소형 수축열식 전기 보일러의 성능 평가에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Valuation of Small Size Water Storage Electric Boiler)

  • We was made 150L an water storage electric boiler and obtained various performances of the storage, radiant and keeping by experimentation, The storage performance is that the heat were off about 50 minutes after heating start, Then the temperature of outlet was arrived the stead state at $91^{\circ}C$ and the storage performances was appeared 93.64%, In the radiant performance, the water temperature was decreased from $90^{\circ}C$ to $44.8^{\circ}C$ after 960 minutes, Then the calorific value changed from 675kcal/h to 72kcal/h and the temperature decreased about 50%, The keeping performance showed mean temperature, $67.06^{\circ}C$ according to progress 800 minutes and the maximum temperature drop were $0.2^{\circ}C$, By the results of the performance valuation, the water storage electric boiler was verified fitted quality on the test prescription of KERI(Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute).

밤의 품질안정성에 대한 저장 온.습도 조건의 영향 (Effect of Storage Temperature and Humidity on the Quality Stability of Chestnuts)

  • Chestnuts(Castanea cretana, Eunki) were used for quality evaluations from the physiological and physicochemical points of view during storage under different temperatures and relative humidities for 8 months. Quality criteria included spouting, rotting, weight loss, and the changes in moisture, total sugar, reducing sugar, and total vitamin C of the stored sample. Sprouts(roots) were developed in about 2 months in all stored samples which had been mixed with sawdust(50% moisture) and stored under the conditions of 2∼25$^{\circ}C$ and 62∼95% RH. The sprout development was more significant in the storage temperature of Pit(9${\pm}$6$^{\circ}C$, 80${\pm}$5% RH, PT)and room(16${\pm}$7$^{\circ}C$, 85${\pm}$10% RH, RT) than low(3${\pm}$1%, 80${\pm}$5% RH, LT)and ambient(14${\pm}$11$^{\circ}C$, 67${\pm}$5% RH, AT). The rates of rotting and weight loss were appreciable in the order of PT, AT, RT and LT, and those of LT were 1∼2%. The use of wet sawdusts resulted in the increase of moisture contents in stored samples, thereby causing the rotting phenomena. Some chemical components of stored samples were found liable to the changes according to storage conditions, that is; total sugars showed a decreasing tendency along with a temporary increase during storage, and both reducing sugar and vitamin C were similarly accumulated in the samples stored at low temperature conditions. The results indicated that long-term storage of chestnuts will be possible in either cases of the application of low temperature following sprout-inhibition treatment or the use of lower temperature than 0$^{\circ}C$ to suppress its sprouting during storage.

Development of Long-Term Storage Technology for Chinese Cabbage - Physiological Characteristics of Postharvest Freshness in a Cooler with a Monitoring and Control Interface

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop long-term storage technology for Chinese cabbage in order to extend the period of availability of freshly harvested products. The scope of the paper deals with the use of a cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface in conjunction with use of packaging film. Methods: A cooler with a real time monitoring system was designed as a low-temperature storage facility to control temperature and relative humidity (RH). The effects of storage in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic boxes, 3% chitosan dipping solution, polypropylene film (PEF) with perforations, and mesh packaging bags on physiological responses were investigated. The optimal storage temperature and humidity for 120 days were below $0.5^{\circ}C$ and 90%, respectively. Physiological and biochemical features of cabbage quality were also analyzed: weight loss, texture, and sugar salinity, chlorophyll, reducing sugar, and vitamin C contents. Results: The cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface could be operated by an HMI program. A $0.5^{\circ}C$ temperature and 90% humidity could be remotely controlled within the cooler for 120 days. Postharvest freshness of Chinese cabbages could be maintained up to 120 days depending on the packaging method and operation of the remote monitoring system. In particular, wrapping the cabbages in PEF with perforations resulted in a less than a 5% deterioration in quality. This study provides evidence for efficient performance of plastic films in minimizing post-harvest deterioration and maintaining overall quality of cabbages stored under precise low-temperature conditions with remote monitoring and a control interface. Conclusions: Packaging with a modified plastic film and storage in a precisely controlled cooler with a remote monitoring and control interface could slow down the physiological factors that cause adverse quality changes and thereby increase the shelf life of Chinese cabbage.

창평쌀엿의 저장온도에 따른 품질특성의 변화 (Changes in Quality Attributes of Chang-pyung Yeot (taffy-like foods) with Storage Temperature)

  • 창평쌀엿의 최적 품질유지 조건을 찾고저 저장온도에 따른 관능검사, puncture force의 측정, 단면의 모양 변화 및 색도의 변화 등을 실험하고 종합 분석하여 본 결과 저장온도 $10^{\circ}C$까지는 품질의 변화를 찾기 어려웠다. $15^{\circ}C$ 이상에서는 품질특성이 나빠지기 시작하며 1주일 후에는 엿끼리 서로 들어붙기 시작하였다. 저장온도 $15^{\circ}C$ 이상에서는 각각의 엿이 서로 들어붙고, 먹을 때의 느낌도 좋지 못하며 치아에 들어붙어서 창평 쌀엿의 고유한 품질특성을 상실하였다. 따라서 창평쌀엿 고유의 품질을 최적상태로 유지하기 위한 한계 온도는 $12{\sim}13^{\circ}C$로 추정되었다.

태양열이용 하이브리드 열펌프시스템의 성능특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Performance Characteristics on Hybrid Heat Pump System with Solar Energy as Heat Source)

  • Interests on renewable energy are increased due to oil price and environmental problems aroused from the fossil energy usage. In this study, performances of a solar assisted hybrid heat pump system are analyzed by experimental method. The developed system could runs at two types of operating mode. When the storage temperature is higher than the set temperature, the stored hot water in storage tank is supplied to the load directly. On the other hand, when the storage temperature lower than the set temperature, the water inside of the storage tank is used as heat source of the heat pump. In this study, the system control temperature for the alternation of the operating mode is set to $40^{\circ}C$ of the storage tank outlet. As results, it is founded that the COP of the developed heat pump system shows between 3.0 and 3.5. It is resonable performance for the heating system with a renewable energy as secondary heat source. The solar collect used in this study could supplies heat to the storage tank at over 400 W/m2 solar intensity. If the irradiation is lower than the 400 W/m2, the circulation pump stored and it could not supply heat to the storage tank. It is found that the difference temperature between the outlet of the storage tank and collector is $3^{\circ}C$. Even though, the extended study should be conducted to get a optimum performance of the developed system with various operating condition and control strategies.

원통형 축냉조내 구형캡슐들의 축냉에 관한 실험 연구 (Experimental Study on the Cold Storage of Spherical Capsules in the Cylindrical Tank)

  • The present work was performed to axially and radially investigate the local cold storage performance in the cylindrical tank with the spherical capsules inserted n-Tetradecane as a new cold storage material. The local cold storage performance of the capsules in the tank was experimentally investigated for the inlet temperature of -7, -5, -3, 0.deg. C, for the flow rate of 0.95, 1.89, 2.84, 6.00 l/min, and for the diameter ratio of 4.9, 9.0, 13.1. The local cold storage performance in the case of using water applied for the commercial ice-ball system was axially investigated by changing the flow rate only with the inlet temperature of -7.deg. C and the diameter ratio of 9.0 in order to compare with the performance in the case of using n-Tetradecane. For the case of using n-Tetradecane, the difference of cold storage period between the first and the seventh story was increased as the inlet temperature was increased and the flow rate was decreased. The capsules at the center of the tank showed the supercooling and the increased cold storage period compared with the capsules at the wall of the tank due to the small porosity and insufficient cold storage performance at the center of the tank as the diameter ratio is increased. The case using water showed worse cold storage performance due to comparatively large supercooling than the case using n-Tetradecane.

장기 저장 중 저장 온도와 습도에 따른 해품 콩의 콩나물 가공적성 연구 (Investigation of the processing characteristics of soybean sprouts after germination of HaePum during a long storage period with different temperature and humidity)

  • 나물용 콩인 해품의 저장 온도(5, 15 ℃ 그리고 실온)및 저장기간(0, 6, 12개월), 저장 습도(20, 40, 60, 80%) 에 따라 변화하는 해품 콩나물의 가공적성을 분석하였다. 콩나물의 발아세는 콩을 실온에서 저장 시 저장 기간이 증가함에 따라 발아세가 감소하였으며 저장 12개월이 되었을 때 0%이었다. 30 ℃, 80% 저장조건에서 4개월 저장된 콩을 이용 시 콩나물의 발아세는 4.94%로 가장 낮았다. 콩나물의 수율은 콩의 저장 온도와 저장기간이 증가함에 따라 유의미하게 감소하였으며(p <0.05), 콩의 저장 온도와 저장 습도에 따른 콩나물의 수율은 발아세의 경향과 동일하였다. 콩나물 자엽의 황색도와 조직감, 배축의 명도와 조직감 모두 저장 기간이 증가함에 따라 감소하였다. 콩의 고온(30 ℃), 고습(80%)의 저장조건에 의한 영향으로 콩나물 자엽의 조직감은 44.39±9.38 g/㎟으로 감소하였다. 콩나물의 유리아미노산 함량은 콩의 저장조건에 따라 뚜렷한 경향을 나타내지 않았으며 발아세의 결과와 유사하였다. 이는 콩의 저장 조건과 저장 기간이 콩나물의 품질인자에 영향을 미치기 때문에 저장 조건이 중요한 변수가 되는 것을 의미한다. 1차 반응속도 식과 Arrhenius식에 의해 계산된 콩나물 수율의 활성화 에너지(Ea)는 29.56 kJ/mol이었으며, 이를 이용하여 저장온도에 따른 수율의 예측이 가능하였다.

저장습도가 온주밀감의 저장에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Humidity on the Storage Life of Satsuma Mandarin)

  • 제주산 궁천조생 온주밀감의 저장효과를 검토하기 위하여 저장 중 각각 $3^{circ}C$, 90%와 85% 상대습도에서 저온저장하였으며, 습도 조절이 안된 상온저장과 비교하였다. 중량감소는 저장 98일까지 각각 90% 습도에서는 3.40%, 85% 습도에서는 6.92%, 상온저장에서는 11.87%로서 습도가 높을수록 중량감소는 적었다. 그러나 90% 습도에서 저장한 감귤은 저장 98일 이후 부패율이 3.87%에서 급격히 증가하여 126일에 48.75%에 이르렀다. 과육율과 가용성고형물은 저장기간 중 큰 변화를 보이지 않았다. 경도는 저장 중 계속하여 감소하였고, 특히 상온저장에서 감소가 심하였다. 산 함량과 비타민 C 변화는 호흡작용에 의해 저장기간이 경과함에 따라 계속하여 감소하였다. 상온저장에서는 저온저장에 비해 착색이 계속 진행됨을 알 수 있었다. 관능평가와 내용성분을 기준한다면 품질 유지를 위해서는 $3^{circ}C$, 85% 상대습도에서 수확후 100일 정도가 조생온주 밀감의 최적 저장기간으로 판단되었다.

보존에 따른 녹두 전분 gel의 관능적, 텍스쳐 특성변화 (Changes in Sensory and Textural Properties of Mungbean Starch Gels during Storage)

  • 녹두 전분 겔을 온도(5$^{\circ}C$, $25^{\circ}C$) 및 기간별(1, 24, 48, 72시간)로 보존하여 겔의 색도, 이수현상, 텍스쳐, 관능적 특성 등에 대하여 조사하였다. 겔의 색도는 L값과 W값이 보존기간이 경과함에 따라 커져서 겔의 보존시 백색도가 커지고 투명도가 감소하였으며 이러한 경향은 저온에서 더 현저하였다. 이수량 역시 저온에서, 보존기간이 경과함에 따라 더 많아졌다. 텍스쳐 특성은 경도는 보존기간이 경과하면 커지고 부착성, 응집성은 작아져서, 보존에 의해 겔이 단단하고 푸석푸석해지는 경향을 나타내었다. 또한 이러한 경향은 저온 보존시 더 현저하였다. 관능적 특성은 기계적 특정과 대체로 일치하는 경향이었으며, 전반적 바람직성은 5$^{\circ}C$에서는 보존 2일째부터, $25^{\circ}C$보존에서는 보존 3일째부터 기호도가 상당히 낮아졌다.

지상형 탄약고의 내부온도 감소 방안 연구 (A Study on the Deduction of Internal Temperature of the Ground Magazine)

  • Among ammunitions which are stored in a war field, the lifespan of propelling gunpowder is affected by storage environment such as storage temperature, humidity, and exposure to sunlight. These are because Nitrocellulose (NC) which is the main component of propelling gunpowder can be naturally disassembled to unstable substances similar with other nitric acid ester. We can't prevent it fundamentally from being disassembled, but to restrain induction of automatic disassembly by decomposition product, a decomposition product ($NO_2$, $NO_3$, and $HNO_3$) and tranquillizer DPA (Diphenylamine), having high reactivity, are added into a propellant. For this, it will decrease the velocity of tranquillizer which can also affect the velocity of producing the decomposition product of NC, storage temperature or humidity of propelling gunpowder is higher, drop of tranquillizer content is much faster. Therefore, to extend storage lifespan of propelling gunpowder, it is really important to control storage temperature or humidity inside the magazine. Hereupon, according to the manufacture of small scale model magazine and the result of performing experiments and measuring variation of inside temperature (storage temperature), using roof types that have a steel slate structure of magazine among ground magazines, this research shows the differences in details.
