This paper deals with the computation error produced in the time step analysis for a electric machine with eddy current. To investigate the error in quantity, the analytic equations representing the steady state results of time-step analysis are deduced. Using the equations, the characteristics of errors are calculated for a general electric circuit, with variation of the circuit parameters and step size.

This paper poses tracking control and torque control methods to reduce torque ripple for bilateral symmetric trainers. As opposed to the conventional method, the torque control method for active joint movement is proposed. Using a step motor (PK296-03b, step angle: $1.8^{\circ}$), a simulator for a bilateral symmetric trainer is created, and the effectiveness of the proposed control method is verified through experiment results.

The temporal discretisation of a moderate semilinear parabolic problem in an abstract setting by the two-step backward differentiation formula with variable step sizes is analysed. Stability as well as optimal smooth data error estimates are derived if the ratios of adjacent step sizes are bounded from above by 1.91.

This paper proposes an infeasible interior-point algorithm with full-Newton step for linear programming. We introduce a special self-regular proximity to induce the feasibility step and also to measure proximity to the central path. The result of polynomial complexity coincides with the best-known iteration bound for infeasible interior-point methods, namely, O(n log n/${\varepsilon}$).

We proposed a fast detection of copy-move image forgery using four step search algorithm in the spatial domain. In the four-step search algorithm, the search area is 21 (-10 ~ +10), and the number of pixels to be scanned is 33. Our algorithm reduced computational complexity more than conventional copy move image forgery methods. The proposed method reduced 92.34 % of computational complexity compare to exhaustive search algorithm.

In this paper, we describe a fast 3D video segmentation method using mathematical morphology. The proposed 3D video segmentation algorithm is composed of intra-frame segmentation step and inter-frame segmentation step. In the intra-frame segmentation step, the first frame is segmented using the fast hierarchical segmentation method. Then, in the inter-frame segmentation step, the next frames are segmented using markers that are extracted from the difference of previous segmentation result and simplified present image. Experimental results show that the proposed method has more fast structure and is suitable for video segmentation.

An antenna tracking technique, referred to as "step track", is commonly used in communication applications. In this paper, an algorithm to improve the step-tracking technique for satellite tracking is proposed. We suggest a method by which the antenna scans the azimuth, detects the satellite signal without the position information, and points quickly to the direction receiving the signal of peak level. After reaching the peak level, the step-track system maintains enough signal levels to receive satellite broadcasting normally. Performance of the Tracking Algorithm proposed in this paper are verified with simulation.

The new algorithm for higher performance of dynamic PIV has been proposed. Present study considered mathematical basis of PIV analysis for multiple-time-step images and it enables us to analyze the high time-resolution PIV, which is obtained by dynamic PIV system. Conventional single pair image PIV analysis gives us the velocity field data in each time step but it sometimes contains unnecessary information of target flow. Present technique utilize multi-time step correlation information, and it is analyzed.

동특성 분석 코드 시스템 PANBOX2는 시간에 대한 미분을 Implicit Euler 방법을 사용하여 근사한다. 이 경우 Local Truncation Error는 중성자속의 이차 미분에 비례한다. Time-Step-Doubling 기법을 이용하여 Local Truncation Error의 근사치를 구하고 이를 이용하여 Time Step Size를 조절해 주는 방법을 동특성 분석 코드 시스템 PANBOX2에 도입하였다. LRA와 NEACRP 제어봉 인출사고 검증문제에 대한 분석 결과, PANBOX2 시스템의 기존 방법에 비해 효과적으로 Time Step을 제어하였으며 보다 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

This study is to investigate the fitness of tight skirt in moving lower limb. The fit- ness was tested by measuring the step length, stride length, maximum stair step height. One humdred and twenty female subjects participated in the experiment. It was shown that the tight skirt caused the most reduction in the maximum stair step height among the five lengths measured. It was also shown that the long tight skirt limited the maximum stair step height more than the mini tight skirt.
