지정식 보관방식 창고시스템에서 보관위치 할당계획 (The Allocation Planning of Storage Location in a Dedicated Storage Method Warehuse System)

  • This paper addresses the allocation planning of the storage location in a warehouse system that the dedicated storage method is used. In the discrete finite time period model, the demands for storage location of products are dynamic for time periods. The planning is to determine the reallocation time period and the storage location of the products in reallocation time period, which minimizes costs. The cost factors are the reallocation cost, the travel cost within warehouse and the surplus storage location cost. A model is formulated, and the property of optimal solution is characterized. The dynamic programming algorithm is developed, and a numerical example is shown.

  • The shortage of storage space in the apartment housing has been chronic problem in the Korean housing history. So far many studies on the storage space focused on the enlargement of indoor storage space but these studies could not be a complete solution. To solve problem, this study analyzed the case which installed exterior storage space and the regulations. The followings are several findings. The exterior storage space should be a essential element in the apartment planning and should be included as a community facility. The standards on the size, safety, facility, and management of storage space should be enacted.

Optimal Scheduling in Power-Generation Systems with Thermal and Pumped-Storage Hydroelectric Units

  • This paper is concerned with the unit commitment problem in an electric power system with both thermal and pumped-storage hydroelectric units. This is a mixed integer programming problem and the Lagrangean relaxation method is used. We show that the relaxed problem decomposes into two kinds of subproblems : a shortest-path problem for each thermal unit and a minimum cost flow problem for each pumped-storage hydroelectric unit. A method of obtaining an incumbenet solution from the solution of a relaxed problem is presented. The Lagrangean multipliers are updated using both subgradient and incremental cost. The algorithm is applied to a real Korean power generation system and its computational results are reported and compaired with other works.

  • 본 논문에서는 저전류 충방전용 배터리의 SOC(Storage of Charge)을 구하기 위하여 헤르미트 보간법을 이용한 새로운 SOC 다항식을 제안하였다. 또한 SOC 다항식의 계수들을 직접 구할 수 있는 일반 공식이 제안되었다. 실험한 결과, 제안된 방식이 기존의 볼츠만(Boltzmann) SOC 방정식보다 실측 SOC에 정확하게 근사됨을 알 수가 있었으며, 계산적으로도 효율적인 솔루션임이 입증 되었다.

  • A cost minimization model for designing AS/RS (Automated Storage/Retrieval Systems) has been developed, whose objective function includes penalty cost caused by the incapability of meeting throughput rate requirements as well as S/R machine cost, storage rack cost, and interface conveyor cost. Since the model is a nonlinear integer programming problem which is very hard to solve with large problem size the problem is divided into four cases according to the ratio of horizontal S/R machine speed to its vertical speed and the existence of the penalty cost. A solution procedure is developed which solves each problem exactly under the different number of S/R machines.

  • This paper focuses on the frozen storage warehouse located in Busan area, and it is because Busan is the most dense area in Korea. Busan is a port city, and almost all of the frozen refrigerated cargo imported from abroad is concentrated. By taking advantage of its strength as a fishery industry as well as importing, Busan is building the largest international fishery logistics base in Northeast Asia and plays an important role in the export of refrigerated cargo is. Therefore, although the freezing and chilling facilities seem to be developed with the latest technology, the reality is not so. Most of them are functioning as a warehouse, that is, a storage function, and a considerable number of refrigerated warehouses are in a state of aging. Therefore, in this paper, the facility and function restructuring of the freezing storage warehouse have been set as a solution task, and the introduction of the cold chain system containing the latest smart technology has been proposed as a solution.

가족생활주기에 따른 수납 의식 및 요구 비교 (A Study on Residents' Perceptions and Needs for Storage according to the Family Life Cycle)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine residents' perception and needs for storage according to the family life cycle. In order to achieve our goal, the questionnaire survey is used. We sample the questionnaire surveys of 250 apartment households in Seoul. The data collect by the questionnaire survey was analyzed by examining the frequency, percentage on the SPSS/PC+ Statistics package. The results of the study are obtained as follows: 1) In research on the actual storage condition, residents tend to feel constraint on storage of the season goods and the storage satisfaction on the service area is founded lowest. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space plan on the balcony storage and the interior storage for the season goods. 2) In research on the storage consciousness and attitude, residents tend to keep the goods of no use and prefer to arrange neatly rather than use conveniently. Therefore, it is needed more efficient space in the balcony for the storage of the goods of no use and the colsed furniture rather than the open furniture is suited for arrangement. 3) In research on the storage needs, needs for the built-in furniture in all family life cycle show highly and residents want to a space for the exclusive use of the storage. 요소수(Urea solution)의 온도변화에 따른 요소 및 뷰렛함량 변화 특성 연구 (Study on Characteristics of Change of Urea and Biuret Content by Temperature Variation in Urea Solution)

  • 대기오염에 대한 관심이 증대하면서 대기오염물질의 저감에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 차량용 요소수(Urea solution)를 이용한 디젤 차량의 질소산화물(NOx) 제거는 큰 효과를 나타내고 있다. 요소수의 품질은 국내법으로 엄격히 규정하고 있으나 요소수 내 불순물의 증대는 질소산화물 저감 효과를 감소시키게 된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 일정 온도와 시간동안 요소수를 가열한 후 요소수의 물성변화를 분석하였다. 또한, 요소수를 보관하는 저장용기와 저장온도의 변화에 따른 요소수 물성변화도 함께 분석하였다. 요소수를 일정시간 가열한 후 요소수 내 뷰렛함량은 증가하고 요소함량은 감소하였으며, 요소함량감소에 따라 밀도와 굴절률도 함께 감소하였다. 철제 및 PET 용기와 일정온도($30^{\circ}C$, $50^{\circ}C$)에서 실시한 저장안정성 시험에서는 물성변화가 나타나지 않았다.

Effects of Cryoprotectants and Diluents on the Cryopreservation of Spermatozoa from Far Eastern Catfish, Silurus asotus

  • The aim of this study was to compare the efficacy of cryopreservation methods for ex situ conservation of spermatozoa from far eastern catfish, Silurus asotus. The spermatozoa activity index (SAI) and hatching rates were higher in spermatozoa stored in Alserver's solution than those of spermatozoa stored in glucose solution. The SAI and hatching rates in all experimental groups gradually decreased with increasing duration of storage. Additionally, the SAI and hatching rates gradually decreased with increasing thawing temperatures at all storage durations (P<0.05). Based on the SAI and hatching rates, our results suggest that the optimal cryopreservation conditions of catfish spermatozoa involve storage in Alserver's solution with 15% ethylene glycol, and thawing at $25^{\circ}C$. Cryopreservation of spermatozoa is a useful and reliable technique for conserving gene resources and for artificial propagation of far eastern catfish.

Gelatinization and retrogradation characteristics of Korean rice cake in the presence of citric acid

  • The effect of citric acid on rice starch gelatinization and low-temperature (4 ℃) storage was studied in order to produce rice cake with a lower retrogradation rate. A citric acid solution in the ratio of 0, 0.5, 1.0, and 1.5% (w/w) of the water used during production was utilized. The gelatinization properties, gel strength, thermal properties, and texture analysis were evaluated to determine the retrogradation rate. The result showed that acid hydrolysis occurred in samples treated with citric acid. Thus, increasing citric acid decreased gelatinization temperature (58.63±1.98 to 45.84±1.24 ℃). The moduli of elasticity increased with increasing citric acid concentration, indicating an increased gel strength. Thermal analysis of starch showed that the onset, peak, and conclusion temperatures of retrogradation were increased significantly with the storage period and decreased with citric acid concentration. After 72 h of low-temperature storage (4 ℃), the retrogradation rate was lowest in the rice cake with 1.5% citric acid solution, with an increased ratio of 12.01 to 13.60% compared to the control sample, with a ratio of 12.99 to 43.54%. This shows a high retrogradation rate in the control sample. Additionally, sensory properties and retrogradation ratio suggest that the addition of 1.0% citric acid solution during rice cake production is efficient in retarding the retrogradation without an adverse effect on the rice cake modeling and acceptance.
