The purpose of this research is to improve the writing ability of students by an ideal test model of English writing based on strategies of procedural learning stages enhancing the level of students' writing ability. Assessment of writing in the field of English education has been limited so far to very restricted areas with no appropriate scientific scrutiny. Assessment is really meaningful only when it exactly estimates the ability of students. Since English writing competence has become indispensable in this era of global village, writing instruction should be most emphasized. The most forceful method of busting writing instruction is to utilize the so-called washback effect of testing. So, to develop a good test model of writing, the first thing that is required is to inspect writing strategy in steps and, then, testing itself. First of all, analyzed with a special reference to the 6th high school English curriculum were the goals and contents of the syllabus reflected in one kind of junior high textbook and eight different kinds of senior high textbooks. Then questionnaires on the whole area of writing and tendencies of English writing classes were given to 100 English teachers, 300 students. The results of questionnaires were statistically analyzed. Then, some suggestions and opinions about the questioning method were made: the procedural strategy in steps, English writing instruction and test model of assessment were applied to the syllabus referring to teaching plans. On the bases of the results of the questionnaires, three pretests and a final test of English writing were administered to verify the effect of enhanced English writing competence which had been gradually promoted and, through the promotion, produced the test criteria of English writing. In conclusion, guidance and evaluation of English writing through in steps are really indispensable to increase student's practical ability and, accordingly, we are in need of the development of a testing method of useful writing practiced in school class above anything else. So, it is necessary to further the study on methods to assess writing ability on the bases of participation and fluency of students with their keen interest in English. Also, to intensify the effect of the test model, more accommodating reorganization of syllabus is required in our education. For instance, we need a flexible operation in organizing time units from the current 50 minutes to 100-130 minutes.
The purpose of this study is to describe the mediating effect of career decision level on the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and career preparation behavior of nursing students. The subjects of the study were data collected from 108 nursing students in 3rd and 4th grade and analyzed. The factors affecting career preparation behavior of nursing college students were career decision self-efficacy (β= .54, p<.001) and career decision level (β =.23, p=.009). Career decision-making levels were found to play a partial mediating role in the relationship between efficacy and career readiness behavior (Z=2.49, p=.006). The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to improve the career decision-making self-efficacy and the level of career decision-making for effective career preparation behavior, and it is necessary to develop strategic career guidance and program that reflects this.
The purpose of this study was to investigate gifted students' gender difference in ego state and personality, the characteristics of the functional types and the temperable types in personality traits and relations between gifted students' ego state and their personality traits by Ego-gram test based on Borne's personality theory and MMTIC test based on Jung's psychological theory. The subjects of this study were 230 of gifted students of K Gifted Center, The data analyzed by chi-square, t-test, one-way anova in accordance with each research question. The results of this study can be used as the material data for academic and career counseling and for guidance in students' human relationships. The results showed that there were gender differences in the ego state and personality traits in two dimensions. Second, gifted students showed significant difference from Korean standardization in the functional types and the temperable types of personality. These results showed that there were solid relations between the types of ego-gram and personality of gifted students.
In this paper, we verified the effect and appropriateness of the scheme to cure the math. disliking disposition which is the cause of underachievement in learning. We choose 3 middle schools as the subject of experiment for this research. Each experiment class consists of 27∼30 students(underachievers) whose final test results of 1st school year in the middle school are 30∼60 points. In this case, we also select some middle level students whose test results are more than 60 points for the normal experimental condition. For this research, we developed the suitable test materials to cure the mathematics disliking disposition of underachievers. We applied those test materials to the experiment schools during 2.5 months and we analysed the variation of disliking disposition, the variation of math. dislike students' number and the cure rate of the math. disliking disposition. From the results of this experimental study, we find that the factors of teacher and math recognition environment have only the significant difference of math. disliking disposition between experiment class and comparison class under the 5% significance level in one middle school. We understand that this results caused by teachers' careful advice and guidance in that middle school. We also find that the number of student who dislike mathematics decreased in two middle schools. Furthermore 50% of math. disliking dispositions are cured for 9 disliking factors in the lower grade group(the group of underachievers) and as a whole, we can see that 50% of cure rate for the 7 factors of math. disliking in two middle schools. So we can understand that the experiment of our research was performed successfully in two middle schools. In this research, we find out that the scheme to cure the disliking dispositions for the factors of math. disliking depends on the factors of teacher who take charge of cure. So teachers must take interest in and must have careful concern to students and their math. disliking.
In this study, pre-service science teachers' web-based reflective journals were analyzed. During four weeks teaching practicum, they were guided to post at least two reflective journals in a week on the Web bulletin board system. Finally, 307 web-based reflective journals written by 23 pre-service teachers were selected, and the domain and the level of reflective thinking were analyzed. As a result, pre-service science teachers' reflective journals were mostly related with teaching science, i.e., preparing and reflecting their own instruction, and the frequencies of these domains increased with the process of teaching practicum. Reflective journals about school administrative system, informal teaching practice, student guidance, and personal feeling were also included. The level of reflective thinking of 179 journals about teaching science were analyzed further. There were 53 (29.6%) journals including reflective thinking, but the higher level of reflection (professional reflection and critical reflection) was rare. The perceptions of pre-service science teachers on web-based reflective journal writing were also surveyed.
Objectives: This study was conducted to evaluate the nutrition quotient (NQ) by mother's parenting style which may influence the NQ in preschool children. Methods: Subjects were 310 mothers and their 4-6 year old children. The questionnaire composed of demographic characteristics, mother's parenting style at meal time and eating behavior as measured by NQ questions. The NQ questions consisted of 19 food behavior checklist items and all items were grouped into 5 factors: balance, diversity, moderation, regularity, and practice. Mother's parenting style was classified by using words for nutrition education at meal time. All data were statistically analyzed by SPSS program (Ver. 23) and the statistical differences in variables were evaluated by Student's t-test, ${\chi}^2$-test, One-way ANOVA. Results: We observed that in children whose mothers use the parenting style at meal time of 'explanation' and 'compliment & cheer up' had high dietary regularity, diversity, practice. The children of mothers who use the parenting style at meal time of 'persuasion' and 'reward' were found to have a lower degree of balance, diversity, and practice. Especially, children of 'reward' style mothers had lower moderation of dietary life. On the other hand, among the parenting style at meal time of 'comparison & demand', 'treating' and 'faire', there was no significant difference in the NQ factor by each group. NQ grade was higher among those who used more explanation (p < 0.001) and persuasion (p < 0.01) and with use of less persuasion (p < 0.01) and reward (p < 0.01). The positive association observed between the frequency of dietary education of mothers and higher NQ grade indicated the degree of dietary practices of those children. On the other hand, the children of mothers who rarely practice the dietary education at home had lower NQ grade (p < 0.001). Conclusions: In order to promote children's proper dietary behaviors, it is important to provide nutrition education to children as well as provide guidance on parenting style at meal time.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the counseling services in elementary school, to analyze counseling needs and the degree of distress or worry, and to provide desirable for counseling. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, the questionnaire as a research tool was used for the respondents, 476 elementary school students in Jeollabukdo. The results were as follows: First, there is a shortage of counseling or its guidance, an experienced counselor, and room for the students. Most of the counseling was taken place only when home room teacher thinks counseling is needed. Second, the students wanted a counselor to listen and understand their problems, preferred women teacher as a counselor, and needed personal advice after class. Third, the degree of worry was higher on female students with siblings, single father, Grade 6, and the low scores. Fourth, each area of worry of the elementary school students showed a positive correlation. The results of this study showed that it is needed to reexamine the administrative and institutional contents and develop a variety of counseling program in order to put the counseling in the elementary school to practical use.
This study was conducted to identify the predictors of the choice of regional small and medium hospitals by identifying the job preference, recognition of small and medium hospitals. For this purpose, data were collected from September 2018 to October 2018 for nursing students attending 4 universities in Gwangju and Jeollanam - do, and total of 476 questionnaires were analyzed using the SPSS / WIN 24.0 program. The results showed that 66.0% of nursing students selected region local small and medium hospitals. The factors influencing the choice of region small and medium hospitals were high school region, nursing school performance and recognition of small and medium hospitals. In order to increase the employment rate of nursing students to the region small and medium hospitals, nursing educators should provide personalized career guidance to students who want to work in small and medium hospitals and hospital personnel should establish various public relations activities and marketing strategies to raise recognition of small and medium hospitals.
Unlike behaviors that are generally known, information regarding unspecific behaviors is insufficient. For an education or guidance regarding the unspecific behaviors, collection and management of data regarding the unspecific behaviors of special-needs students are needed. In this paper, a consultation management model based on behavior classification of special-needs students using machine learning is proposed. It collects data by photographing the behavior of special students in real time, analyzes the behavior pattern, composes a data set, and trains it in the suggestion system. It is possible to improve the accuracy by comparing the behavior of special students photographed later into the suggestion system and analyzing the results by comparing it with the existing data again. The test has been performed by arbitrarily applying unspecific behaviors that are not stored in the database, and the forecast model has accurately classified and grouped the input data. Also, it has been verified that it is possible to accurately distinguish and classify the behaviors through the feature data of the behaviors even if there are some errors in the input process.
The purpose of this study is to investigate various opinions on changes and revisions in the Medical Technician Act, to compare the curriculum of radiological technologist and physicians or dentists, and to compare the definitions and scope of work of radiological technologist in Korea and abroad. As a result of this investigation, it is considered that the term "guided by a doctor or dentist" as currently defined in the 'Act on Medical Technicians, etc.' may need to be revised in consideration of the professionalism of the radiological technologist.
