실버세대 여성의 의복 디자인 선호도 - 60대 이상을 중심으로 - (Clothing Design Preference of Silver Generation Women - Focus on Age 60 and More -)

  • This study was conducted for silver generation women, age 60 and more. Questionnaire was answered by the total 291 of women. Frequency analysis, t-test, ANOVA and Duncon-Test have been completed by using SPSS 12.0 tool. The conclusion of the study is below. First, silver generation women live in Seoul and South Gyeongsang Province. The data shows huge academic background gab among regions. Second, the following is the preferences found by 15 stimulants which expert groups identified based on demography. People in South Gyeongsang Province like default, tailored, three-button jacket more. People in South Gyeongsang Province prefer to Chanel jackets and people in their 70s prefer to it than in 60s, stand collar casual jacket for color and material, and the less they are educated, the more they like the jackets. And those who have less personal expenses tend to prefer to it. South Gyeongsang Province shows preference for semi polo-neck sweater. Highly educated did not show any preference for it. Women in their 70s tend to like blouses with round neckline. The data shows there is significant difference of preference for design, color and material for coloration vest between education levels. The less educated tends to like it. People in South Gyeongsang Province and those who live with their children are in favor with half sleeve jackets for colors and materials. All in Seoul and South Gyeongsang Province do not like three-quarter-length sleeve jackets because those jacket have wide and deep plunging neckline. The study showed people living in Seoul, in their 60s, highly-educated tend to favor polo shirts significantly. Seoul favor basic straight pants and people with any level of education excluding elementary prefer to it. The highly-educated and those who have a bigger allowance tend not to prefer to baggy trousers. In conclusion, Fifteen incentives (clothing design) for semi polo-neck sweaters, polo t-shirts, basic straight pants are more proper to silver generation women in their 60s, living in Seoul. Other designs are desirably applicable to customers on a national scale at middle prices.

교통사고 후 응급실에 내원한 경항통 환자의 경추 만곡 연구 (The Cervical Spine Curvature of Posterior Neck Pain Patients Who Visited Emergency Room After Whiplash Injury by Traffic Accident)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the cervical spine curvature after whiplash injury by traffic accident. Methods : The cervical lateral radiographs of 102 outpatients who visited emergency room in Kyung-Hee university hospital at Gangdong after whiplash injury by road traffic accident were reviewed to measure the cervical spine angle using C1-7, C2-7 Cobb method, Sagittal tangent method, Jochumsen method and the Ishihara index by two oriental medical doctors. For statistics, we used SPSS version 17.0 for windows. Results : Means of cervical angle are $37.63{\pm}11.34^{\circ}$, $12.92{\pm}9.13^{\circ}$, $16.19{\pm}10.62^{\circ}$, $1.78{\pm}3.37$ and $8.51{\pm}9.78$ by C1-C7 Cobb Method, C2-C7 Cobb Method, Sagittal tangent method, Jochumsen method and Ishihara index, respectively. Hypolordosis is most numeral in patients by C1-C7 Cobb Method(n=40; 39.22%), Sagittal tangent method(n=68; 66.67%). And Straight is the most by Jochumsen method(n=54; 52.94%), but Normal is the most by Ishihara index(n=53; 51.96%). And Female has smaller curvature in cervical spine than male significantly by C2-C7 Cobb method and Sagittal tangent method(P<0.05). Conclusions : Whiplash injury tends to make hypolordosis or straight. And female has more vulnerable curvature than male in whiplash injury.

New Landmark for the Endoscopic Endonasal Transsphenoidal Approach of Pituitary Surgery

  • Objective : To clarify the anatomical correlations of the sphenoid sinus with surrounding structures in the normal Korean population, and to identify surgical landmarks for safe sellar floor dissection in the anterior skull base by endoscopy and microscopy. Methods : We reviewed the 196 brain magnetic resonance imaging findings showing a normal appearance, and measured the distances between anatomical landmarks. Results : The mean distances from the base of the columella to the anterior wall of the sphenoid sinus and the sellar floor were $69.71{\pm}4.25$ mm and $86.26{\pm}4.57$ mm, respectively in the over 15 age group, and showed the smallest degree of variation among the measurements. The mean angles between the floor of the nasal cavity and the straight line connecting the base of the columella and the sellar floor were $29.45{\pm}3.25^{\circ}$ and $24.75{\pm}4.00^{\circ}$ in the over 15 and under 15 age groups, respectively. The mean values of both distances and angles increased with age until 15 years after which no further increases were evident. There were no significant differences in the measurements between males and females or among subjects with different degrees of pneumatization in the over 15 age group. Conclusion : The distances from the base of the columella to the sellar floor and the anterior wall of the sphenoid sinus, which were consistent among individuals, could be used as a surgical indicator to investigate the sellar floor in endoscopic or microscopic transsphenoidal approaches.

Acupuncture treatment of torticollis in a foal

  • A 6-month-old thoroughbred filly foal had torticollis and circled towards the right side. A local veterinarian treated her twice using dexamethasone for 1 week but there was little clinical improvement. Needles were inserted into Ting points of both hind limb and one ocular acupoint (shang jiao area from GB01). Injection acupuncture (dexamethasone, twice/week) was used at GV16, GB20, BL10 and LU07, for the neck and head. Acupoint GB34 was added to those points at session 4. In addition, a trigger point in the left neck was injected with 0.2 ml ($200{\mu}g$ of apitoxin) of bee-venom diluted with 1 ml of 2% lidocaine from session 1 to session 3. At session 2, the symptoms had ameliorated a little. At session 3, they were much improved; the right ear was completely normal and the neck could be moved about 60% of normal range. At session 4, nodding was possible and stiffness of the neck was much improved, having returned to about 80% of normal range. Three days after session 4, the symptom of torticollis had disappeared completely and the foal could walk in a straight line. In conclusion, the present patient was a case with equine torticollis which showed favourable therapeutic response by combination of needle-acupuncture plus injection-acupuncture with dexamethasone and apitoxin.

지대주 각도와 연결방식이 지르코니아 지대주의 파절강도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of abutment angulation and type of connection on the fracture strength of zirconia abutments)

  • 목적: 내부 연결형과 외부 연결형의 임플란트에서 직선형과 경사형 지르코니아 지대주의 파절강도를 비교하였다. 재료 및 방법: 내부육각 연결형 임플란트 20개와 외부육각 연결형 임플란트 20개에, 기성 직선형 지르코니아 지대주와, $17^{\circ}$ 경사형 지르코니아 지대주를 10개씩 체결하였다. 시편은 연결 방식과 지대주 각도에 따라 4개의 군으로 나누었다: 내부 연결형/ 직선형 지대주, INS군; 내부 연결형/ 경사형 지대주, INA 군; 외부 연결형/ 직선형 지대주, EXS 군; 외부 연결형/ 경사형 지대주, EXA 군. 모든 시편은 만능시험기에서 1 mm/min의 crosshead speed로 $30^{\circ}$ 하중을 가했다. 지대주의 파절강도를 측정하고, 2-way ANOVA와 independent t-test로 통계처리 하였다(${\alpha}=.05$). 결과: 각 군의 평균파절강도는 다음과 같다: INS군, 955.91 N; INA군, 933.65 N; EXS군, 1267.20 N; EXA군, 1405.93 N. 외부 연결형이 내부 연결형에 비해 파절강도가 높았다(P < .001). 내부연결형(P = .747)과 외부 연결형(P = .222)에서 지대주 각도에 따른 파절강도는 차이가 없었다. 또한 내부 연결형 지대주는 육각 부위에서 수평 파절이 일어난 반면, 외부 연결형 지대주는 설측 치경부에서 파절되었다. 결론: 외부 연결형 지르코니아 지대주가 내부 연결형 지대주에 비해 파절 강도가 높았고, 직선형과 경사형 지르코니아 지대주의 파절강도는 차이가 없었다.

비골 동맥 천공지 피판의 혈관 해부학 (Vascular Anatomy of Peroneal Perforator Flap)

  • Materials and Methods: We studied 50 cases of peroneal perforating branch about branching pattern, course, length of vascular pedicle, and perforating level of the perforating cutaneous branches from Oct. 1985 to November 2003 by doppler flow meter and intraoperative findings. Results: 1) The perforating cutaneous branches were classified into four types, the Straight Branch (27cases), the Proximal Oblique Branch (11cases), the Branch from Muscular Artery (10cases), the Distal Oblique Branch(2 cases) respectively. The most common patten was Straight Branch, that was 54%. 2) There were 3 pathways of these branches, the most common one passed between the Soleus and Peroneus muscles(34 cases, 68%) 3) The length of vascular pedicle in Buoy Flap was variable from from 3 cm to 15 cm, but 32 cases(64%) were distributed between 5 cm and 6 cm. 4) The perforating level of branches were 5.9 cm in average from fibular neck to subcutaneous perforator artery 5) Peroneal Buoy Flap in possible to reconstruct both seperated bone and skin defect in some distance by One-Stage Operation and we can harvest maximal $8{\times}16cm$ sized flap in one perforating artery. If we include more two perforating artery, we get more wide flap which can cover large defect.

20대 후반 여성의 상반신 뒷면 형상에 따른 저고리 원형 개발 (Jeogori Pattern Development for Female in Late 20s According to Shape of Upper Back)

  • Even though a Han-bok, or traditional Korean costume, should be inherited since it is invaluable part of our culture, research on Han-bok is scarce. Since the development of a Jeogori pattern, the upper garment of Korean traditional clothes, is done mostly based on the chest size, the design does not completely consider on wearer's body shape. Moreover, unless made by an expert, trial and error is almost always necessary to improve the fit of the clothes. In this research, a Jeogori pattern was suggested that improves the fit based on the shape of the upper back(straight or bent) of a female in her late 20s who often wears a Han-bok and is comfortable when moving. Using a 3D virtual clothing system, the optimum pattern was selected based on the body shape. The final selection was made, and each subjects tried the garment on to evaluate the comfort when moving, along with its appearance, based on a seven point Likert scale. As a result, for a straight body shape, the optimum ease for the front bust width was 2.5cm, and that for the back bust width was 2.0cm. The optimum center back dart was 1.0cm. The optimum Geodae width was 7.6cm, and the optimum back Geodae point was 2.0cm. For the bent body shape, the optimum ease for the front and back bust was 2.0cm. The optimum Geodae width was 8.4cm, and the optimum back Geodae point was 1.5cm. Furthermore, if the Hwajang slope was set at half of the vertical distance between the laterals of the neck and shoulder, a fitted silhouette appeared, which is preferred nowadays. In the appearance evaluation, the final pattern designed in this research received higher scores than the original design(straight; p<.001, bent; p<.05). The results of the evaluation of the comfort when moving also showed higher scores for the final pattern that was designed.

경추만곡도를 이용한 두개하악장애에 환자의 두경부자세에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Head and Neck Posture Related to Cervical Curvature in Patients with Craniomandibular Disorders)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the head and neck postre and the cervical curvature, especially in forward head postrue(FHP). Sixty patients with craniomandibular disorders and thirty dental students without any signs and symptoms of craniomandibular disordres participated in this study as patient groups and sa control group, respectively. The author evaluated the head and neck posture of all subjects by plumb line and CROM( Cervical Ragne of Motion), and had taken cephaograph in natural head position. On the cephalograph the angle of cervical inclination formed by true horizntal plane and 4th cervical vertebra(C4) and the radius of cervical curvature from C1 to C5 were measured. A specially designed ruler was used for measuring cervical curvature. Occlusal contac number and force with T-scan system, electromygraphic activity of cervical muscles with Bio-EMG, and distance of freeway space with Bio-ECN were recorded, respectively. The collected data were processed by SAS/STAT progrm. The obtained results were as follows : 1. In subjects with longer radius which was less cervical curvature, head positioned more anteriorly than subjects with smaller radius, and they showed slightly straight cervical vertebra. 2. Between the patients and the control group, there were no differences in cervical curvature, in forward head position by plumb line and in CROM. But the patient group had a greater cervical inclination than the control group had. 3. There were positive correlation between cervical curvature and forward head position by plumbline,between forward head position y plumb line and that by CROM in patient group. The cervical inclination, however, had negative correlation with cervical curvature, and with forward head postion by plumb line, respectively. 4. In case of showing more cervical curvature and more forward head position by plumb line the head position was defined as forward head posture. In patient group, subjects without forward head posture showed greater posterior teeth contact force than subjects with forward head posture, but in control group, there were no difference between the two subjects. 5. There were higher electromyographic activity in almost all muscles and smaller freeway space in induced forward head posture than those in natural head position in subjects without forward head posture. In conclusion, head position of patients with craniomandibular disorders were not more anterior than that of normal control person, but they had tendency to head extension. From the result of this study, forward head posture could be defined as posterior rotation of upper cervical segment with a straight lower cercial segment due to loss of normal lordosis.

칼라밴드가 있는 셔츠칼라 패턴에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Shirt Collar with Collar Band)

  • This study aims to help understanding on design of basic pattern of shirt collars and to suggest schemes to raise completeness of shape by reviewing problems shown in finished products after sewing. From March 2009 to August 2009, 12 patterns for education and firms were collected centering on basic shirt collar form respectively. There are four problems generally raised from a completed shirt collar. In case of overlapping shirt collar on front neck point, the sewing point of shirt collar should be drawn at front neck point of collar band at a distance of about 0.2~0.3cm, and the center front of band and one of bodice should be arranged in a straight line. In case of the problem about right and left length difference of shirt collar, it is raised by closing so the problem was solved by prolonging about 0.2 cm of the center front of left collar. It was evaluated that adjusting notch point when sewing would be more rational solution than solving something on patterns for distance difference problem of shirt collar between right and left part at center front. And a problem about getting loose of front garment between collar band below and the first button was also raised. It was designed 0.2cm cut of collar band. Around basic shirt collar form, above mentioned solutions are applied to the patterns for education and manufacture experimental clothing. So as a result of sensory evaluation, generally good ratings on all items were received.

식도천공을 초래한 식도이물 (Esophageal foreign body with esophageal perforation)

  • 식도이물에 의한 식도천공은 날카로운 이물에 의한 예가 대부분이며 드물게 이물의 장기잔류에 의한다. 저자들은 8개월된 소아에서 한쪽 끝이 낚시모양으로 된 길이 20cm 굵기 3mm 정도의 철사를 연하하여 낚시 모양의 끝은 제1 식도협착부에서 식도를 천공하고 경부 좌측의 종창을 초래하였으며 철사의 반대쪽 끝은 입밖으로 나와 있는 흥미있는 식도이물 1례를 경 청하였다. 식도경검사하에서 이물제거를 시도하였으나 실패하여 경부절개하에 낚시모양의 끝은 잘라서 제거하고 나머지는 식도경검사하에 제거한 후 약 4주일동안 금식 및 tube feeding으로 치유되었다.
