The study investigates the factors that affect Kyrgyzstan's bilateral trade flows with its main trading partners and attempts to predict trade potential for Kyrgyzstan. Using panel data, the gravity model is applied to estimate Kyrgyzstan's trade from 2000 to 2016 for its 35 main trading partners. The coefficients derived from the gravity-model estimation are then used to predict trade potential for Kyrgyzstan. Results proved to be successful and explained 63% of the fluctuations in Kyrgyzstan's trade. According to the results, Kyrgyzstan's and its partners' GDP have a positive effect on trade, while distance and partners' population prove to have a negative effect. Predicted trade potential reveals that neighboring countries (China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan) and Russia still have a significant trade potential. Kyrgyzstan, being a less developed economy, even by Central Asia standards, can only achieve its goals of reducing poverty and becoming more developed by increasing its overall trade with the rest of the world. Therefore, it is essential to study the main determinants of Kyrgyzstan's bilateral trade. In this way, we can help policy makers formulate policies to expand Kyrgyzstan's trade. This study is the first attempt to apply to the gravity model to Kyrgyzstan in an attempt to predict trade potential.

The real estate portal has grown into a successful e-Business model that is combined on and off line. Although IT technologies have shown rapid growth, the real estate portals have failed to satisfy the expectations of the Internet users. Based on Michael Porter's competitive forces framework, this study proposes five competitive strategies for continuing growth of the real estate portals. First, to strengthen bargaining power against supplier, buyer and potential new entrants, the real estate portals need to construct a basic network that is cost efficient and maintains real estate goods and makes profits by collaborative deals. Second, strengthen brand value and endeavor to escape from dependency on the Internet portals. Third, develop services to consider changed circumstances and give a lot of sources to make profit to real estate agencies. Fourth, concentrate on marketing to draw in the Internet users and adapt strategies that have been successful in other fields. Finally, real estate fields can seek out ideas for developing new business models from other successful e-Business models and should benchmark them to reduce expenses to a minimum and increase benefits to a maximum.
Marine sponges are a rich source of highly diversified bioactive compounds. These medicinally valuable molecules represent extreme physiological and ecological functions in sponges, more presumably involving in the resistance to the feeding by other marine organisms like fish and fouling by barnacles, bacteria, fungi, etc. This feature of attaining resistance made sponges as successful poriferans that possess an impressive array of biological properties ranging from antimicrobial to anticancerous activities. The diversified bioactive principle of sponges might be due to their spacio-temporal distribution and although, the gateway for exploiting the sponges for isolating these distinct, potential molecules is open, suitable technical and methodological approaches are yet to be implemented in order to bring the sponges as successful pharmaceutical leads in the field of marine biotechnology. Despite of the identified difficulties of marine sponge research from past few decades, one should concentrate not only on the basic and applied technical/methodological considerations, but also on the novel strategies like in vitro sponge cell, fragment and whole sponge culture; sponge symbiont cell culture; in situ and ex situ sponge cultivation; and sponge bioreactors and metagenomic approaches, for the successful exploitation of marine sponges towards the novelty in sponge biotechnology. The present review narrates the pros and cons of the nowadays-marine sponge research by focusing on the suggestive ecobiotechnological approaches, based on the latest studies for feasible ecological exploitation and biotechnological application of sponges from the sea.
Although firms are adopting strategic performance management systems (PMS) that provide information that allows the firms to identify the strategies offering the highest potential for achieving the firms' objectives, many firms still suffer from making the implementation of PMS a success. The purpose of this paper is to identify those factors that influence the successful implementation of performance management systems. This paper performs a comprehensive literature scrutiny on the implementation factors of PMS including the Balanced Scorecard, Performance Prism, Intellectual Capital Navigation, and Activity-based Costing, as well as traditional performance management systems. The findings of this research will provide useful insights into the anatomy of the success factors for implementing performance management systems and will help management to all the different sized organizations in the different sectors and industries. This paper also provides some future directions for research.
RNA interference has created a breakthrough in gene silencing technology and there is now much debate on the successful usage of RNAi based methods in treating a number of debilitating diseases. Cancer is often regarded as a result of mutations in genomic DNA resulting in faulty gene expression. The occurrence of cancer can also be influenced by epigenetic irregularities in the chromatin structure which leads to alterations and mutations in DNA resulting in cancer cell formation. A number of therapeutic approaches have been put forth to treat cancer. Anti cancer therapy often involves chemotherapy targeting all the cells in common, whereby both cancer cells as well as normal cells get affected. Hence RNAi technology has potential to be a better therapeutic agent as it is possible to deactivate molecular targets like specific mutant genes. This review highlights the successful use of RNAi inducers against different types of cancer, thereby paving the way for specific therapeutic medicines.
Recombinant plasmids harboring a heterologous gene coding for the enhanced green fluorescent protein (EGFP) were transfected and expressed in Drosophila melanogaster S2 cells. A stable transformation of polyclonal cell populations expressing EGFP were isolated after 4 weeks of selection with hygromycin B. The recombinant EFGP expressed in transformed S2 cells consisted of a molecular weight of 27 kDa. EGFP expression was also confirmed by fluorometric measurement. The maximum EGFP concentration was about 9.3 mg/I. The present findings demonstrate not only the successful stable expression of EGFP in Drosophuila was about 9.3 mgI. The present findings demonstrate not only the successful stable expression of EGFP in Drosophila S2 cells, but also the use of EGFP as a reporter to analyze gene expression, with its potential of a Drosophila cell expression system for recombinant protein production being an alternative to a baculovirus-insect cell expression system.
Social Network Services (SNSs) have grown to be new and promising tools of marketing. By referring to researches done on e-mail viral marketing, this paper operationizes SNS viral marketing effectiveness to accurately reflect marketing success in SNS environment, and tries to identify its affecting factors. As potential affecting factors, fan size, advertisement type, existence of engagement elicitation and incentive are identified. By sampling real advertisement postings on Facebook, we showed that fan size, advertisement type, and engagement elicitation are factors affecting SNS viral marketing success. This research expanded the conventional model of viral marketing into SNS settings to improve understanding on SNS viral marketing. Motivation is discussed as an important factor, and this research showed that viral campaign can be more successful when it triggers internal motivation to engage, but not the external motivation. This research could also be a guide for practitioners on how to post a successful advertisement in SNSs.
Matching for the rhesus (Rh) blood group is currently not taken into account in the organ allocation system. However, in Rh-mismatched transplantation, the primary concern is the potential for RhD-negative recipients to develop sensitization and produce anti-D antibodies if they receive a transfusion of RhD-positive blood. It is estimated that over 80% of RhD-negative recipients may experience Rh allosensitization when exposed to RhD-positive blood, although this occurrence is less common in recipients of solid organs. In theory, RhD-negative recipients who receive organs from RhD-positive donors are at risk of alloimmunization and the production of anti-D antibodies, which could complicate future blood product transfusions. However, our understanding of the impact of donor-recipient Rh mismatch on transplant outcomes, particularly in heart transplantation, is limited. We report a case of successful Rh-mismatched heart transplantation, which was effectively managed through the use of preoperative RhD immunoglobulin and plasmapheresis.

Using an H-type divided cell, reductive coupling reaction of nitroarene toward azobenzenes in a mild condition was successfully accomplished by the controlled potential cathodic electrolysis reaction. Optimum reaction potential of each reaction was determined based on cyclic voltammetric behavior in methanol solution at Pb or Pt cathode, and Pt anode. In most cases, reductive coupling reactions were successful with excellent yields regardless of the position and the character of the substituents.

Research and Development (R&D) departments concentrate their efforts on one of two key types of research: fundamental research to discover new technology, and product development research to determine ways to use new technology or to improve upon already existing technology. Of these two types of research, the first, fundamental research, does not guarantee that successful products will develop. This type of research generally requires the investment of large sums of money without the surety of financial gain. It can, however, greatly enhance a company's image and profit potential if it can then develop a successful product from the fundamental research their scientists and engineers have done. Also, through this type of research, companies can register patents which can result in income from the sale or license of the patented technology or process to other companies. Companies place themselves at financial risk when they delve into fundamental research. For that reason, most companies concentrate their research funds and efforts on the second type of research, product development. For a product to be considered successful the company must realize some sort of benefit such as profit, increased marketshare, market recognition, or any other company-defined benefits. Both types of research require a company's consistent financial investment and planning. As the world market becomes more competitive, only those companies that can produce a product with good quality, competitive pricing, and in a timely manner will thrive. This thesis focuses on issues for developing a successful product through examining a product life cycle, a product portfolio matrix, and reactive and proactive marketing strategies.
