We examine several citation information services to analyze their functional items and resources as interests and concerns on citation information services have been increasing. Based on our analysis, we suggest a blueprint and model for national citation information services. As a result, We find that there are different service items and resources among the type of the citation information services. We also suggest three principles and personal services scenarios for developing national scholarly information service using citation information. And expert survey shows the priority of the services. This study would be a fundamental material for drawing big pictures on national citation information services.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affected the number of citations for articles published in the Journal of Korean Society of Dental Hygiene based on previous studies. Methods: Information on papers including the number of citations was collected using a web crawling technique. The effect of the number of author keywords, the number of Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) keywords, MeSH match rate, abstract word count and keyword-abstract ratio on the number of citations was analyzed by multiple regression analysis. Results: The use of the MeSH keyword did not have a significant effect on the number of citations. Among the other factors, only the keyword-abstract ratio was statistically significant. Conclusions: Select a topic of constant interest in the field, write the title in detail using colons or asterisks if necessary, and do not repeat the words used in the title in keywords. Select specific keywords deeply related to the topic. In particular, choice words or phrases that are frequently used in the abstract. If the MeSH keyword selection contradicts the previous strategies, boldly give up the MeSH keyword.

The more importance of international collaboration has increased, the more studies on statues of international collaboration are increasing. However, few studies have attempted to identify the international collaboration. This article aims at a multidirectional characterization of the international collaboration in the field of Computer Science by analysis of articles published in the SCOPUS database. We applied Probabilistic Affinity Index(PAI) and Indicator of Collaboration Strength(ICS) for measuring the intensity of scientific collaboration among countries, and index of Incremental Citation Impact(ICI) for measuring the quality of international collaboration. These analyses identify the trends of international collaboration in the field of Computer Science and it's effect by nation.

Although patents have mainly been considered as the results of the invention process, of late their value as strategic assets have increasingly been emphasized. Consequently, the competition for patents among firms has intensified, and the number of patent disputes have been steadily increasing. Patent disputes, which cause enormous expense and resource utilization, increase uncertainty and have been considered as a threat or problem for the firms involved. Patent disputes are expected to have a significant impact on the decision making about subsequent innovation activities. This study attempts to analyze the effect of patent disputes on the subsequent innovative activities of the firms that are sued. After experiencing litigation as defendants, we examine their subsequent patenting strategies. According to the results of the study, firms who are experiencing patent litigation are more likely to achieve high-quality patents and cite recent technology when they apply for patents. Meanwhile, patent litigation experience has been shown to negatively affect the amount of subsequent patents applied. This study increases understanding by examining whether patent disputes, which have been mainly recognized negatively as obstacles, can be an opportunity that comes during a crisis.
