인도 중재.조정법의 주요 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Main Characteristics in Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act)

  • The significant increase in international trade over the last few decades has been accompanied by an increase in the number of commercial disputes between Korea and India. Understanding the Indian dispute resolution system, including arbitration, is necessary for successful business operation with Indian companies. This article investigates characteristics of India's Arbitration and Conciliation Act in order to help then traders who enter into business with Indian companies to settle their disputes efficiently. The Arbitration and Conciliation Act(1996) based on the 1985 UNCITRAL Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration and the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules 1976, has a number of characteristics including the following: (i) this act covers ad hoc arbitration and institutional arbitration (ii) parties to the arbitration agreement have no option except arbitration in case of any dispute (iii) the parties can choose their own laws, places, procedures, and arbitrators (iv) the decision of the arbitrators is final and binding (v)role of the court has been minimized and (vi) enforcement of foreign awards is recognized. However, there have been some court decisions that have not been in tune with the spirit and provisions of the Act. Therefore, Korean companies insert the KCAB's standard arbitration clause into their contracts and use India's ADR(Alternative Dispute Resolution) Methods to strategically resolve their disputes. Additionally, Korean companies investigate Indian companies' credit standing before entering into business relations with them.

고객 충성도(Customer Loyalty)에 영향을 미치는 온라인 게임의 중요 요소에 대한 LISREL 모델 분석 (A Structured Analysis Model of Customer Loyalty in Online Games)

  • In recent years, the market for online computer games has become an important part in the entertainment industry. New online games have been introduced every month and the numbers of game players who are playing online games have grown rapidly. However, only a few online games have been successful in making a good profit among many online games. Why are most players playing only a few online games repeatedly? To answer the question, this research focuses on the customer loyalty and their optimal experience(flow) in playing specific online games. This research hypothesizes that customer loyalty for specific online game can be increased by customers' optimal experience(flow) in playing it, and they would feel optimal experience because of mechanic and social interaction in online games. In order to validate the hypothesis, this research analyzes online survey data of players of various online games. According to this survey results, players' optimal experience is affected by their mechanic interaction between a player and an online game system, and their social interaction with other players who participated in the online game. And their optimal experience during playing the online game affects the degree of customer loyalty to the game. This paper ends with conclusions of the survey results and study limits.

  • Purpose: This paper explores the various ways of promoting innovative activities adopted by the companies for raising their competitive positions among the industry based on the previous studies. Methods: A number of successful and mediocre cases of industries were reviewed carefully, and then the customized innovative model was established. Key categories and core elements were first identified for establishing progressive corporate culture and validated with the case of a company with multiple business areas. Results: The key categories were identified as strategic, systematic, human resources, and cultural aspects. The resulting core elements were consistent with those of the case company. Conclusion: Analyzing diverse product groups and companies with different organization culture, the key categories and core elements were derived and validated for companies to win the competitive position in the industry.

The Contribution of External Debt to Economic Growth: An Empirical Investigation in Indonesia

  • This study aims to know the contribution of external debt to Indonesia's economic growth. The data used a source from the Central Bank of Indonesia from 2011 to 2020. This empirical study uses a quantitative approach with Error Correction Model as the regression method. Government expenditure, government revenue, export, import, inflation, and exchange rate are control variables. The result of the descriptive statistic shows economic growth in Indonesia increased gradually from 2011 to 2020. The increase in economic growth occurred regardless of the contribution of external debt. It does, however, inform the public that Indonesia's economic system has seen successful investments. The result of the study is classified into long-term and short-term. External debt contributes to growth in the long term and has a significant impact. The study's findings will give Indonesia optimism that it can manage external debt as a source of domestic investment. This research may also persuade Indonesia to maintain its economic potency in the future. In the future, this research can be perfected, by adding a threshold level on the amount of Indonesia's external debt.

The History of the Auto Industry in South Korea based on Double Helix Model

  • The South Korean automotive industry has been the major producer for both domestic and international market. This rises of the South Korean automotive industry has resulted in combination various factors ranging from government policies and the foreign investment. The Double Helix model provides a comprehensive and useful framework to understand how these factors have interacted to shape the history of the auto industry of South Korea. This research aims to provide the history of the Auto Industry in Korea based on the Double Helix Model. To collect textual literature dataset, the present author tried to screen and select adequate prior studies in the past and current literature to achieve the purpose of the study. According to the literature analysis, the history of the automotive industry in South Korea is an interesting case in the successful implementation of the Double Helix model. The model emphasizes the collaboration between the government and the private sector in achieving common goals. This research founded the four historical events of the development of the South Korean automotive industry based on the Double Helix Models. In sum, the research concludes that the Double Helix Model is an essential tool for understanding the historical development of the auto industry in South Korea.

e-Marketplace에서의 구매자와 판매자의 역할분석 (A Study on the role of buyers and sellers in e-Marketplace)

  • e-Marketplace는 B2B 거래의 한 종류로서 인터넷상에서 불특정 다수의 공급자와 수요자(N:N)간 비즈니스 거래를 유발시켜 주는 가상의 시장인데 전세계적으로 특정 산업에 한정된 수직적인 e-Marketplace와 특정 산업과 관계없는 수평적인 e-Marketplace형태로 발전되고 있다. e-marketplace는 구매자와 판매자에게 제공하는 이점들 때문에 놀라운 속도로 증가하고 있다. 구매자입장에 e-marketplace는 새로운 공급업체를 물색하는 과정에서 들어가는 구매비용을 낮출 수 있다. 공급업체의 경우 e-Marketplace는 판매비용을 낮추고 새로운 고객에게 물품을 납품할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다. 이에 e-marketplace 기업들도 분명한 비즈니스모델로서 경쟁력 있는 업체만이 생존할 것이다. 이러한 생존에서 살아남기 위해서는 치열한 경쟁을 이겨내야 한다. 이에 대한 구매자와 판매자의 역할이 무엇인지를 살펴 보는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다.

배변알리미에서 스마트바틀 출시까지: 스타트업 L사 사례로 본 린 스타트업 실천방안 (From a Defecation Alert System to a Smart Bottle: Understanding Lean Startup Methodology from the Case of Startup "L")

  • 린 스타트업은 효율적인 기업 운영 방식을 의미하는 '린(lean)'과 창업 초기기업을 의미하는 '스타트업(startup)'을 결합해 만들어진 개념으로 창업 초기기업, 특히 소프트웨어 기반 스타트업의 실패 최소화 전략으로 자주 인용되고 있다. 본 연구는 초기스타트업 L사의 사례를 통하여 하드웨어·제조업 기업도 린 스타트업 방법론(LSM)을 유용하게 활용할 수 있음을 제시하고, 초기 스타트업이 LSM을 성공적으로 실천하기 위한 방안을 도출하였다. 이를 위해 LSM의 핵심 개념인 가설중심의 접근법, BML 피드백 순환, 최소요건제품(MVP) 및 피봇을 설명하고, 이를 바탕으로 LSM의 성공적인 실천 여부를 평가할 수 있는 기준을 도출한 후 동 기준을 중심으로 L사의 사례를 분석하였다. L사는 거동불편환자용 배변알리미 제품에서 출발하여, 영유아용 배변알리미를 거쳐, 최종적으로는 영유아용 스마트바틀을 주력 제품으로 사업을 확장하고 있는 스타트업이다. LSM의 관점에서 분석한 결과, L사는 창업 초기에는 창업 아이디어를 구체적인 고객 가치가설로 수립하지 못했고, 신속한 MVP실험을 통해 검증하는 데에도 실패하였으므로 만들기-측정-학습의 순환을 만들어내는데 실패하였다. 그러나 두 차례에 걸친 피봇을 통해 새로운 타겟 고객군과 고객 니즈를 개발하였고, 이를 최소의 노력과 시간을 들인 MVP로 반복적으로 실험함으로써 성공적인 비즈니스모델을 도출할 수 있었다. L사의 사례를 통해 사업초기에 반드시 고객-시장 검증 단계를 거쳐야 하며, 이는 스타트업의 시간과 자원이 낭비되지 않는 MVP 방식으로 진행되어야 함을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 고객이 원하지 않는 제품이나 서비스는 기술적으로 우수하고 기능적으로 완성도가 높다 하더라도 과감히 포기하고 피봇할 필요성이 있음도 확인하였다. 마지막으로 린 스타트업 방법론이 소프트웨어 산업에 국한되지 않고, 기술기반 제조업에도 적용 가능함을 증명하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 창업 초기기업이 실패를 최소화하고, 비즈니스모델 확립과 스케일업, 글로벌 진출에 이르는 과정을 가속화하기 위한 지침과 방법론으로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

창업의지와 기업가정신이 창업성공에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Entrepreneurial Intention and Entrepreneurship on Entrepreneurial Success)

  • 본 연구는 창업의지와 기업가정신이 창업성공에 어떤 상관성이 있는지에 대하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 창업대학원생, 소상공인창업 교육생, 일반인들을 대상으로 설문지를 수집하였고, 창업의지의 특성과 역량을 중심으로 하여 선행연구와 기존문헌을 토대로 연구하였다. 창업의지의 특성요인으로서 창업의지, 기업가 정신, 창업성공, 교육, 멘토의 결정요인을 도출하고 이들 요인과 창업성공과의 관계에 대한 연구모형과 가설을 설정하여 이를 실증적으로 분석, 검증하는 연구를 목적으로 두었다. 본 연구의 실증분석 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업의지가 창업성공에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 창업방법과 창업능력 변수가 유의하였다. 둘째, 기업가정신이 창업성공에 미치는 요인으로는 기업의지와 외부요인, 내부요인의 변수가 유의하였다. 셋째, 창업교육이 창업성공에 미치는 요인으로는 성공 재교육이 가장 큰 영향으로 나타나 창업 후에도 꾸준한 교육이 필요하다는 결과가 나왔다. 넷째, 창업 멘토가 창업성공에 미치는 요인으로는 창업의 실무적인 멘토가 가장 큰 영향이 있었으며, 창업의 성공적인 멘토, 사회적으로 성공한 멘토 순으로 나왔고 업종에 대해 더 많은 것을 알고 있고 경험이 있는 사람들과 관계를 통해서 사업을 더 멀리보고 성장할 수 있다. 본 연구 대상자들의 성격은 긍정적인 성격이 압도적으로 많이 나와 창업을 하는 사람들의 성격은 긍정적인 성격과 타인을 배려하는 마음이 많이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • A new logistics concept is needed through the sharing information between suppliers and consumers, which maximizes the customers service and its flexibility by changing functional- oriented to process-oriented. As in many other industries, communication and data manipulation technology have led to systematical change to the logistics industry. One of the biggest changes of the industry that lies ahead is Consolidated Transportation. To improve this systematically false logistical environment, developing an integrated logistics information system with consolidated transportation, framework, standardization, and data integration is essential. However, no party outstands as the leading party for nationwide improvement of logistics, nor does the right analysis and design for it. Therefore, successful nationwide logistics model is yet to exist. This paper provides individual parties, which consider efficient consolidated transportation as their business models, with instructions for logistics information system so that they could be competitive in the market. It also helps companies collect user requirements for efficient consolidated transportation, and utilize it for its development. Finally, this paper extracts the design of algorithm for the efficient consolidated transportation.

업무-지식 통합기반의 차세대 지식경영 모델 (Next Generation Knowledge Management A Process Integrated Model of Knowledge Asset Utilization)

  • Despite the well accepted necessity and importance of knowledge management, cases of successful knowledge management are not easy to find. With a case study of a Korean organization, this research introduces an integrated knowledge management model, in which knowledge and work processes are combined to improved knowledge performance. Knowledge-work process integration facilitates knowledge asset creation, transfer, and utilization, through which inefficiencies in knowledge utilization may be removed and knowledge contribution to business performance may be enhanced. Knowledge-work process integration may further be aligned with innovation processes, enabling systematic and continuous knowledge based process innovation.
