전자식 조정장치 헬리콥터의 하중 비행영역 제한 로직 설계 (Flight Envelope Load Factor Limit Logic Design for Helicopter Fly-By-Wire Controller)

  • 본 논문은 전자식 조정장치 헬리콥터의 비행영역 보호를 위한 하중제안 로직 설계에 대한 결과이다. 헬리콥터는 로터, 동체, 엔진등 구조가 복잡하기 때문에 여러 가지 제약조건에 가지고 비행을 해야 한다. 이 때문에 조종사가 그 제약조건을 고려하여 조종을 하면서 조종사의 작업부하가 증가하고 비행 조종성을 떨어뜨리는 결과가 발생한다. 이러한 헬리콥터의 비행제약조건으로부터 자유롭게 조정 하도록 하여 조종사를 도와주는 기능이 필요하고 본 논문에서는 그 중의 대표적인 제약조건인 하중제약조건에 대한 제한 로직을 전자식 조정장치 헬리콥터에 설계하고자 한다. 하중범위를 벗어나는 비행은 피치 싸이클릭 스틱을 급격하게 입력하여 주로 발생한다. 이때 조종스틱 명령과 피치축 자세명령모델사이에 비행영역제한로직을 추가하여 하중범위를 벗어나지 않도록 하였다. 현재의 하중 값에 대한 자세범위를 동적으로 계산하는 로직을 사용하였고 헬리콥터 모델에 적용하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 알고리즘을 검증하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통하여 정지비행영역, 전진비행영역에서 하중제한로직을 적용하지 않았을 때와 적용하였을 때를 비교한 결과, 하중제한로직을 적용하지 않았을 때는 하중제한 리미트를 20% 이상 초과하였으나 본 연구에서 제한한 로직을 적용하였을 때는 하중제한 리미트가 초과하지 않음을 확인하였다. 결론적으로 시뮬레이션을 통하여 동적으로 할당하는 제한로직이 헬리콥터 전자식 조정장치 제어기에 적합함을 확인하였다.

증기발생기 세관용 Inconel 690 의 프레팅 마찰 및 마멸특성 (Friction and Wear of Inconel 690 for Steam Generator Tube in Fretting)

  • Inconel 690 for nuclear steam generator tube has more Chromium than the conventionally used Inconel 600 in order to increase the corrosion resistance. To evaluate the tribological characteristics of Inconel 690 under fretting condition the fretting tests were carried out in air and elevated temperature water. Fretting tests of the cross-cylinder type were done under various vibrating amplitudes and applied normal loads in order to measure the friction forces and wear volumes. From the results of fretting wear tests. the wear of Inconel 690 can be predictable using the work rate model. The amounts of friction forces were proportional to relative movement between two fretting surfaces. The friction coefficients were decreased as increasing the normal loads and deceasing the vibrating amplitudes. Depending on fretting environment, distinctively different wear mechanisms and often drastically different wear rates can occur It was found that the fretting wearfactors in air and water at 2$0^{\circ}C$, 5$0^{\circ}C$, and 8$0^{\circ}C$ were 7.38 $\times$ $10^{-13}$$Pa^{-1}$, 2.12 $\times$$10^{-13}$$Pa^{-1}$, 3.34$\times$$10^{-13}$$Pa^{-1}$and 5.21$\times$$10^{-13}$$Pa^{-1}$, respectively flexibility to model response data with multiple local extreme. In this study, metamodeling techniques are adopted to carry out the shape optimization of a funnel of Cathode Ray Tube, which finds the shape minimizing the local maximum principal stress. Optimum designs using two metamodels are compared and proper metamodel is recommended based on this research.

  • The chemical response of energetic materials is analyzed in terms of 1) the thermal decomposition under the thermal stimulus and 2) the reactive flow upon the mechanical impact, both of which give rise to an exothermic thermal runaway or an explosion. The present study aims at building a set of chemical kinetics that can precisely model both thermal and impact initiation of a heavily aluminized cyclotrimethylene-trinitramine (RDX) which contains 35% of aluminum. For a thermal decomposition model, the differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurement is used together with the Friedman isoconversional method for defining the frequency factor and activation energy in the form of Arrhenius rate law that are extracted from the evolution of product mass fraction. As for modelling the impact response, a series of unconfined rate stick data are used to construct the size effect curve which represents the relationship between detonation velocity and inverse radius of the sample. For validation of the modeled results, a cook-off test and a pressure chamber test are used to compare the predicted chemical response of the aluminized RDX that is either thermally or mechanically loaded.

주위 온도에 따른 Inconel690의 마멸 거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fretting-Wear Behavior of Inconel 690 due to Surrounding Temperature)

  • In nuclear power steam generators, high flow rates can induce vibration of the tubes resulting in fretting wear damage due to contacts between the tubes and their supports. In this paper the fretting wear tests and the sliding wear tests were performed using the steam generator tube materials of Inconel 690 against STS 304. Sliding tests with the pin-on-disk type tribometer were done under various applied loads and sliding speeds at air and water environment. Fretting tests were done under various vibrating amplitudes, applied normal loads and various temperatures. From the results of sliding and fretting wear tests, the wear of Inconel 690 can be predictable using the work rate model. Depending on normal loads and vibrating amplitudes, distinctively different wear mechanisms and often drastically different wear rates can occur. At room temperature, the wear coefficient K of Inconel 690 is 7.57${\times}$10$\^$13/Pa$\^$1/ in air and it is 1.93${\times}$10$\^$13/Pa$\^$1/ in water. At room temperature, it is found that the wear volume in air is more than in water. In water, the wear coefficient K at 50$^{\circ}C$ and 80$^{\circ}C$ is 4.35${\times}$10$\^$-13/Pa$^1$ and 5.81${\times}$10$\^$-13/Pa$^1$ respectively, Therefore, it is found that the wear volume extremely increases by increasing on temperature in water. This study shows that the dissolved oxygen with temperature increment increases and the wear due to fluidity is severe.

축대칭 왕복엔진의 비정상 난류유동에 대한 수치해석 (A Numerical Simulation of Unsteady Axisymmetric Turbulent Flow in a Reciprocating Engine Including Port/Valve Assembly)

  • A numerical simulation of unsteady axisymmetric turbulent flow was performed for a reciprocating engine including port/valve assembly. The governing equations based on a nonorthogonal coordinate formulation with Cartesian velocity components were used and discretised by the finite volume method with non-staggered variable arrangements. The modified $\kappa-\xi$. turbulence model which included the effect of compressibility was used. The results of twodimensional transient calculation for the axisymmetric configuration were compared with the experimental data. Although slightly low rms velocity was predicted compared to the experimental data, predicted velocity distributions at the valve exit and in-cylinder region showed good agreements with the experimental data. The flow at the valve exit was separated at the same valve lift position with the experimental data. Two vortices incylinder region were generated during the initial intake process. The clockwise main vortex became strong and moved upward to the top wall. The counter-clockwise second vortex became weak and stick to the upper left corner of the cylinder. After middle intake process, new vortex adjacent to upper cylinder wall appeared by the piston motion and therefore, the in-cylinder flow was formed into three vortices. The cylinder pressure just before bottom dead center of piston was higher than inlet pressure and then the reverse flow occured at the valve exit. The in-cylinder flow characteristics were strongly dependent on piston motion, but insensitive to valve motion.

퍼지 모델에 기초한 시계열 주가 예측 (Time Series Stock Prices Prediction Based On Fuzzy Model)

  • 본 논문은 일별 및 주별로 시계열 주가를 예측할 수 있는 퍼지 모델을 구성하는 방법을 제안한다. 전통적인 시계열 분석으로 주가를 예측하는 것은 어렵지만 퍼지 모델은 비선형적인 주가 데이터의 특성을 잘 기술할 수 있는 장점을 갖고 있다. 주가 예측 모델에 사용될 입력 정보를 결정하는 데는 상당한 수고가 필요한데, 본 논문에서는 전통적인 캔들 스틱 차트의 정보를 입력변수로 고려한다. 주가 예측 퍼지 모델은 사다리꼴 멤버쉽함수를 갖는 전건부와 비선형식인 후건부로 된 퍼지 규칙으로 구성된다. 차분 진화를 통해 퍼지 모델은 최적화된다. 일별 및 주별로 코스피 지수의 시가, 고가, 저가 및 종가를 예측하는 모델을 만들고 그 성능을 평가한다.

확장된 slip-weakening 모델의 응력 강하량과 에너지 수지 특성 및 스케일링 관계 (Characteristics of Stress Drop and Energy Budget from Extended Slip-Weakening Model and Scaling Relationships)

  • The extended slip-weakening model was investigated by using a compiled set of source-spectrum-related parameters, i.e. seismic moment Mo, S-wave velocity Vs, corner-frequency fc, and source-controlled high-cut frequency fmax, for 113 shallow crustal earthquakes (focal depth less than 25 km, MW 3.0~7.5) that occurred in Japan from 1987 to 2016. The investigation was focused on the characteristics of stress drop, radiation energy-to-seismic moment ratio, radiation efficiency, and fracture energy release rate, Gc. The scaling relationships of those source parameters were also investigated and compared with those in previous studies, which were based on generally used singular models with the dimensionless numbers corresponding to fc given by Brune and Madariaga. The results showed that the stress drop from the singular model with Madariaga's dimensionless number was equivalent to the breakdown stress drop, as well as Brune's effective stress, rather than to static stress drop as has been usually assumed. The scale dependence of stress drop showed a different tendency in accordance with the size category of the earthquakes, which may be divided into small-moderate earthquakes and moderate-large earthquakes by comparing to Mo = 1017~1018 Nm. The scale dependence was quite similar to that shown by Kanamori and Rivera. The scale dependence was not because of a poor dynamic range of recorded signals or missing data as asserted by Ide and Beroza, but rather it was because of the scale dependent Vr-induced local similarity of spectrum as shown in a previous study by the authors. The energy release rate Gc with respect to breakdown distance Dc from the extended slip-weakening model coincided with that given by Ellsworth and Beroza in a study on the rupture nucleation phase; and the empirical relationship given by Abercrombie and Rice can represent the results from the extended slip-weakening model, the results from laboratory stick-slip experiments by Ohnaka, and the results given by Ellsworth and Beroza simultaneously. Also the energy flux into the breakdown zone was well correlated with the breakdown stress drop, ${\tilde{e}}$ and peak slip velocity of the fault faces. Consequently, the investigation results indicate the appropriateness of the extended slip-weakening model.

Agile 방법론을 이용한 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트관리 (Software development project management using Agile methodology)

  • 최근에는 소프트웨어개발 프로세스나 도구보다는 개인과의 상호작용을 희망하고, 고객은 포괄적인 문서보다는 우선 작동하는 소프트웨어를 희망하며, 개발자는 계약에 대한 협상보다는 고객과의 협력을, 서로가 계획을 고수하기 보다는 변화에 대응하는 것을 더욱 가치 있게 생각한다. 이러한 관점에서, 소프트웨어 개발은 프로세스 중심보다는 프로젝트팀에게 자율성과 동기를 부여하고, 열정과 비전 등 인간관계 중심의 관리방식이 요구되고 있다. 최근에 와서 애자일 개발프로세스가 생산성 증대효과, 품질향상, 고객만족 등의 효용성이 입증되면서 프로젝트를 추진 할 때 방법론 선택에 있어, 전문가들에게 주목을 받게 되었다. 시대적 요구와 사용자 요구에 부응하기 위한 방법론 선정과 관련, 본 논문에서는 조직 구성에 있어, 제품 기반의 Cross functional team의 문제점을 해결하고자 제안된 방법론이 Feature Team 모델이며, 이 모델이 Cross functional team을 조직하고, 이 팀이 결과물(프로덕트) 단위가 아니라, 기능단위로 여러 프로덕트에 걸쳐서 개발을 진행하는 모델이라는 점에 대해 조사하였으며, 가치-주도형 애자일 기법을 통해 계획-기반형 모델과 차이점을 제시하였다. 그리고 객체지향모델링을 위해서는 기존의 JAD(joint application development)회의가 목표로 하는 도메인 분석, 요구추출, 모델링과 정리, 검토과정에 있어, UML 구조도와 행동도를 사전에 숙지하고 프로젝트를 진행하도록 제안한다.

햅틱 상호작용에 의한 증강 객체의 동적 움직임 모델링 (Dynamic Behavior Modelling of Augmented Objects with Haptic Interaction)

  • 본 논문에서는 실시간으로 가상현실의 증강객체에 외부의 힘이 작용할 때 증강된 가상 객체의 동적 모델링 방법을 제시하였다. 가상객체의 자연스러운 움직임을 시뮬레이션 하기 위하여 AR 객체에 적용되는 외부의 힘의 변화에 대하여 Newton의 운동법칙을 적용하여 객체의 움직임을 설명하는 식을 생성하였다. 동적 모델링 과정에서 증강된 객체와 햅틱 장비간의 실질적 상호작용이 발생하며 이때 외부의 힘이 가상객체에 전달된다. 증강된 객체의 고유특성은 강체 혹은 탄성체의 성질을 갖는 모델이다. 강체의 동적 모델링에서는 선형 모멘텀과 각속도 모멘텀을 모두 고려하여 증강된 객체와 햅틱 스틱이 충돌할 때 수행하였다. 비강체의 동적 모델링에 있어서는 탄성체의 변형 모델은 내외의 힘과 제한요소에 자연적으로 반응하기 때문에 물리기반 시뮬레이션 방법을 적용하였다. 증강된 탄성체는 햅틱 인터페이스를 통해 사용자에 의하여 발생하는 힘의 특성과 모델의 고유 특성에 따라 자연스럽게 변형된다. 변형 물체의 모델링을 위하여 Newton의 제 2 운동법칙이라 불리는 질량-스프링 연결 시스템을 적용하였다. 실험을 통하여 증강된 강체와 비강체의 성질을 지닌 가상 객체에 햅틱 장비에 의한 햅틱 상호작용이 발생 할 때 객체의 변환을 자연스럽게 가시화 할 수 있었다.

Seismic responses of base-isolated nuclear power plant structures considering spatially varying ground motions

  • This study presents the effects of the spatial variation of ground motions in a hard rock site on the seismic responses of a base-isolated nuclear power plant (BI-NPP). Three structural models were studied for the BI-NPP supported by different number of lead rubber bearing (LRB) base isolators with different base mat dimensions. The seismic responses of the BI-NPP were analyzed and investigated under the uniform and spatial varying excitation of El Centro ground motion. In addition, the rotational degrees of freedom (DOFs) of the base mat nodes were taken to consider the flexural behavior of the base mat on the seismic responses under both uniform and spatial varying excitation. Finally, the seismic response results for all the analysis cases of the BI-NPP were investigated in terms of the vibration periods and mode shapes, lateral displacements, and base shear forces. The analysis results indicate that: (1) considering the flexural behavior of the base mat has a negligible effect on the lateral displacements of base isolators regardless of the number of the isolators or the type of excitation used; (2) considering the spatial variation of ground motions has a substantial influence on the lateral displacements of base isolators and the NPP stick model; (3) the ground motion spatial variation effect is more prominent on lateral displacements than base shear forces, particularly with increasing numbers of base isolators and neglecting flexural behavior of the base mat.
