나무의사 자격시험의 실태분석과 제도개선 방안 - 제1차 시험을 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Actual Condition of the Tree Doctor Qualification Test and Improvement of the System - Focus on the First Test -)

  • This study aimed to provide preliminary data for the improvement of the tree doctor qualification test (first written test), which was newly created by enforcing the Forest Protection Act on June 28, 2018., The high demand for system improvement accelerated this study. The results were analyzeds through literature and questionnaire surveys. Writing test questions and the license of the tree doctor qualification exam are currently managed by the Korea Forestry Research Institute, and it is deemed that the test should be entrusted to Human Resources Development Service of Korea for fair and transparent management. Additionally, the plan for the improvement of the subject-wise scope of examination questions writing, difficulty of test questions, and acceptance rate of the first test should be prepared after public hearings or seminars related to the examination questions.

Visual Presentation of Connected Speech Test (CST)

  • The Connected Speech Test (CST) was developed to test hearing aid performance using realistic stimuli (Connected speech) presented in a background of noise with a visible speaker. The CST has not been investigated as a measure of speech reading ability using the visual portion of the CST only. Thirty subjects were administered the 48 test lists of the CST using visual presentation mode only. Statistically significant differences were found between the 48 test lists and between the 12 passages of the CST (48 passages divided into 12 groups of 4 lists which were averaged.). No significant differences were found between male and female subjects; however, in all but one case, females scored better than males. No significant differences were found between students in communication disorders and students in other departments. Intra- and inter-subject variability across test lists and passages was high. Suggestions for further research include changing the scoring of the CST to be more contextually based and changing the speaker for the CST.

양육태도검사 예비형의 문항검사―재검사 신뢰도의 분석 (Analysis of Test-retest Reliability of Individual Items in a Preliminary From of Child-rearing Attitude Scale)

  • As a step preliminary to the factor-analysis of a child-rearing attitude scale under construction, its preliminary form containing a total of 368 self-answered questions was administerd to 88 married women with one or more children in the grade school age. all graduates of colleges and in possession of a home telephone and a house, twice from one week apart. The test-retest correlation coefficients, calculated for each test item based on the subject's choice among the three response alternatives on two test ocasions, ranged from .80 to .10. The cut-off point of r=.41 or lower led to the elimination of 48 items. As a point of incidental interest, the rate of response concordance. The namber of subjects giving the same categroy response on two occasions was calculated for each item and it was correlated with its test. retest correlation coefficient. The two different indices of item test-retest reliability were found not related to each other. Empirical evidence, as well as rational justifications, was presented to show that the correlation coefficient is the better of the tow indices of item test-retest reliability.

  • This article is focusing on the improvement of weapon system test & evaluation, aimed at the weapon system in the research development stage. This article suggests improvement directions in three aspects(organization and system, skilled manpower and technology, test facilities of weapon system test & evaluation) as follows. 1) Weapon system test & evaluation organization and system a. Establishment of comprehensive test & evaluation system b. Making regulation for comprehensive test infrastructure management. c. Standardization of test & evaluation process, which can be used in special subject to army, navy and air force. 2) Skilled manpower and technology of weapon system test & evaluation a. Training & education, management of test & evaluation experts. b. Establishment of skill management system of test & evaluation. 3) Test facilities of weapon system test & evaluation a. Establishment of comprehensive improvement direction of test & evaluation installation and equipment. b. Consideration of counter measures to prevent overlapping investment, and to use the test & evaluation resources efficiently. c. Establishment of organic network for the effective use of test & evaluation installation and equipment. d. Establishment of detailed cooperation plan for the commonage of test & evaluation facility and equipment.

소형선박조종사 면허시험 전형제도에 관한 연구 (Study on Screening Examination of Small Boat Operator's Certificate of Competency)

  • Small boat operator's certificate of competency took up 39.0% of total license holders and required for at least 19,000 boats in 2013, was proposed the improvement items by reviewing the acts and criteria related to the current test and analyzed the questions of set at examinations. About 31% of questions of the current written test are unsuitable for the target boat and operational knowledge of the operator. It is appropriate that the subject categorization criteria and contents of the subjects will be improved to include practical details related to safe ship operation, and the number of questions increased according to each subject category in amended examination after January 1st, 2017. The interview test should be improved so that the questions can be forwarded in a clear manner through formulation of practical problems, photos, etc. considering the real situations such as high age/low education status of testee and it is necessary to lengthen the interview time per testee. The test and interview personnel should consist of a human resource pool with experience in small boat operator training and workers of related areas familiar with field terminology. Furthermore, the test should be divided into small boats of 2 to 5 tons and those exceeding 5 tons according to the tonnage of small boats.

Investigation of Transition Types of HPV DNA Test Results over Time in Korean Women

  • Background: Understanding the history of human papilloma virus (HPV) infection is important for interpretation of a positive HPV DNA screening test, future work-up and treatment. We investigated the transition of HPV DNA test results in Korean women, and analyzed the association of cytology result with transition type. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively reviewed annual HPV DNA test results for 5,274 subjects between January 2005 and December 2012. Each subject had a minimum of five annual tests over the eight-year period. Based on the pattern of results, the transition type for each subject was assigned to one of the following: negative, persistent, latent, transient, and unclassifiable. Associations of cytology results with the HPV DNA transition types, number of positive results, and the durations of positive results were also analyzed. Results: The proportion of abnormal cytology findings decreased in the following order of transition patterns: persistent, latent, transient, and negative. Among transient patterns, a duration of three years or more significantly correlated with cytology results of non-high grade squamous intraepithelial lesion (HSIL; p<0.001). In the persistent group, duration of five years or more correlated with both non-HSIL and HSIL (p<0.001). Latent group showed no correlation with duration. Irrespective of patterns, having five or more positive results was significantly associated with HSIL (p<0.001). Conclusions: Our findings may contribute to better understanding of HPV infection, interpretation of HPV DNA screening results, and prediction of prognosis according to transition type.

한국과 미국의 사서교사 임용 및 자격시험 비교.분석에 관한 연구 (A Comparative Analysis Teachers' Certification and Recruitment Examination System in the Korea and U.S.)

  • 교사는 교육의 성패를 좌우하는 중요한 요소이다. 따라서 대부분의 국가에서는 적정 수준의 자질과 전문성을 갖춘 교사를 학교 현장에 배치하기 위해서 교사 양성과 자격, 임용에 관한 사항을 제도적으로 규정하고 있다. 한국의 경우에는 법령에 의거 교사 자격증을 취득하고, 임용시험을 거쳐 학교에 배치한다. 반면에 미국의 경우 교사자격을 취득하기 위해서는 주교육부와 교사인증기관에서 Praxis 시험을 요구하고 있다. 한국의 교사 임용시험은 1차, 2차, 3차 시험으로 구성되어 있고, 그 중 1차 시험은 교과 전공 지식을 평가한다. 반면, 미국의 교사자격시험인 Praxis는 I, II, III로 구성되어 있고, 그 중 Praxis II는 교과 지식과 교수-학습에 관한 지식과 기능을 평가한다. 본 연구에는 한국과 미국의 사서교사를 위한 자격, 임용 제도를 고찰하고, 한국과 미국의 객관식 시험 문항을 비교 분석하여 발전방안을 모색하였다.

  • This study investigated the propriety and the extension of the term of validity about the using watthour meters at present. The subject of study is 1Cent 2W 220V 30(10)A, 1Cent 3W 110V 30(10)A of model III watthour meters. They are the used metes(products in 1984) and the repaired meters(products in 1977) in the end of the period. The investigation is as follows. o Investigation of external appearance o Driving current test o Creeping test o Noise test o Error test o Durability test. Results of the study have been the number of 13.3% exceeded permitting error and the number of 31.3% failed in endurable test of 500 hours. So, the using meters are not suitable to extend the term of validity without the improvement of several characteristics.

Clean Room Wear의 Prototype 제시를 위한 비교 착용실험 (Comparative Wearing Teat for Suggesting Prototype of Clean Room Wear)

  • This study is to develop the well-fit clean room smocks by wearing test of 2 available clean room smocks and a revised smock. 20 female subjects individually participated in the wearing test. The test procedure consisted of a rating on fit and adaptability and comparative test according to clean room smock types. The summaries of results are as follows : 1. The results of fit and adaptability rating on different clean room smocks showed that the revised type proved the most effective from a viewpoint of fitness and adaptability, 2. As far as the result of comparative test are concerned, most of the subject assessed the revised type is the most comfortable. As for freedom of movement, it is disclosed that the subjects prefer the revised type too.

초등수학에서 계산기 활용의 효율성에 관한 연구 (The Effects of the Use of Calculators in Elementary School Mathematics Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of the use of calculators in elementary school mathematics education. For this purpose, we established the subject matters of the research as folloows; (1) to develop the lesson plan and the students' activity sheet related to the use of calculators. (2) to analyze the effects of the use of calculators when we applied the materials developed. Four classes of sixth grade students were sampled two elementary schools in D city. Two of them were assigned to the calculator group and the others to traditional group. The experiment was conducted for 10 class times. Two kinds of test instruments were used: pretest and post test. The pretest scores guaranteed that both groups were homogeneous. Post-test was used to identify the effect of use of calculator and the post-test scores were analyzed by t-test. We also used questionnaire to identify the students' change of attitude toward mathematics. The results of this study as fellows: (1) The calculator group got scores significantly higher than the traditional group on the test. (2) The students' attitude in calculator group was changed a little positively.
