Improvement of Productivity for the high carbon steel wire(0.75wt%C) through the Superhigh Speed Drawing (초고속 신선을 통한 고탄소강(0.75wt%C) 선재의 생산성 향상에 관한 연구)

  • Generally, fine high carbon steel wire is produced using a multi-pass drawing process with speeds over 1000 m/min. The productivity of the wire drawing mainly depends on achieving the highest drawing speed without breaking the wire. In the multi-pass drawing, as the final drawing speed increases, the temperature rises several hundred Celsius. High temperature of wire increases the brittleness and leads to breaks. The objective of this study is to design pass schedule and wire drawing machine for superhigh speed. In the drawing experiment, it was possible to increase the productivity through the increase in final speed from 1100 m/min to 2000 m/min.

  • Lately, superhigh speed network infra is developing with the fast speed, is evolved by step that existent appliances are digitalised and appliances are become remote control by being gear to network. Also, gearing in Home network and superhigh speed network infra, control appliances in Internet and research that do monitering is proceed. Therefore, describe about indoor environment automatic control system that use Wireless sensor and Microcontroler in this paper. Because using that electric power, Zigbee sensor and Wireless module, embodied system that measured in the room temperature and use ATmega128 Microcontroler and use each device (temperature, illumination, humidity) back in house and control humidifier, electric fan etc. Can use variously in Home network field by this Wireless sensor and Microcontroler base, and also can apply variously to several industry fields as well as Home network field.

A SAN Optimization Scheme for High-Performance Storage System (고성능 저장장치를 위한 SAN최적화기법)

  • We noted that substituting hard disk with high-performance storage device on SAN did not immediately result in getting high performance. Investigating the reason behind this leaded us to propose optimization schemes for high-performance storage system. We first got rid of the latency in the I/O process which is unsuitable for the high-performance storage device, added parallelism on the storage server, and applied temporal merge to Superhigh speed network protocol for improving the performance with small random I/O. The proposed scheme was implemented on the SAN with high-performance storage device and we verified that there were about 30% reduction on the I/O delay latency and 200% improvement on the storage bandwidth.

  • The quality of medical treatment can be promoted by transmitting high-definition medical images and sharing these images. The high speed transmission network is a requirement for the ultra high-definition media. A high quality medical research and education can be provided by connecting resources and media-data through the superhigh speed research network. Network bandwidth for 4K media transmission generated with Lambda network technology.

  • This paper describe inner-collision-characteristics of the ship structural plates when the projectile collides with plate-material using LS-DYNA3D which is general and useful finite element analysis tool in collision problem fields. The series analyses were carried out from high speed(41.56m/s-118.9m/s) to ultrahigh speed(544.05m/s-800m/s). Through these analyses we can approach empirical formula to estimate penetration limit of the ship structural plates with which the projectile of various speed collides.

  • By development of the superhigh speed network and the Networked appliance, a home network environment was equipped quickly around the cyber apartment. The home network environment provides the abundant family life style which numerous appliance and tools are connected with the network. Recently it is caused by with appearance of the Networked appliance which is connected with the network, the service demand is augmented to hacking, wrong operation, breakdown, crime prevention in home automation, fire, and break-in. This paper planned and proposed the integrated crisis management service model in the environment of home network and Networked appliance. Namely, it classifies the Networked appliance crisis management service and it defines a crisis management message with the XML. The message where the crisis situation occurs is notified and controlled in wireless PDA or the hand phone or the specific authorization.

Used improved Vernam's encryption techniques to encrypt videotex.
