  • Objective: This study investigated how early childhood teachers'creativity and teaching flow was associated with their job satisfaction and examined the mediating effect of teaching flow. Methods: Participants were 222 early childhood teachers in Seoul. Descriptive statistics for all study variables were computed. To examine the hypothesized model and the alternative model structural equation modeling (SEM) was used. Results: The results revealed that early childhood teachers'creativity and teaching flow were positively associated with their job satisfaction. Early childhood teachers'creativity had an influence on their teaching flow, however, it didn't have a direct affect on their job satisfaction. Early childhood teachers' teaching flow had an affect on their job satisfaction. Additionally, early childhood teachers'teaching flow mediated the effects of teachers' creativity on their job satisfaction. Conclusion/Implications: In conclusion, early childhood teachers'teaching flow was a key predictor in the relationship between teachers' creativity and job satisfaction. This study provides guidelines for interventions aimed at increasing the job satisfaction of early childhood teachers.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the relation among mother's rearing attitude in infancy, children's self-concept and the relationship with friends in childhood by using the longitudinal data originated by the Korean Institute for Research in the Behavioral Sciences(KIRBS). Specifically, using Structural Equation Modeling(SEM), the causal relation among the mother's rearing attitude in infancy, children's self-concept and the relationship with friends in childhood were examined across a 8-year-period. The subjects were 68 children(38 boys and 30 girls) from the KIRBS longitudinal data. The results showed that mother's rearing attitude in infancy can be consequential environmental variable factor, and children's self-concept do not play an essential intermediate role between mother's rearing attitude in infancy and the relationship with friends in childhood. This study used a newly attempted method in the field of Human Development.

  • This paper aims to stretch the technology acceptance model (TAM) approach by investigating a clothes rental network. One of the understudied geographies of the world economy is the large-scale international trade in clothes, which are consumed by Chinese consumers. An online (www.sojump.com) survey was conducted by including 303 Chinese respondents. Structural equation modeling (SEM) was used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results indicated that external influence has a significant impact on the perceived ease of rental. Furthermore, consumers' perceived ease of rental influences the attitude towards renting, and perceived ease of rental plays a complete mediating role between them. However, external influence has no significant impact on perceived usefulness, and consumers' perceived usefulness has no impact on rental intention. In addition, attitude towards renting works as an indispensable mediation between perception and behavior. This study highlights the role of perception, attitude, behavior on clothes rental, and provides guidance and suggestions for clothes rental platform.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relations among father attachment/mother attachment, self-competence and ego-resiliency in school aged children. Path analysis was utilized to examine relations among variables. The subjects were 701 school children attended in elementary schools in Daegu and Gyeongbuk Province. The collected data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling(SEM), by the use of SPSS 19.0. and AMOS 19.0 Results indicate that (1) Both of father attachment and mother attachment have not direct effect on ego-resiliency but self-competence has direct effect on ego-resiliency. (2) Father attachment and mother attachment influence ego-resiliency in paths through self-competence. And father attachment influence more on self-competence and ego-resiliency than mother attachment.

  • This study sought to examine the effect of three (distributive, procedural, and interactional) justice perceptions in predicting employees' motivation to participate in training activities. On the basis of theoretical linkages between the constructs, full mediation and partial mediation models by perceived benefits of training were developed. The models were tested using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) on responses from 302 employees of three wireless operators in the Republic of Korea. The results showed the partial-mediation model is a dominant model. It also confirmed that interactional justice directly influence motivation to participate in training, whereas procedural justice influence the variable through perceived benefits of training. Furthermore, limitations and implications of the current study and directions for future work are discussed.

  • A lot of researchers have been interested in the factors influencing the use of mobile phone services. Most of the previous studies, however, verified only the research models developed by the authors. They did not consider which model agrees better with the real situation. This study presents six alternative models based on various previous studies, and compares the data fitness of the models. A Web survey of mobile phone users collected 2,217 cases. Statistical analyses, using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling), show that the fitness of the simplest alternative model is better than that of any other model. The simplest model has no causal relationship among exogenous factors, and proposes that all of exogenous factors have direct impacts on the customer satisfaction. In addition, the analyses say that corporate and brand image and additional service are more important than the other exogenous factors such as communication quality.

  • Recently, many internet users are using mobile music service. In this paper, we aim to examine the effects of system quality factors and relation quality factors on continuance intention in the context of mobile music service. In order to analyze the antecedents of continuance intention, we introduced independent variables such as ease of use, stability, trust, involvement and unity. We also consider customer value and customer satisfaction as mediators. For empirical analysis, we surveyed 240 users of mobile music service. We conduct PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis for SEM (Structural Equation Modeling). As a result, 8 of proposed 12 hypotheses were accepted. Especially, system quality, trust and unity show positive influence on customer satisfaction significantly. Involvement and unity are positively related to customer value. Customer value and customer satisfaction show positive influence on continuance intention significantly. The results of this research can be useful guidelines for mobile music service users and providers.

  • The study examined the relationship between workers' safety awareness, safety performance and the components of the intelligent image analysis system in accordance with preventing the workers from safety hazard in dangerous working area. Based on the safety performance model, we include safety knowledge, safety motivation, safety compliance and safety participation, and we also define three additional factors of the intelligent image analysis system such as functional feature, penalty and incentive by using factor analysis. SEM(Structural Equation Modeling) analyses on the data from the total of 73 workers showed that functional feature of intelligent analysis system and incentive were positively related to safety knowledge and safety motivation. And mediation effects of the relationship were verified to safety compliance and safety participation through safety knowledge as well.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of Perceived Organizational Support(POS) and on Organizational Citizenship Behavior through Organizational Commitment(OC). In order to attain the objectives of this study, a model was established and hypothesis was verified on the basis of preceding studies. In a model proposed for this study, POS was used as antecedents to OC while OCB was used as consequences for OC. The sample included 387 employees. Structural equation modeling(SEM) was used to employed the hypothesized relationships in the conceptual model. Results indicated that (a)POS has a positive impact OC; (b)affective OC has a positive impact OCB; (c)continuance OC has a negative(or zero) impact QCB. Implications are discussed and future research directions are outlined.

  • Social enterprises pursue innovation to create socio-economic impact for the marginalized communities. The founders of social enterprises drive goal-oriented innovation, whereas, interactions with ecosystem is crucial to create and diffuse innovation. However, studies are scant on creation as well as diffusion of innovation emerging from social enterprises. This paper attempts to understand innovation emerging from social enterprises through an exploration of innovation focus, interactions with ecosystem, and measurement of innovation performance. A cross-sectional study is performed to understand the relationship between founders' orientation and innovation performance, and the mediating role of innovation focus and ecosystem interactions. A cluster sampling across four states in India - Karnataka, Telangana, Maharastra and Tamil Nadu - resulted in participation from 207 social enterprises. The results of partial least squared structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) demonstrate the positive complementary mediating role of innovation focus in the relationship between founders' orientation and innovation performance. Moreover, this paper illustrates that founders' persistent focus on innovation creates positive results for social enterprises as well as beneficiaries.
