To meet the need for trained work force from the industries, industry-oriented education for students majoring in die & mold in university level is required. If the new university graduates with creativity and high technology could be put right into the work places without training at the work sites, that will lead to remove the wasting factor in education and reinforce the competitiveness of Korea's technology power. Industries would be satisfied with the trained workforce from universities and the rate of employment will be increased. To meet the needs from industries and universities, die & mold design engineering curriculum tailored for industries is developed.

Recently, the interest in Accreditation of Engineering Education, which aims at facilitating the development of engineering education and producing the high calibre of graduates in engineering schools, is increasing. The accreditation requires the students to prepare a portfolio which shows the educational achievements from all courses at the university. In the portfolio, educational activities and outputs of the student are included as a part of the achievements. Particularly, in the portfolio of design-related courses, outputs of the design the student has made until the graduation are accumulated. The outputs enable others to measure the design capability of the student and can be used as important reference materials when applying for employment or graduate school. In this paper, I propose a format of the portfolio for practical exercise courses, engineering design, and undergraduate design and explain the ways of the utilization of the portfolio.

The purpose of this study is to find out significant factors which have effects on the communition styles and adolescents' satisfaction in communication through the investigation of the communication styles between adolescents and mothers and the degree of adolescents' satisfaction in communication. The subjects of this study were 44 high school students in Seoul Statistical methods emploid to analyze the data were percentage, frequency, mean, X2-test, F-test and multiple regression. The results were as follows; 1) The communication styles between adolescents and mothers were divided into 4 grpups, and the proportion of these 4 groups were mutual open style 40.3% mutual closed style 34.5%, adolescent closed-mother open style 13.1% and adolescent open-mother closed style 12.2%. 2) Factors influencing the communication styles were sex (p<.001), communication time (p<.001) and atomosphere of families(p<.001). 3) The degree of adolescents' satisfaction in communication were significantly different depending on the communication style (p<.001), sex (p<.001), communication time (p<.001) educational level of father (p<.05), employment status of mother (p<.05), atomosphere of famlies (p<.001) and economic condition of families (p<.001). 4) The most significant variables influencing the degree of adolescents' satisfaction were communication styles and the atomosphere of families. The groups using open communication styles were more satisfied with their communication that the groups using closed communication styles. The female adolescents were more sensitively influenced than male adolescents with these two variables.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the impacts of business service quality on satisfaction, commitment, performance, and loyalty in higher education. A survey was given to undergraduates involved in business through employment and start-up companies at a private university in Korea. With 252 respondents, this study used exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis to verify the reliability and validity of measured variables. Multiple regression was employed as a statistical method for the hypotheses of the study. The research questions were: 1) How do education SERVQUAL factors (tangibles, responsiveness, reliability, assurance, and empathy) affect customer satisfaction? 2) How do education SERVQUAL factors affect customer commitment? 3) How does customer satisfaction or commitment affect education performance? 4) How does customer satisfaction, commitment or performance affect their loyalty in higher education? The findings show that most dimensions of business service quality have effects on satisfaction and commitment, and satisfaction and commitment have a positive effect on performance. Additionally, satisfaction, commitment and performance all have an effect on loyalty. This study confirmed the need for the improvement of business service quality in a private university. Additionally, it highlighted the importance of user satisfaction, commitment and performance in order to increase the loyalty level of undergraduate students.

A great number of job seekers are referring to job search sites in order to obtain useful information about employment and the number of job search sites is increasing owing to the various needs of the job seekers. The main role of such sites, however, is merely an information provider, and this causes the mismatch between the potential employers and the employees. Therefore, this paper suggests a customized job information system between college students and affiliated companies so as to mitigate the chance of mismatches.

This survey on professionalism and job satisfaction was aimed to analyze the veterinarians' attitude toward their profession and educational needs in Korea. Two hundred and ninety nine completed questionnaires were analyzed for this study. The participants considered nontechnical competences, such as communication skills and ethical decision making skills, important as medical knowledge and skills for veterinarians. There were significant differences in veterinarians' job satisfaction among the subgroups of gender, region, specialty, employment status, and work hours. The factor analysis of adjusted Hall's professionalism scale showed 4 dimensions of Veterinarians' professionalism; belief in self-regulation, belief in public service, using the professional organization as a major referent, and autonomy. Veterinarians' professionalism was significantly related to the job satisfaction. The survey results suggest that the educational program of professionalism should be needed for the professional development of veterinary students and veterinarians.

This study is conducted to suggest ways to mitigate the mismatch phenomenon between job seekers who want to find right company for themselves and companies looking for appropriate new employees. For this purpose, this study improves the company assessment framework reflecting job seekers interests by using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. The improved evaluation framework is a three-level hierarchical structure, where there are 4 groups at the top level, 12 factors at the intermediate level and 36 indexes at the bottom level. For the empirical analysis of the applicants preferences based on the improved model, a survey for F-AHP analysis is carried out to university students and then priorities of components in the evaluation model are calculated. Moreover, the differences of priority of the company assessment framework are analyzed for different genders, college years, and major divisions. The results show that job seekers' most concerning factors are wages, stability, working environments, and labor deal, which are ranked highly in this order and the differences in preferences for each type of job seekers (genders, college years, and major divisions) are obvious. The results also show that the male prefers wages to environment, on the other hand female does working environment to wages.

Vocational education needs to be transformed to cultivate talents with diverse fusion competencies, which is in line with the recent changes that have become a part of the complex technological developments in the 4th Industrial Revolution. Therefore, it is very important for college graduates to obtain employment skills as they are required to prepare for careers within the complex environments of future societies. With the transition to the Internet of Things (IoT)-based control in the manufacturing industry, the development of technological education and related training programs is required to cultivate practical talents for students who have acquired not only the information on existing programmable logic controller (PLC)-based technology, but also that on embedded programming technology. Therefore, to develop an NCS-based education program for analog signal processing to ensure that programming can easily be learned for cultivating practical talent, this study summarizes the opinions of field experts, selects the appropriate NCS competency unit, and designs an adequate technology education training program.

It is necessary to make efforts to resolve complaints such as the mismatch of the labor market and the re-education costs for the new employees by acting as the higher vocational education center of the university. This course introduces the case of developing a practical curriculum based on the competency units presented in the curriculum of the application system that meets the demands of the human resources development and the industrial field demands of the machinery area corresponding to the demand of the industrial society. By analyzing the job duties of industry, it is necessary to develop the new curriculum after grasping the level of demand according to the area, and the importance of the ability to equip as a professional technical manpower and to create high performance is increased. It will help to improve the employment rate of students through the development of field-oriented curriculum.

본 논문에서는 딥러닝을 활용하여 취업준비생들의 데이터에 의하여 취업 가능 여부와 그에 따른 유용한 정보들을 얻기 위한 시스템을 제안한다. 취업 가능성이 성공적으로 평가된다면 예비 사회인, 취업준비생, 대학생들이 미리 취업 준비가 어느 정도 이루어졌는지 본인의 위치를 평가할 수 있으며 강점과 약점을 파악할 수 있을 것이다. 본 연구를 위해 취업생 및 취업준비생 데이터를 포함하는 CSV파일을 생성하였고, 딥러닝을 활용하여 유용한 정보들을 추출해내는데 성공했다. 이를 통해 취업 가능성 예측 프로그램은 취업준비생들과 기업의 인사관리자들에게 커다란 이점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 보인다. 더 나아가 이 프로그램은 기업 구성원들의 업무능력을 평가할 수 있는 프로그램으로도 활용할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.
