In the induction motor control, the rotator flux estimation methods are used in the implement vector control of the induction motor instead of the potentical-meter or tacho-meter, a system is very sensitive in noise. In this paper, the parameters that do not affect the stablity of the system were applied in Off-Line tuning methods. In case of the rotator resistor that is sensitive. On-Line tuning methods applied in the steady state. We ascertained that the utility of a theory applied in stator flux orientation vector control through the simulation.
This paper deals with the design of a field oriented control system model for the high performance induction motor using Matlab with Simulink. The proposed control system model, which is not used the speed and flux sensor, contains IM model, Tranformation, Decoupling, FFOC(Field Flux Orientation Controller), Torque calculator and PI Controller to control speed, torque. Results present the stator and rotor flux phasor trajectory, the startup and transient response of speed, torque and stator current with field oriented control and the response to changes in reference speed with no load. This paper shows that the propose control system is more robust than other vector control system, and suggest the enchanced model, using Matlab with Simulink for the high performance in induction motor control.
This paper presents a robust and speed-sensorless stator flux estimation for induction motor direct torque control. The proposed observer is based on sliding mode approach. Stator electrical equations are used in the rotor orientation reference frame to eliminate the observer dependence on rotor speed. Lyapunov's concept for systems stability is adopted to confine the observer gain. Furthermore, the sensitivity of the observer to parameter mismatch is recovered with an adaptation technique. The nonlinearities of the pulse width modulation voltage source inverter are estimated and compensated to enhance stability at low speeds. Therefore, a new method based on the model reference adaptive system is proposed. Simulation and experimental results are shown to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithms.

In this paper, a combined field orientation and adaptive backstepping approach using a sliding mode adaptive flux observer, is proposed for the control of induction motor In order to achieve the speed regulation with the consideration of improving power efficiency, rotor angular speed and flux amplitude tracking objectives are formulated. Rotor flux and inverse time constant are estimated by the sliding mode adaptive flux observer based on a fixed stator frame model and mechanical lumped uncertainty such as inertia moment, load torque disturbance, friction compensated by the adaptive backstepping based on a field-oriented model. Simulation results are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

The paper presents a novel DC grid connection topology and control strategy for doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind power generation system. In order to achieve the wind power conversion, the stator side converter and the rotor side converter is used to implement the DFIG control based on the indirect air-gap flux orientation, and a DC/DC converter is used for the DFIG system to DC grid connection. The maximum power point tracking and DC voltage droop control can also be implemented for the proposed DFIG system. Finally, a 4-terminal DFIG-based multi-terminal DC grid system is developed by Matlab to validate the availability of the proposed system and control strategy.

This paper describes variable speed drive and power control of a doubly fed induction machine(DFIM) for wind energy generation without rotational transducers. A stator flux orientation scheme and rotor speed estimator are employed to achieve decouple control of active and reactive power. To verify the theoretical analysis, a 5-hp DFIM prototype system and PWM power converter are built. Results of computer simulation are presented to support the discussion.
This paper describes the control of a utility-connected doublefed induction machine (DFIM) for wind power generation systems (WPGS). Real and reactive powers (PQ) at the stator side of DFIM are strictly controlled to supply the power to the grid without any problems. In this paper the control is realized using Fuzzy PI controller based on the stator-flux orientation control.

This paper presents a novel method of slip-compensation for rotor time constant variation in indirect field orientation control of induction motor drives. In field oriented control due to variation of rotor time constant, decoupling between the flux and torque components of stator current is lost and hence, the performance of operation of the machine deteriorates. To solve the problem, the q-axis is aligned to reference frame without phase difference by comparing the real flux component with the reference flux component. Then to compensate the slip, PI controller is used. The proposed method keeps a constant slip by compensating the gain of direct slip frequency when the rotor resistance of induction motor varies. To prove the validations of the proposed algorithm in the paper, computer simulations and experiments are executed.
In order to satisfy the urgent requirements for the overheating protection of induction motors, an approach that can be used to identify motor temperature has been proposed based on the rotor slots harmonic (RSH) in this paper. One method to accomplish this is to improve the calculation efficiency of the RSH by predicting the stator winding distribution harmonic order by analyzing the harmonics spectrum. Another approach is to increase the identification accuracy of the RSH by suppressing the influence of voltage flashes or current surges during temperature estimation based on model predictive control (MPC). First, an analytical expression of the stator inductance is extracted from a steady-state positive sequence motor equivalent circuit model developed from the rotor flux field orientation. Then a procedure that applies MPC for reducing the identification error of the rotor temperature caused by voltage sag or swell of the power system is given. Due to this work, the efficiency and accuracy of the RSH have been significantly improved and validated our experiments. This work can serves as a reference for the on-line temperature monitoring and overheating protection of an induction motor.
This paper presents analysis, design and simulation for the indirect field orientation control (IFOC) of induction machine drive system. The dynamic performance of the IFOC under nominal and detuned parameters of the induction machine is established. A conventional proportional plus integral-derivative (PI-D) two-degree-of-freedom controller (2DOFC) is designed and analysed for an ideal IFOC induction machine drive at nominal parameters with the desired dynamic response. Varying the induction machine parameters causes a degredation in the dynamic response for disturbance rejection and tracking performance with PI-D 2DOF speed controller. Therefore, conventional controllers can nut meet a wide range of speed tracking performance under parameter variations. To achieve high- dynamic performance, a proposed robust fuzzy logic controllers (RFLC) for d-axis rotor flux, d-q axis stator currents and rotor speed have been designed and analysed. These controllers provide robust tracking and disturbance rejection performance when detuning occurres and improve the dynamic behavior. The proposed REL controllers provide a fast and accurate dynamic response in tracking and disturbance rejection characteristics under parameter variations. Computer simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed REL controllers and a robust performance is obtained fur IFOC induction machine drive system.
