강점 관점 집단미술치료가 흡연 남자 중학생의 스트레스, 우울 및 충동성에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Strengths Perspective Group Art Therapy on Stress, Depression, and Impulsivity of Middle School Male Smoking)

  • 본 연구는 강점 관점 집단미술치료가 흡연하는 남자 중학생의 스트레스, 우울 및 충동성에 영향을 미치는지 파악하고자 하였다. 자료 수집은 A시에 소재한 2곳 중학교에서 흡연 대상자 15명을 유의표집 하였고 이 중 미술치료에 자발적인 참여 의사가 있는 실험집단 8명과 그 외 통제집단 7명으로 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 집단의 수가 15명인 점을 감안하여 비모수 검정으로 분석하였으며 Mann-Whitney U test와 Wilcoxon signed ranks test를 실시하였다. 연구결과, 강점 관점 집단미술치료는 흡연 남자 중학생의 스트레스(z=-2.521, p<.05), 우울(z=-2.527, p<.05), 충동성(z=-2.371, p<.05)에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 강점 관점 집단미술치료가 흡연 남자 중학생의 심리적인 안녕감에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 것을 찾을 수 있고 나아가 흡연 중학생의 심층적인 정서상태에 대한 연구도 필요하리라 본다.

아동이 지각한 어머니의 심리통제와 가족의 건강성 및 아동의 심리적 복지감과의 관계 - 성차를 중심으로 - (Adolescent Perspective on Mother's Psychological Controls, Family Strengths and Personal Psychological Well-Being)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze relationships between mother's psychological controls, family strengths, and psychological well-beings as perceived by children. In total, 529 6th graders from Seoul and Buchon participated in the study, Results were as follows: Firstly, gender differences were observed in the awareness of psychological well-beings but not in perception of mother's psychological controls and family strengths. Secondly, the children's awareness of mother's psychological controls and family strengths were correlated with their psychological well-beings the more children were aware of their mother's psychological controls, the less likely they were to be aware of their family strengths and psychological well beings. Finally, children's awareness of family strengths had remarkable influence on their psychological well-being.

재혼가족의 레질리언스 강화를 위한 실천모형 기초연구 (A Practice Model for Strengthening Resilience among Remarried Families)

  • Remarriage has been prevalent in Korea since the mid-1990s. Remarried families have reported that they face many challenges and difficulties. Life for those who remarry can worsen when the children from a previous marriage live together with new family members. It is interesting that some remarried families adjust well while others do not. This study focuses on developing a practice model for strengthening the resilience of remarried families with children based on a literature review. To understand and support remarried families, the resilience perspective was chosen, focusing on a strengths perspective with developmental, ecological, and preventative perspectives. In terms of resilience, the proposed practice model was developed on the basis of three concepts: belief systems, organizational patterns, and communication. The model can be used to help remarried families accomplish adequate integration by growing as a new family and can prevent another divorce. Moreover, it can assist practitioners and policy-makers develop programs and policies with a strengths perspective rather than a deficit or problem-oriented perspective. Based on the model, various programs need to be developed to strengthen the resilience of remarried families. The development of supportive programs is suggested. These can include remarriage preparation programs, remarriage life education programs, interactive web-based programs, and family camps. For a long time, remarried families have been labeled as abnormal and atypical owing to the normal family myth. This negative perception of remarried families must be altered so that they are accepted with a positive outlook in a society. For further studies, the development of diverse supportive adaptation programs for various types of remarried families and active research on them are recommended. The practice model can assist with the adaptation and growth of remarried families by strengthening their resilience.

가족식사의 다차원성과 가족건강성: 학령기 어머니를 중심으로 (The Multiple Dimensions of Family Meals and Their Associations with Family Strengths from the Perspective of Korean Mothers with School-Aged Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the association between family meals and family strengths (cohesion and flexibility) in Korean families with school-aged children. We focused on five dimensions of family meals: frequency, family rituals, communication, rules and roles, and perceptions. Our data came from 619 mothers who were married with at least one child in elementary school. Our multiple regression analyses showed that mothers reported higher levels of both cohesion and flexibility when they gave a higher priority to family meals, made family meals a ritual, had conversations on diverse topics during family meals, or experienced lower levels of meal-related stress. In addition, higher levels of family flexibility were found when a family had more structured rules related to family meals and the father more regularly participated in meal-related housework. This study contributes to the literature by understanding the roles of family meals from a multi-dimensional perspective.

한국인 강점 척도를 기반으로 한 업무 유형에 따른 대표 강점 발현의 차이 (Difference of Expressed Character Strengths, the Type of Work : Classification as Per the Korean Strength Scale)

  • Objective : The purpose of this study was to verify the differences of expressed character strengths graded as per the Korean Strength Scale, based on the type of work. Methods : A total of 2,444 conglomerate workers were classified into two groups: 1,356 office workers and 1,088 production workers. The subjects were examined through a web or mobile application based on the Korean Strength Scale. The Korean Strength Scale consists of a total of four top entries and 25 sub-items with appropriate validity. Results : The difference in the average score of sum of character strengths between the two groups was not significant. In the office worker group, character strengths such as love of learning, creativity, perspective, curiosity, facilitation, judgment and faith had significantly high scores. On the other hands, modesty, hope, gratitude, sincerity, magnanimity and self-regulation were high in the production worker group. The results remained unchanged in additional analysis of covariants as sex, age and education level, except for self-regulation and faith. Conclusion : Our results suggest significant differences in the character strengths between the two types of work; however, the average of sum of character strength score remains unchanged. These results may help to understand differences between work environments and thus help to establish a positive foundation.

가족중심실천이 아동의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 -가족강점의 매개효과 분석- (The Effect of Family-Centered Practice on Children's Self-Efficacy -An Analysis of the Mediating Effect of Family Strengths-)

  • 본 연구는 가족중심실천이 아동의 자기효능감에 미치는 영향을 탐색하고, 가족중심실천의 일차적 대상이 되는 가족강점의 매개효과를 검증함으로써 가족중심실천의 성과를 확인하고, 실천 함의를 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 분석은 삼성과 사회복지공동모금회 기획사업인 우리아이 희망네트워크 지원 사업에 참여한 아동과 주 양육자가 작성한 서비스 평가 자료를 기초로 다중회귀분석을 활용한 매개분석을 하였고, 연구모형검증을 위해 Sobel test를 하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가족이 경험한 가족중심실천에 대한 평가는 상당히 높아 가족중심실천이 충실히 이루어지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 가족중심실천에 참여한 아동의 자기효능감과 가족강점 수준의 사업 참여 전후를 비교해 보면 둘 다 참여 후에 유의하게 향상하였다. 셋째, 가족강점은 가족중심실천과 아동 자기효능감 간의 관계에서 완전매개효과를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 가족중심실천은 아동의 자기효능감에 가족강점을 매개로 간접적인 영향을 미쳤다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 아동복지 영역에서 강점관점에 기반을 둔 가족중심실천의 필요성과 좀 더 효과적인 실천을 위한 방안을 제언하였다.

여성 한부모의 자립 경험과 강점 자원에 대한 연구 : 사별, 이혼, 미혼모 가족 비교를 중심으로 (A Study on experiences of self-reliance and strengths of single mothers: A comparative study of widowed, divorced and unmarried single mother families)

  • 본 연구는 한부모 가족 발생 유형, 즉 사별, 이혼, 미혼 한부모의 삶의 어려움과 이를 극복하고 자립하는 과정, 자립의 과정에서 작용하는 강점을 비교 탐색하는 데 목적이 있다. 강점은 강점관점의 틀을 중심으로 개인, 환경적, 삶의 요소 차원으로 분석하였다. 세 유형의 한부모 가족의 자립 경험, 강점 자원의 공통점과 차이점을 살펴봄으로써, 자립에 도움이 될 수 있는 보편적 제반 조건들을 파악함과 동시에 각 유형의 독특성을 확인하는데 의의가 있다. 이를 위해 사별 4사례, 이혼 8사례, 미혼모 8사례로 총 20사례를 심층 면접하였다. 연구 결과, 세 유형 모두에게 자립은 하나의 완결된 사건이 아니며, 엄마로서 주어진 책임을 다하기 위하여 그 힘을 갖추어나가는 과정으로서의 자립을 의미하였다. 힘을 갖추는 것은 경제적 자립을 위한 힘을 갖는 것뿐 아니라 자신의 삶에 대한 수용, 통제감 갖기, 자기 개발을 통해 역량강화되며 심리사회적 힘을 갖는 것을 의미하였다. 이들의 자립 경험과 강점 분석을 통해 자립 과정에 중요한 공통 자원과 경험의 독특성, 차이점 등을 확인 할 수 있었다. 연구결과를 토대로 한부모 가족을 위한 서비스 전달체계의 기능과 제도적 지원에 대한 실천적 정책적 함의를 제시하였다.

PRA: A PERSPECTIVE ON STRENGTHS, CURRENT LIMITATIONS, AND POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS

  • Probabilistic risk assessment (PRA) has been used in various technological fields to assist regulatory agencies, managerial decision makers, and systems designers in assessing and mitigating the risks inherent in these complex arrangements. Has PRA delivered on its promise? How do we gage PRA performance? Are our expectations about value of PRA realistic? Are there disparities between what we get and what we think we are getting form PRA and its various derivatives? Do current PRAs reflect the knowledge gained from actual events? How do we address potential gaps? These are some of the questions that have been raised over the years since the inception of the field more than forty years ago. This paper offers a brief assessment of PRA as a technical discipline in theory and practice, its key strengths and weaknesses, and suggestions on ways to address real and perceived shortcomings.

가정 복지의 생태학적 접근 (An Ecologcial Approach to the Study of Family Welfare: A Review of Literature)

  • The primary purpose of the study was to review both domestic and international literature and intervention programs designed from an ecological perspective in dealing with issues on family welfare. This study cites several research evidence that indicates why an ecological model is a relevant alternative to investigate issues in family welfare. The strengths of the ecological approach and limitations of the present study were discussed. Suggestions for future research were made based on the review of literature.

창의성 관점에서 본 제 7차 초등 수학과 교육과정: 규칙성과 함수를 중심으로 (Mathematical Creativity and Mathematics Curriculum: Focusing on Patterns and Functions)

  • The present study examined the 7th national elementary school mathematics curriculum from a perspective of mathematical creativity. The study investigated to what extent the activities in the Pattern and Function lessons in the national elementary school mathematics textbooks promoted the development of mathematical creativity. The results indicated that the current elementary school mathematics curriculum was limited in many ways to promote the development of mathematical creativity. Regarding the activities in Pattern lessons, for example, most activities presented closed tasks involving finding and extending patterns. The lesson provided little opportunities to explore the relationships among various patterns, apply patterns to different situations, or create ones own patterns. In regard to the Function lessons, the majority of activities were about computing the rate. This showed that the function was taught from an operational perspective, not a relational perspective. It was unlikely that students would develop the basic understanding of function through the activities involving the computing the rate. Further, the lessons had students use exclusively the numbers in representing the function. Students were provided little opportunities to use various representation methods involving pictures or graphs, explore the strengths and limitations of various representation methods, or to choose more effective representation methods in particular contexts. In conclusion, the lesson activities in the current elementary school mathematics textbooks were unlikely to promote the development of mathematical creativity.
