동영상내의 물체 추적에 관한 연구 (A Study on Tracking of Object in Image Sequence)

  • 이동 물체 검출 및 추적은 과중한 연산량에 의해 초당 처리할 수 있는 프레임의 수가 적게 되거나 정합 과정이 단순하여 추적을 실패하는 문제점들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 동영상내에서 이동 물체를 검출하고 추적하는 새로운 접근 방법을 제안한다. 입력된 영상으로부터 배경과 물체를 분리하기 위해 background subtraction을 이용하였고, 분리된 물체들은 이진 연결 요소 분석을 통하여 세그먼트 된다. 그리고 물체의 추적을 위하여 Kalman filter를 사용하였다. 본 논문의 실험에서는 야외에서 촬영한 비디오 시퀀스를 이용하였으며, 물체 검출 및 추적이 조명 변화, 그림자에도 잘 적응함을 증명하였다.

A FAST REDUCTION METHOD OF SURVEY DATA IN RADIO ASTRONOMY

  • We present a fast reduction method of survey data obtained using a single-dish radio telescope. Along with a brief review of classical method, a new method of identification and elimination of negative and positive bad channels are introduced using cloud identification code and several IRAF (Image Reduction and Analysis Facility) tasks relating statistics. Removing of several ripple patterns using Fourier Transform is also discussed. It is found that BACKGROUND task within IRAF is very efficient for fitting and subtraction of base-line with varying functions. Cloud identification method along with the possibility of its application for analysis of cloud structure is described, and future data reduction method is discussed.

  • Detection of left ventricular boundary for the functional analysis of LV(left ventricle)is obtained using automatic boundary detection algorithm based on dynamic programming method. This scheme reduces the edge searching time and ensures connective edge detection, since it does not require general edge operator, edge thresholding and linking process of other edge. detection methods. The left ventricular diastolic volume and systolic volume and systolic volume were computed after this automatic boundary detection, and these Volume data wm applied to analyze LV ejection fraction.

  • Digital Radiograpy & Fluoroscopy(DRF 또는 DR 또는 DF)는 cone beam을 이용하여 인체를 투과한 X선을 영상증배관(Image Intensifying Tube: IIT)을 통하여 가시광선으로 변환시킨 후 영상을 카메라로 보내고, 이곳에서 발생한 영상정보를 디지털로 처리하여 모니터를 통해 눈에 보이는 영상으로 만드는 방법으로 IIT에 기초한 디지털 방사선 촬영술이라고도 한다. DF 방법은 즉시 영상 표시와 진단이 가능하기 때문에 즉시성이 요구되는 심장이나 두복부 등의 순환기 분야에서 DSA(Digital Subtraction Angiography) 장비로 이용되고 있고, 순환기뿐만 아니라 위를 중심으로 한 소화관(식도, 위, 소장, 대장, 직장)의 분야에서 적용 가능하다. (중략)

Role of Multislice Computerized Tomographic Angiography after Clip Placement in Aneurysm Patients Based on Comparison with Three Dimensional Digital Subtraction Angiography

  • Objective : We evaluated the accuracy of multislice computerized tomographic angiography (MCTA) in the postoperative evaluation of clipped aneurysms by comparising it with three dimensional digital subtraction angiography (3D-DSA). Methods : Between May 2004 and September 2006, we included patients with ruptured cerebral aneurysm of the anterior circulation that was surgically clipped and evaluated by both postoperative MCTA and postoperative 3D-DSA. We measured the diagnostic performance and calculated the sensitivity and specificity of postoperative MCTA compared to 3D-DSA in the detection of aneurysm remnants. Results : A total of 11 neck remnants among the 92 clipped aneurysms (11.9%) were confirmed by 3D-DSA. According to Sindou's classification of aneurysm remnants, 8.7% of clipped aneurysms (8/92) had only neck remnant on 3D-DSA and 3.2% (3/92 aneurysms) had residuum of the neck and sac on 3D-DSA. There were 12 (13.04%) equivocal cases that were difficult to interpret based on the postoperative MCTA. The reasons for the equivocal cases included multiple clips (6 cases, 50.0%). beam-hardening effect (4 cases, 33.3%), motion artifact (1 case, 8.3%), fenestrated clip (1 case, 8.3%) and other combined causes. The sensitivity and specificity of the postoperative MCTA was 81.8% and 88.9%, respectively by ROC curve (p=0.000). Conclusion : MCTA is an accurate noninvasive imaging method used for the assessment of clipped aneurysms in the anterior circulation. If the image quality of postoperative MCTA is good quality and the patient has been treated with a single titanium clip, except a fenestrated clip, the absence of an aneurysm remnant can be diagnosed by MCTA alone and the need for postoperative DSA can be reduced in a large percentage of cases.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate effect of platelet rich plasma on the treatment of Grade II furcation involvement, with Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone(Dembone(R)) and bioabsorable membrane(BioMesh(R)) in humans by digital subtraction radiography. 12 teeth(control group) were treated with Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone(Dembone(R)) and bioabsorable membrane(BioMesh(R)), and 12 teeth(test group) were treated with Demineralized Freeze-Dried Bone(Dembone(R)), bioabsorable membrane(BioMesh(R)) and Platelet Rich Plasma. The change of bone density was assessed by digital subtraction radiography in this study. The change of mineral content by as much as 5%(vol) could be perceived in the subtracted images. The change of mineral content was assessed in the method that two radiographs are put into computer program to be overlapped and the previous image is subtracted by the later one. Both groups were statistically analyzed by Wilcoxon signed Ranks Test and Mann-whitney Test using SPSS program (5% significance level). The results were as follows: 1. In test group, the radiopacity in 3 months after surgery were significantly increased than 1 month after surgery(p<0.05). However. there were no significant difference between 1 month after surgery and 3 months after surgery in control group(p>0.05). 2. In test and control group, the radiopacity in 6 months after surgery were significantly increased than 1 month after surgery(p<0.05) 3. In test and control group, the radiopacity in 6 months after surgery were significantly increased than 3 months after surgery(p<0.05). 4. There were no significant difference between test group and control group at 1 month, 3 months after surgery, but radiopacity in test group were significantly increased than control group at 6 months after surgery(p<0.05). In conclusion, Platelet Rich Plasma can enhance bone density.

  • 배경제거는 동영상의 내용을 자동으로 분석하기 위한 매우 중요한 기술의 하나로 움직이는 객체를 검출하고 추적하기 위한 핵심 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 배경 모델과 함께 배경 영상을 제공하는 새로운 샘플링 기반의 배경제거 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 움직임이 빠른 객체와 느린 객체를 동시에 처리하기 위해 다중 구간 샘플링 기법을 이용하여 배경 모델을 생성한다. 이러한 다중 구간 배경 모델들로부터 최선의 배경 모델을 만들기 위해 "신뢰도"를 사용한 것이 본 논문의 특징이다. 배경 제거 분야에서 다양한 모델을 병합하여 하나의 모델을 만들기 위해 신뢰도를 정의하여 사용한 경우는 현재까지 보고되지 않았다. 실험을 통해 제안된 방법이 다양한 속도의 객체가 존재하고 시간에 따른 그림자의 이동과 같은 환경 변화가 있는 응용에서도 안정적인 결과를 나타내는 것을 알 수 있었다.

CMOS Image sensor 를 위한 효과적인 플리커 검출기 설계 (Design of Efficient Flicker Detector for CMOS Image Sensor)

  • In this paper, an efficient detection algorithm for the flicker, which is caused by mismatching between light frequency and exposure time at CMOS image sensor (CIS), is proposed. The flicker detection can be implemented by specific hardware or complex signal processing logic. However it is difficult to implement on single chip image sensor, which has pixel, CDS, ADC, and ISP on a die, because of limited die area. Thus for the flicker detection, the simple algorithm and high accuracy should be achieved on single chip image sensor,. To satisfy these purposes, the proposed algorithm organizes only simple operation, which calculates the subtraction of horizontal luminance mean between continuous two frames. This algorithm was verified with MATLAB and Xilinx FPGA, and it is implemented with Magnachip 0.18 standard cell library. As a result, the accuracy is 95% in average on FPGA emulation and the consumed gate count is about 7,500 gates (@40MHz) for implementation using Magnachip 0.18 process.

모바일 기반의 동작 추적 기법을 이용한 감시 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of Surveillance System using Motion Tracking Method based on Mobile)

  • 본 논문에서는 영상분할에 의한 동작 추적 기법을 이용하여 침입자를 감시하고 관련 정보를 모바일 기반으로 확인하도록 하였다. 먼저, 탐지하고자 하는 일정한 영역을 촬영한 동영상에서 프레임을 추출하고, 인접한 두 프레임 사이의 이미지 차를 사용하여, 고정된 배경과 움직이는 대상을 분할한다. 분할된 전경 물체에서 에지를 검출하여 지정된 위치별로 추출된 에지의 중간 값을 추정하여 동작을 분석함으로써 침입자를 감시할 수 있도록 하였다. 동작이 검출되면, 영상은 WAP 풀 기반 영상 전송 방법을 사용하여 모바일 클라이언트로 전송한다.
