일 지역 간호대 학생의 셀프리더십, 임상실습 스트레스와 자기노출 (College Women's Self-leadership, Stress of Clinical Practice and Self Disclosure in an Area)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the degrees of and relationships between self-leadership, stress of clinical practice and self-disclosure in a group of college female students. Methods: Data were collected from 258 participants with self-report questionnaires in August, 2011. Results: There were significant differences in the level of 'self-leadership' depending on 'interpersonal relationships', 'application motivation', 'satisfaction with nursing as a major' and 'satisfaction in clinical practice'. And also there was significant difference in the level of 'self-disclosure' depending on 'interpersonal relationships'. But there was no significant difference in the level of 'stress of clinical practice' depending on general characteristics of participants. There were significant correlations between 'self-leadership' and self-disclosure, 'stress of clinical practice' and 'self-disclosure'. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that it is needed to develop diverse programs that can reduce the stress of clinical practice by strengthening the capacity of self-leadership and self-disclosure.

간호대학생의 임상실습스트레스와 도덕적 민감성이 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향 (Effects of clinical practice stress and moral sensitivity on clinical competency in nursing students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to explore how clinical practice stress and moral sensitivity affect the clinical competency of nursing students. Methods: Participants had completed at least a one year (2 semesters) clinical nursing practicum through K University in D Metropolitan City. A total of 188 nursing students were recruited: third grade (n=104) and fourth grade (n=84). The questionnaires were adopted with clinical practice stress, Korean version of moral sensitivity questionnaire (K-MSQ), and the clinical competency. Results: Clinical competency was positively correlated with patient-oriented care (r=.27, p<.001) and the professional responsibility (r=.32, p<.001) of the moral sensitivity (r=.27, p<.001). The attitude of medical personnel experiencing clinical practice stress shows a significant positive relationship with clinical competency (r=.15, p=.038). The attitude of medical personnel (β=.09, p=.194) experiencing clinical practice stress, patient-oriented care (β=.16, p=.041) and professional responsibility (β=.23, p=.003) of the moral sensitivity explained 12% of the variance in clinical competency (F=9.17, p<.001). Therefore, the influential factors on clinical competency were two sub-factors of moral sensitivity. Conclusion: Moral educational programs should be considered to develop a nursing students' clinical competency.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare practice stress and practice satisfaction between clinical practice and simulation-based practice groups. Methods: A total of 159 nursing students (85 in the simulation group and 74 in the NICU group) participated in the study. Research tools measuring practice stress and practice satisfaction were used. Data was analyzed utilizing a t-test, Mann Whitney U-test, and descriptive statistics. Results: The simulation group showed a lower level of practice stress(practice instruction, practice evaluation, interpersonal relationship) a higher level of practice satisfaction compared with the NICU group. Conclusion: Simulation-based practice is an effective learning method for high-risk newborn nursing and can be used as an alternative to clinical practice.

임상실습 스트레스 요인이 셀프리더십에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Relationship between self-leadership in clinical practice and stress)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between self-leadership in clinical practice and stress in dental hygiene majoring students. Methods : Subjects were 250 dental hygiene majoring students in J area from March 20 to April 20, 2012. Data were analyzed using the statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0 for frequency, mean and standard deviation analysis, one-way ANOVA and multiple regression. Results : There were significant differences between Satisfaction and clinical practice, practice and major stress factors(p<0.01). There were significant differences between practices, satisfaction, and self-expectations(p<0.001). The explanatory power of the model was 9%(p<0.05). The combination of self-leadership, activity, interpersonal factors were very important factors and the explanatory power of the model was 8%(p<0.001). Conclusions : Self-leadership is able to decrease stress. Self-leadership is very important in clinical practice in dental hygiene majoring students.

임상실습교육환경이 간호학생의 임상실습 스트레스 및 불안에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Clinical Learning Environment on Clinical Practice Stress and Anxiety in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify factors in the clinical learning environment that affect clinical practice stress and anxiety in nursing students. Methods: Participants were 210 senior nursing students from two universities who had completed their clinical experience. Data were collected from self-report questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS/WIN 21.0 Program. Results: The mean scores for the clinical learning environment, the clinical practice stress, and anxiety were $3.16{\pm}0.68$, $2.98{\pm}0.66$, and $43.74{\pm}10.18$ points, respectively. The regression analysis showed that the clinical learning environment contributed to 13% of the stress and 20% of the anxiety in the nursing students with the conditions controlled for general characteristics, department satisfaction and social support. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that the clinical learning environment should be carefully assessed to reduce nursing students' stress and anxiety from clinical practice. Therefore, collaboration between nursing universities and teaching hospitals is necessary to optimize clinical learning environment.

치위생과 학생들의 감정노동, 회복탄력성 및 임상실습 스트레스와의 융합적 관계 (The Convergence Relationship on Emotional labor, Resilience, and Clinical practice stress in dental hygiene students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 감정노동, 회복탄력성 및 임상실습 스트레스와의 상관성을 파악하고 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향요인을 조사하였다. 자료 수집은 임상실습을 경험한 치위생과 대학생 165명을 대상으로 조사하였고 SPSS 18.0 통계프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 감정노동과 회복탄력성은 음의 관계(r=-.257, p<0.01)를 나타냈고, 임상실습 스트레스와 감정노동은 양의 관계(r=.426, p<0.001)로 나타났다. 치위생과 학생들의 임상실습 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 영향 요인은 감정노동과 학과만족도였다. 설명력은 19.4%의 영향력을 보였다. 이에 치위생과 학생들의 임상실습 스트레스를 줄이기 위하여 임상실습에서 경험하는 감정노동을 줄이고 회복탄력성을 증진시키기 위한 임상실습 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요할 것이다.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence, ego resilience and stress in clinical practice of dental hygiene students. Methods: The data were analyzed by the frequency analysis, t-test, one way ANOVA, and Duncan post-hoc analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis using SPSS 21.0. The subjects were 278 dental hygiene students in a college in Gyeongsangnam-do from June 20 to 30, 2016. Results: Self-emotional appraisal $5.13{\pm}0.94$, Ego resilience $2.69{\pm}0.38$, practice education environment $3.45{\pm}0.65$ were above average. ego resilience was significantly different according to satisfaction with dental hygiene students as a grade, satisfaction in clinical practice. Stress in clinical practice was significantly different according to grade, duration of clinical practice, satisfaction with dental hygiene students as a grade, satisfaction in clinical practice, main tutor in clinical practice. Conclusions: It is necessary to develop the program that can help increase the emotional intelligence, ego resilience, and apply such program to the curricula.

교내임상실습 및 현장임상실습의 참여태도, 만족도, 스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Influencing factors on attitude, stress and satisfaction in clinical practice)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the influencing factors on attitude, satisfaction and stress in clinical practice in dental hygiene students. Methods : The subjects were 304 dental hygiene students living in Suwon. The data were collected from 2012 to 2013 by a self-reported questionnaire. The data were analyzed using SPSS. Results : Clinical practice showed good results in attitude, satisfaction and stress than that in the classroom. Satisfaction in the classroom practice was proportional to clinical practice. The contents, learning management system, and the assessment tool in the classroom influenced on the dental clinical practice. As the dental clinic practice became stressful, the students tended to have negative feelings for the practice. Conclusions : In order to provide the best clinical practice contents to the dental hygiene students, it is important to prepare the best combination of the contents, learning management system, and the assessment tool in the classroom.

치위생(학)과 재학생의 영성이 임상실습 스트레스에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Spirituality on Clinical Practice among Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구는 치위생과 학생들의 영성을 알아보고 영성이 임상실습 시 발생할 수 있는 스트레스에 영향을 미치는가에 대하여 조사하였다. 연구도구는 영성, 임상실습스트레스, 일반적 특성으로 구성하였으며, 설문조사는 K지역에 위치한 치위생과 재학생 280명을 대상으로 2019년 3월부터 7월까지 이루어졌다. 자료분석은 일반적 특성에 따른 영성과 임상실습스트레스의 차이는 t-test, ANOVA를 실시하였으며 영성과 임상실습 스트레스 간의 상관관계는 Pearson correlation coefficients로 분석하였다. 그 결과 치위생과 재학생의 임상실습 스트레스는 영성, 전공만족도, 학과성적과 부적 상관관계가 있었고 학과에 지원한 동기가 성적일 경우 임상실습 스트레스가 다소 높은 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 제한점은 치위생과 재학생의 영성에 대한 선행연구가 미비하여 구체적 비교가 불가능하다는 것이다. 따라서 치위생과재학생에 대한 영성과 임상실습스트레스에 대한 다양한 연구와 이에 대처할 전략적 모색이 필요할 것이라 사료된다.

간호대학생의 간호전문직관에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Nursing Professionalism in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose : In order to respond to the needs of society, it is necessary for nursing students to develop into their professional roles and form a higher degree of positive nursing professionalism. This study investigated clinical practice stress, clinical practice satisfaction, academic major satisfaction, and self-esteem among nursing students, and identified factors influencing their nursing professionalism. Methods : The participants of this study were 200 nursing students who used the internet and e-mail, and who understood the purpose and methods of this study. Data were collected from June 21 to July 27, 2021. Data analysis, including the independent t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression, was performed using SPSS version 26.0. Results : The mean score was 3.52±.47 for nursing professionalism, 2.99±.56 for clinical practice stress, 3.35±.44 for clinical practice satisfaction, 3.75±.55 for academic major satisfaction, and 3.49±.78 for self-esteem. There were no significant differences in nursing professionalism according to general characteristics. Nursing professionalism was positively correlated with clinical practice satisfaction (r=.36, p<.001), academic major satisfaction (r=.57, p<.001), and self-esteem (r=.41, p<.001), but negatively correlated with clinical practice stress (r=-.41, p<.001). Factors influencing nursing professionalism included academic major satisfaction (𝛽=.39, p<.001) and clinical practice stress (𝛽=-.16, p=.021). These variables explained 36 % of variance in nursing professionalism (F=29.43, p<.001). Conclusion : These findings indicate that academic major satisfaction and clinical practice stress could be considered in effective nursing educational interventions to improve nursing professionalism in nursing students. Therefore, multidimensional efforts are needed to establish educational programs for nursing students aiming to enhance their nursing professionalism. In addition, these findings will be helpful for establishing various emotional control programs for the management of clinical practice stress among nursing students.
