성취평가제에 대한 중학교 교사의 관심수준 분석 (Analysis on the Middle School Teachers' Level of Interest of Achievement Standards-based Assessment)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of interest in the achievement evaluation system, under the assumption that the teacher is an important element of curriculum. For this study, surveys targeting the 150 middle school teachers from 6 schools in Pusan was conducted. A questionnaire based CBAM model was used as research tools. For data analysis, mean of relative strength by teacher's level of interest was calculated. And MANOVA was used to investigate the difference among level of interest according to teachers' background such as sex, age, career, job position, and the grade they taught. The results of the analysis are summarized as follows. First, the middle school teachers' overall interest for achievement evaluation system is low. Teachers showed a typical pattern appeared in the early stages of change. They have little interest in the achievement evaluation system. And they should try to fix and change the achievement evaluation system rather than cooperate it. Second, as a result of this analysis of the difference according to teachers' background, no significant differences were found in most of the variables. Significant differences were found only in age, career, and job position from step 0. In running the post hoc, teachers who have less careers, lower positions, and younger ages had less interest in achievement evaluation system.

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate the differences in depression, appearance interest, and appearance adornment according to demographic variables, and how to examine degree of make-up and visit to a beauty shop was influenced by depression, and demographic variables. Subjects were 117 elderly women in their 60's to 70's in Jinju, Korea. There was a significant difference in appearance interest according to age. There were significant differences in appearance interest, makeup, and visit to a beauty shop according to education. That is, the high level group of education had a high degree of makeup, and a high interest in appearance than the low level group. There was a difference in appearance interest and makeup according to healthy condition. That is, the good healthy group had a high interest of appearance, and the high degree of makeup than the poor healthy group. The degree of makeup had an effect on appearance interest and education($R^2=.505$). The visit to a beauty shop had an effect depression(-), yes or no of a mate, and allowance($R^2=.192$).

An Engle-Granger and Johansen Cointegration Approach in Testing the Validity of Fisher Hypothesis in the Philippines

  • This study contributes to the existing literature and tries to analyze the validity of the Fisher hypothesis in the Philippines. Using monthly data from January 1995 to December 2020, the empirical analysis used the Engle-Granger and Johansen cointegration testing technique. The correlation coefficient suggests a strong positive association. All things being equal, a rise in inflation leads to a rise in the nominal interest rate. The unit-root tests show that inflation and the nominal interest rate are both stationary. Based on both Engle-Granger and cointegrating regression Durbin-Watson tests, the nominal interest rate and inflation are cointegrated. Likewise, the results from Johansen cointegration indicate that there exists a long-run relationship between the variables. However, we rejected a one-to-one relationship between nominal interest rate and inflation. The error correction term coefficient (ECM) shows that it is statistically significant suggesting that the nominal interest rate adjusts to the inflation rate with a lag. The Pair-wise Granger Causality test reported a bi-directional causal relationship between nominal interest rate and inflation. Inflation targeting has been the monetary policy framework of choice for most central banks. In essence, the conclusions of this study are useful to central banks because they help them better comprehend the long-run equilibrium relationship between the nominal interest rate and inflation.

일부지역 치위생(학)과 학생의 영어 관심도와 불안도에 대한 인식 (The recognition on English interests and anxiety in dental hygiene students)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the influencing factors on English interest and anxiety in dental hygiene students. Methods : A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 1,040 dental hygiene students in six universities in Busan and Gyeongnam from April 1 to 30, 2013. The questionnaire consisted of general characteristics, foreign language performance anxiety scale, and English interest. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-tests, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regressions. Results : Those who travelled abroad tended to have a liking for English. English credits significantly influenced on English interest. and employment. The period of English study was proportional to interest and grade of English. Conclusions : The interest and anxiety for English was the major factor to improve the mastery of English. The dental hygienists must try to improve the mastery of language proficiency.

중학교 가정과 학습지도의 형태에 따른 학습성과에 관한 연구 -식생활 단원을 중심으로- (A Study on the Levell of Learning Achievement by Teaching Method on the Subject of Home Economics in the Middle School)

  • The purpose of this study is to survey the learner’s need achievement, interest and practical level of the learning objectives according to the teacher’s teaching method in home economics of middle school(Dietary Life Unit), to examine the differences according to the local situation, and to get some information to improve the teaching method. This study surveyed the eight units of dietary life with 459 students in the rural community (224 students) and Seoul(235 Students). The collected data were analyzed by T-test, F-test. To sum up this study are as follows: 1. When the need, achievement, interest and practical level of unit “food”are compared the students of seoul with those of rural community, the student of Seoul show high in “The use of Processed Foodstuffs” and low in “Cooking the Processed Foodstuffs.”The student of rural community show in “A kind of Cooking Method”and low in “Environment and Food Life”. 2. The need, achievement, interest, practical level of the whole unit in rural community is higher than those is Seoul. 3. According to teaching method, comparison Seoul with rural community is revealed as follows. Seoul region is revealed significance to discovery learning in “Cooking Foodstuffs(The achievement and interest level) and ”Environment and Food Life”(interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to discussion learning in “The constituent and Food Life”(The need level, interest level). Rural community is revealed significance to explanation learning in “Environment and Food Life”(The achievement level).

가정과 수업의 협동학습이 학생의 교과에 대한 흥미와 태도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Cooperative Learning method in Home Economics on students′Interest and Attitude about Subject matter)

  • The purpose of this study is (1)to develop the teaching plan based on Cooperative Learning approach and (2)to investigate the effect of students'Interest on Subject matter and Teaching method and Attitudes to others of the area of Foreign food in Home Economics class. Among those various types of Cooperative Learning's models, this study adopted 'Learning Together'developed by Johnsons. To investigate these purpose, subject matter were analyzed and reconstructed for Cooperative Learning. The tests were developed to evaluate the interest on the Subject matter and teaching methods, and the attitude to others of the students. 108 femail high school students were divided into two groups with 54 students-traditional learning condition, Cooperative Learning condition-and had a 5 session. The subject of the class was Foreign food including Western, Chinese, and Japanes food. Before and after the class, students were tested. The statistical methods used for the study methods used for the study were t-test. The research findings are as follows : When the students in the Cooperative Learning classes were compared before and after the test, (1)Interest on Subject matter were improved considerably(p〈.001) (2)Interest on Teaching methods were improved considerably(p〈.05) (3)Attitude to Others were improved considerably(p〈.001) Therefore when the teaching-learning model based on Cooperative Liarning was used in Home Economics class, their interest on the subject and teaching methods and attitude to others were improved.

고가구에 대한 현대인의 사회 심리적 관심 요인 분석 (Analysis of Sociopsychological Interest Factors in Antique(Yi-dynasty) Furniture for Modern Living)

  • The objective of this study was to examine antique furniture in the cultural tradition. Through a survey of use and interest in antique furniture for modern living. the methodology included a review of literature in order to determine characteristics of wood furnitures of the Yi-dynasty. A survey of use and interest in antique furniture for modern living was also conducted. The study of interest in antique furniture was limited to five factors of sociopsychological variables : traditional, aesthetic , status symbolic ,economic, and fashionable. Questionnaires were given to the randomly selected men and women in Seoul. Data from 289 respondents were analyzed by $X^{2}$, analysis of variances and correlation. The results were 1) Wood furniture of the Yi-dynasty continued to be of practical usefulness, Antique furniture, therefore, had multiful functional , practical , and aesthetic usefulness in modern living. 2) Interest in antique furniture today was not related to possession or nonpossession, age, and occupation but was related to educational level and socioeconomic status. Suggestions for further research include the study of the organized history of Korean furniture in form, color, materials , and texture. And also included the use additional factors in further research on the study of interest in antique furniture.

A Research on the Necessity of Online Chapel Courses in Korea

  • The objective of this study was to determine the status of current chapel courses and analyze the necessity of online chapel courses. Students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems, and advantages of current chapel courses were examined. Students' preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses were also determined. Finally, hypothesis tests for the differences of students' interest, failure experience, perceived problems and advantages of current chapel courses, preference, intention of sincerity, and perceived effectiveness of online chapel courses according to gender, school year grade, major of study, and religion were performed. Students' low interest in chapel courses was verified. Even Christian students' interest was below 3 points out of 5-point Likert scale. However, students whose religion was not Christianity felt more coercion and had less interest in chapel courses. They wanted virtualization of chapel courses more. They had more willingness to faithful participation in online chapel courses. This research suggests that virtualization of chapel courses as a solution to chapel resistance is dependent on student's characteristics such as religion, major field of study, and mindset.

A Study on Sports Media Interest in Sports Values and Sports Activities

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of college students' interest in sports media on sports values and sports activities. In order to identify the purpose of this study, college students aged 20 years or older living in Jeonnam region in 2021 were selected as the population. A total of 300 subjects (150 males and 150 females) were selected using the convenient sampling method. The survey tool consisted of a questionnaire on a 5-point scale. Also, the collected data were statistically processed using SPSS version 20.0. The results obtained through this research procedure are as follows. First, it was found that college students' interest in sports media had a partial influence on sports values. Second, it was found that college students' interest in sports media partially affected their participation in sports. Third, it was found that college students' participation in sports had a partial effect on sports values.

초, 중, 고 학생들의 과학학습 행동억제체계 및 행동활성화체계와 과학흥미도 조사 및 상관관계 분석 (An Investigation of SL-BIS/BAS and the Interest in Science among Elementary, Middle & High school Students and an Analysis of the Correlation between them)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate a motivation system about science learning and interest in science among elementary, middle & high school students and analyze on the their relations. For this, the questionnaires on interest in science that developed by Kind et al., (2007) were selected and translated. After that, second-grade 80 students, fourth-grade 87 students, sixth-grade 107 students, eighth-grade 123 students and eleventh-grade 128 students were required to accomplish a questionnaire on behavioral inhibition system/behavioral activation system about science learning (SL-BIS/BAS), interest in science. Based on these materials, SL-BIS/BAS by student's variables and relations of between the system to interest in science have been analyzed. The result of this study shows the followings. First, the sensitivity about SL-BIS was no significant difference in School levels. But sensitivity about SL-BAS and interest in science in elementary and high school was higher than it in middle school. Second, there were low negative correlation with SL-BIS and interest in science, and relatively high positive correlation with SL-BAS and interest in science. Through the results of this study, relations of motivation to related variables, and the motivation by student's variables are identified. These results would be helpful for teachers to understand the difference about motivation by students' variables and to make a plan for the appropriate strategies for learners.
