  • In this paper, Tobit and Heckit models are introduced. These models have been used for analyzing censored data. Censoring occurs at a specific point and a large number of observations are distributed with a positive probability at a certain point. Censoring can occur due to observing limitation or exogenous variables. Tobit and Heckit models are used to correct sample selection bias, which can occur when an ordinary linear regression model is fitted to censored data. However, the difference between the two models is not clearly accounted for; hence, they have often been used interchangeably. Therefore, the suitability of the models was validated through simulated data, and demonstrated through real data. As the result, it was confirmed that both Tobit and Heckit models are well-fitted to the data censored due to observing limitation, although Tobit model was fitted parsimoniously. In contrast, only Heckit model is well-fitted to the data censored due to exogenous variables.

  • Water reservoir is defined as a storage space to hold and supply filtered water and it's significantly important to manage water level in the water reservoir so as to stabilize water supply by controlling water supply depending on demand. Liquid level sensors have been installed in the water reservoir and the pumps in the booster station facilitated management for optimum water level in the water reservoir. But the incident responses including sensor malfunction and communication breakdown actually count on manager's inspection, which involves risk of accidents. To stabilize draining facility management, this study has come up with AI model that predicts changes in the water level in the water reservoir. Going through simulation in the case of missing data in the water level to verify stability in relation to the field application of the prediction model for water level changes in the reservoir, the comparison of actual change value and predicted value allows to test utility of the model.

  • The primary objective of this study is to construct more simple and reasonable rheological model and propose a methodology for predicting a phenomenon of concrete creep. Deformations of concrete under sustained stress can be expressed by the sum of immediately elastic deformation, time-dependent and time-independent short-term creep, and long-term creep according to the mechanism and time-dependency. To simulate these deformations, a rheological model having six parameters was constructed. In the composing of each parameter, the microprestress-solidification theory and design model code were incorporated together with the numerical approach for the components which can not be theoretically approached. Finally, actual test data were applied in the verification of the proposed model, and suitability of the model was confirmed by comparisons with existing predicting models and design codes.

  • Desire for a happy life becomes the will that man instinctively desires. In that the conditions of happiness are subjective and varied, the will of subjective desires has been studied with the attention of objective tendencies. The positive and meaningful will of life in the desire for happiness leads us to be the functionaries who act. These wills can be the driving force of a happy life, which allows one to have a hopeful reflective will in one's inner life, connecting oneself with others, and working in relationships with others. In addition, those who become lazy or lose their orientation in life can instill a will to be the main character of life, and furthermore, to give the ultimate meaning and goals of life. To understand and analyze these wills for happy lives more specifically, structural model compatibility and confirmatory factors were conducted. relatively reliable α=.855 value, the coefficient of correlation between recognition and will **p<.01, *p<.05 statistically significant measuring tool of not less than 05 was used. The study results of the structural model suitability of the factors of will and the confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model set by the researcher could reflect the characteristics of the data collected, and that the χ2(Chi-square) value was .126, which was consistent with the model by satisfying the acceptance criteria, and that the comparison of the reference values of the study model showed a relatively high level of suitability. To identify the relationship between cognitive and defined and behavioral factors of subjective will and existent will variables, the results of a verification factor analysis show that the χ2(Chi-square) value is 2.36 and the model and data are consistent with the acceptance criteria, and that the test data is consistent with the model and data set by the researcher are consistent with the model5.0 Through structural model analysis of human will, it was confirmed that the variables of subjective and existential, sensible and reflective will directly and indirectly influence and form a complex relationship. Our will is recognized as the subjective will, and the structure of the subjective will consists of the sensible and reflective will, and the relationship between the cognitive and just action elements and the subjective will of the human life and the will to exist is shown to be very meaningful, so we should conduct the education of the happy will of the emotional and just areas of life as well as the reestablishment of the cognitive educational direction that can lead to action.

  • This study is for the purpose of understanding User Satisfaction of Accounting Information System more closely by means of perceiving relations between Internal Controls and Quality. That is, this study is to assess Internal Controls and Quality and to connect those with User Satisfaction. This thesis is for the substantial study on whether Information Quality, System Quality, and Service Quality influenced by Internal Controls of Accounting Information System have an effect on User Satisfaction, when Internal Controls of Accounting Information System is good, The following hypothesis was made to achieve this purpose. First, Internal Controls will have an positive influence on Quality. Second, Qualify will positively affect User Satisfaction. Third, Internal Controls will positively Influence User Satisfaction. Fourth, Internal Controls will have a positive effect on User Satisfaction through Quality For the survey sample, this study gathered data on someone engaged in companies or organizations which have computer offices, and groups were differentiated between general staff and someone in charge of the computer office, and each group had different questions. In general, 622 of questions were distributed and 200 of the final valid samples were used for the substantial analysis. As the result of the study, the relations between Internal Controls and Quality are statistically significant. The relations between Quality and User Satisfaction ire also statistically significant. But the relations between Internal Controls and User Satisfaction are not statistically significant. Path Analysis was implemented to analyze the hypothesis on whether Internal Controls have an influence on User Satisfaction through Quality. When the result of analysis with Lisrel 8.5 was examined, index numbers(GFI, AGFI, RMR) representing the suitability of the model were enough to be taken and it is showed that there is the suitability of the model. Internal Controls of Accounting Information System can't have an influence on User Satisfaction with Quality. As the above hypothesis was rejected, Through Path Analysis, this study examined the influence which relations between Internal Controls and Quality, factors of User Satisfaction, have on User Satisfaction, and is very meaningful in terms of the first trial. And on the point of time when there are little studies on the effect analyses between Internal Controls and Quality, this study would be the promoter for the future. The limitation on this study is to analyze only mutual effects between factors by choosing Internal Controls, Quality, and User Satisfaction as survey variables. The study which measure items with precision which are related to each variable and understand measurement factors clearly should be implemented.

  • Koreoleptoxis nodifila (Martens, 1886) is an endangered species only living in the central and north streams of South Korea. However, there is a lack of information on physical habitat characteristics of K. nodifila. We aimed to determine preference ranges for water depth, current velocity, streambed substrate of K. nodifila. The weibull model was used to estimate the habitat suitability based on distribution of individual abundance by physical factors. Optimal depth preferences ranged from 0.53~17.17 cm, current preferences ranged from 48.40~81.03 cm s-1 and substrate (𝜱m) preferences ranged from -4.36~ -2.26. Median values of central tendency were determined as follows: water depth 16.73 cm, current velocity 65.23 cm s-1, substrate -3.51. Mean values of central tendency were determined as follows: water depth 21.32 cm, current velocity 65.65 cm s-1, substrate -3.63. Mode values of central tendency were determined as follows: water depth 5.17 cm, current velocity 64.77 cm s-1, substrate -3.24. Based on the habitat suitability analysis, the microhabitat types of K. nodifila were determined as riffle and coarse-grained streambed.

  • Background: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government initiated the Billion Tree Tsunami Afforestation Project including regeneration and afforestation approaches. An effort was made to assess the distribution characteristics of afforested species under present and future climatic scenarios using ecological niche modelling. For sustainable forest management, landscape ecology can play a significant role. A significant change in the potential distribution of tree species is expected globally with changing climate. Ecological niche modeling provides the valuable information about the current and future distribution of species that can play crucial role in deciding the potential sites for afforestation which can be used by government institutes for afforestation programs. In this context, the potential distribution of 8 tree species, Cedrus deodara, Dalbergia sissoo, Juglans regia, Pinus wallichiana, Eucalyptus camaldulensis, Senegalia modesta, Populus ciliata, and Vachellia nilotica was modeled. Results: Maxent species distribution model was used to predict current and future distribution of tree species using bioclimatic variables along with soil type and elevation. Future climate scenarios, shared socio-economic pathways (SSP)2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 were considered for the years 2041-2060 and 2081-2100. The model predicted high risk of decreasing potential distribution under SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 climate change scenarios for years 2041-2060 and 2081-2100, respectively. Recent afforestation conservation sites of these 8 tree species do not fall within their predicted potential habitat for SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 climate scenarios. Conclusions: Each tree species responded independently in terms of its potential habitat to future climatic conditions. Cedrus deodara and P. ciliata are predicted to migrate to higher altitude towards north in present and future climate scenarios. Habitat of D. sissoo, P. wallichiana, J. regia, and V. nilotica is practiced to be declined in future climate scenarios. Eucalyptus camaldulensis is expected to be expanded its suitability area in future with eastward shift. Senegalia modesta habitat increased in the middle of the century but decreased afterwards in later half of the century. The changing and shifting forests create challenges for sustainable landscapes. Therefore, the study is an attempt to provide management tools for monitoring the climate change-driven shifting of forest landscapes.

  • In this research, a habitat model for Chinemys reevesii is suggested based on the components and variables of the Habitat Suitability Index which was determined through a series of literature researches, site surveys, and behavioral analysis. After reviewing the general habitat requirements, the site surveys(9 reservoirs) from July to December 2010, and the behavioral analysis of five Chinemys reevesii, the relationship between the behavioral and habitat use pattern was evaluated. According to the site surveys and behavioral analysis, the ecological core area(FK 50%) was about 0.96ha on average, the influence area(FK 90%) 4.22ha, and the home range was about $37.75{\pm}17.26m$ on average. As for the habitat use pattern of Chinemys reevesii, it travels through canals, and is influenced by the surrounding land uses. Also when there is a lack of food, the home range increases, and during hibernation, Chinemys reevesii prefers to be in an area within 1~2m range of water shores of fine textured soil and aquatic plants. After analyzing the information, the HSI standard was set and its components were determined as food, sunbathing and cover, aquatic environment, and spatial relationships. And the variables and the ranges of the components was determined as aquatic plant cover(0~49.81%), sandy area($3{\sim}13m^2$) and water velocity(0~60cm/s) etc. Lastly, plans and sections of the habitat model is provided designed according to the information from the researches, and problems to consider during habitat restoration was suggested in order to help understand about Chinemys reevesii habitat.
