The purpose of this study is to examine the status quo of the networking between health promotion and other programs conducted by public health centers(PHCs), and to develop concrete strategies for improving the efficiency of the health promotion programs at PHCs. Data were collected from a questionnaire survey for 246 PHCs nationwide and 96 questionnaire were returned(response rate of 39%). A focus group study was also conducted to compliment the detail of the networking system between health promotion and other programs at PHCs. The results revealed that the current networking between health promotion and other programs conducted by public health centers is not working well. Especially, the communication networking between health promotion and other programs at planning stage is poorer than the stages of implementation, performance, and evaluation. The main reasons of the poor networking have been caused by an inadequate organizational structure, inefficient information system, low level of motivation for networking among the staff of PHCs, and no concrete guidelines for networking. This study also suggested several strategies to facilitate the cooperation between health promotion and other programs.

Purpose - Based on the analysis of Kazakhstan's experience of digital transformation, this study suggests a concept for digital solution to optimize organizational process, create trust networking between the center of state scholarships programs and recipients. In addition, the authors contribute to the current discussions of an effective digital transformation of state services. Research design, data, and methodology - Policy analysis is based on the combination of both primary and secondary materials collected during a Policy Research Project conducted in Kazakhstan in 2017. It involved semi-structured interviews with the state scholarship' recipients, ICT experts and findings from academic articles. Results - Findings are represented via Policy Development Matrix - a table with three options (status quo, partial change, total change) to deal with policy challenges. Authors suggest a concept for digital solution following the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) principles for optimizing core business processes, communication and networking strategies of the state scholarships program. Conclusions - At the time when digitalization becomes trending for states, the transformation of the state education policy is inevitable. The rapid development of digital technologies creates new opportunities for a single integration platform with key principles of Smart Remote Management in the state scholarships programs.

All the libraries are facing major financial problems due to a variety of reasons such as non growing or even decreasing appropriations from their administration, continuing inflationary increases for journal and library materials, needs for new or improved facilities. increased costs for new technologies and networks and more demands for services. To address these financial problems, library administrators need to find ways to supplement their budgets through existing as well as new creative external funding strategies including grants, fundraising. sponsorship. resource sharing fees and others. This paper is drawing fundraising and sponsorship. But this financial aid is not an Aladin's lamp which, if rubbed three times, will give you three wishes and all the money you want. So this study is reviewed the history of fundraising, environmental situation in connecting with library law, status-quo, practical process for fundraising and existing sponsorship methods.

This study was conducted to analyze the wearing practice and the purchasing characteristics of household rubber gloves in order to obtain the product demands for quality improvement. The effects of wearing time per day and demographic characteristics on those were evaluated. A questionnaire was developed and administered to 494 housewives. Statistical tests such as descriptive analysis, crosstabs, factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, were used to analyze the data. The results indicated that housewives were largely divided into two groups according to the wearing time per day. One group wore gloves more than 3 hours a day, while the other wore less than 3 hours. We found that there were significant differences in the wearing practice and the purchasing characteristics between these two groups. It showed that the quality improvement of household rubber gloves should be achieved in a point of view of the comfort feeling and easiness in wearing and taking off. The housewives showed positive attitude toward pliability and necessity, while negative altitude toward dryness, comfort and mobility in wearing. The household rubber gloves were identified as the necessities which is so familiar and common that only a few of demographic characteristics have effect on.

Recently, Fintech, a technology that was created as a result of mixture of finance and IT technology, has become a big issue with the development of IT technology and widespread of smartphone usage. Although a continuous research to let new mobile banking payment system to settle in the domestic market is necessary, the research available is inadequate in the status quo. Trust, which is lacking at the moment, is regarded the most important factor in mobile banking payment system. This study, therefore, investigate into factors that building trust that effects people's usage of mobile financial payment systems.

This study aimed to evaluate the TAC policy and to examine the effective annual TAC quota in the sandfish stock rebuilding plan using a bioeconomic modelling method. In the analysis, first, a sandfish bioeconomic model was developed by combining a sandfish stock population model and economic models by fishery and second, achieving stock rebuilding targets and changes of fishing revenues by the level of annual TAC quota were examined. Model results indicated that the TAC 1,500ton policy would have the greatest impact on the increase of sandfish stock biomass comparing to the status quo and other TAC policies. In addition, it was evaluated that the total fishing revenues of coastal gillnet and danish seine fisheries could be increased the most in the TAC 2,500ton policy. In both cases of TAC 3,500ton and 4,000ton, the fishing revenues of both fisheries were inversely reduced due to the decrease of catch by coastal gillnet and the decline of market prices by danish seine's excessive catch. Furthermore, they would have a negative impact on sandfish stock biomass.

Scholars have long debated the factors that drive political participation and have recently applied theories, developed from analyses of citizens from Europe and the United States, to respondents in the democratizing countries of Asia. In both Hong Kong and Singapore, however, citizens attend rallies and contact officials - yet do so under authoritarian governance. Are the causes of political participation in these cities similar to what is observed in other groups of respondents across Asia? Or, do institutions influence whether individuals participate? In this paper, I evaluate the development of liberal norms of engagement in both cities as a function of traditional models of participation. As citizens in these cities possess some of the highest standards of living in the region, they should also face frustrations with the limited democratic accountability of their leaders. Ultimately, individuals in each city have developed support for democracy but, given the differing goals of each regime, the nature of democratic engagement differs considerably. In Singapore, citizens are mobilized to engage and participate but support the status quo. By contrast, engaged Hong Kong residents participate out of a frustration with the government, a function of their high levels of internal efficacy and institutional detachment.

Objectives: The purpose of this paper is to describe the role for public education in mental health promotion, prevention of mental illness and treatment of mental disorders in Canada. Results: A brief history of the changing nature of the way we treat mental disorders in Canada argues for an increasingly critical role for public education. Furthermore, the new understanding of the role of social determinants in prevention of mental illness again necessitates a vital role for public education as the shift in focus moves from exclusively individual-focused health care treatments to creating supportive environments. The roles for mental health public education then become: advocacy for the social determinants of health approach, better understanding of the nature of mental health problems, useful information for self-management, and more knowledge about appropriate treatments. A brief discussion of the structure of the response in Canada provides an overview of national and provincial responsibilities in mental health care with a case study highlighting one community's response to addressing mental disorders. Conclusion : Finally, challenges regarding the most effective educators and the issue of professional expertise embedded in the status quo are discussed.

The use of mobile payment services has recently increased in South Korea. Mobile payments allow consumers to purchase items digitally, using a mobile card in an app affiliated with a payment service. This study explores the predictors of intention to adopt mobile payment services. The study employed an A(affective)-B(behavioral)-C(cognitive) model with two antecedent variables: cognitive (perceived usefulness, perceived risk, perceived ease of use, and perceived herding behavior) and affective (satisfaction with the status quo, innovation resistance) responses. An online survey of 405 non-users of mobile payment services aged 20 to 49 years was conducted. The study used SPSS 23.0 for descriptive analysis and Amos 23.0 for confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modelling. The results are as follows. First, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and perceived herding behavior significantly influenced innovation resistance. Second, perceived herding behavior significantly influenced subjective norms. Third, innovation resistance and subjective norms significantly influenced the intention to adopt mobile payment services. The findings suggest that the A-B-C model can be useful in understanding consumers' adoption and resistance behaviors and that cognitive and affective responses are important antecedent variables affecting the decision to adopt mobile payment services.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to provide understandings about EBD research trends in Korean healthcare architecture research. Method: The systematic literature review was conducted, while comparing the characteristics of research papers in Journal of Korea Institute of Healthcare Architecture with EBD related research papers among them. Results: It is found that the difference of research method utilized between healthcare research in general and EBD research. Specifically, a research method most utilized in general is a field study. In EBD research, however, literature review is most frequently used. Implications: This study can be used as a reference point for further development of EBD research in Korean healthcare architecture. In addition, research results can be used as a communication tool with healthcare specialists such as doctors and consultants in a healthcare project team. Thus, this study is anticipated to play a preliminary role for the development of healthcare architecture design in Korea.
