통계 데이타베이스의 효율적 이용을 위해 통계 분석을 위한 요약 정보를 미리 계산하여 저장함으로써 사용자에게 빠른 응답시간내에 통계 정보를 제공하려는 요약 데이타베이스와 이의 효율적인 관리와 사용의 편리를 위한 메타 데이타베이스가 생성되고 관리되어야만 한다. 요약 데이타베이스를 효율적으로 이용한 통계 분석 작업의 환경과 사용자의 편이성을 지원하기 위하여 계층 구조 형태인 데이타 사전/디렉토리의 형태로 독립적으로 운영되는 메타 데이타베이스와 관리기의 설계 및 구현 작업과 이를 이용한 운영 방법 등이 제시되었다.

There are many statistical information sites as the use of internet is increased quickly in recent years. In this paper, we explore and analyze internet sites for statistical information such as statistical survey system, education, database, and terminology. And then we classify these sites to apply statistical information to some particular spheres easily. In so doing, this study result aims at enhancing our understanding of internet sites for statistical information.

통계 데이타 베이스는 데이타가 단순한 통계치일 뿐만 아니라, 일반적인 통계처리에서 필요한 통계 분석을 위해 주로 사용되는 대량의 데이타 베이스를 말한다. 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리하기 위해 기존의 범용 데이타 베이스 관리 시스템을 그대로 이용하기에는 데이타 저장과 액세스의 비효율성, 사용의 편이성의 부족과 질의어 등의 부족으로 인해 사용자의 요구를 충족시키지 못해, 새로운 관리 방법의 필요성이 요구되어 왔다. 독자적 개발에 의한 새로운 소프트웨어로써 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리할 때의 실제 이용하기 어려운 현실적 제고를 고려하여, 이 논문에서는 관계형 데이타 베이스 시스템에의 전위 시스템인 SM-F 시스템을 설계하여, 이를 이용하여 통계 데이타 베이스를 관리하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이 시스템은 통계 데이타 베이스의 효율을 고려한 시멘틱 모델인 GROS 모델을 사용하며 통계분석을 지원하고 통계 요약 정보를 제공하기 위해, 메타 데이타 베이스와 요약 데이타 베이스를 저장하고 운영한다.

This paper examines the statistical process that should be performed with caution in the composite material qualification and equivalency process, and describes statistically significant considerations on outlier finding and handling process, data pooling through normalization process, review for data distributions and design allowables determination process for structural analysis. Based on these considerations, the need for guidance on statistical process for aircraft manufacturers who use the composite material properties database are proposed.

음성 데이터베이스는 TTS 시스템에서 가장 중요한 요소 중의 하나이다. 특히, 내장형 TTS 시스템에서는 서버형 TTS 시스템에서보다 좀 더 작은 데이터베이스를 필요로 한다. 이러한 이유로, 음성합성 데이터의 압축과 통계적 축소과정의 비중은 내장형 TTS 시스템에서 아주 중요한 항목이라고 말할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 압축과 통계적 축소과정은 합성음질의 저하를 유발시킨다. 본 논문에서는 고품질 내장형 TTS 시스템에서의 데이터 구축방법을 제안하며, MOS 테스트를 통한 합성음질을 검증한다.

This paper investigates the role of input frequency in the acquisition of verb argument structures based on distributional information of a corpus of utterances derived from the English CHILDES database (MacWhinney 1993). It has been widely accepted that children successfully learn verb argument structures by innate language mechanisms, such as linking rules which connect verb meanings and its syntactic structures. In contrast, an approach to language acquisition called “statistical language learning” has currently claimed that children could succeed in acquiring syntactic structures in the absence of innate language mechanisms, making use of distributional properties of the input. In this paper, I evaluate the feasibility of the statistical learning in acquiring verb argument structures, based on distributional information about locative verbs in parental input. The naturalistic data allow us to investigate to what extent the statistical learning approach can and cannot help children succeed in learning the syntax of locative verbs. Based on the results of English database analysis, I show that there is rich statistical information for learning the syntactic possibilities of locative verbs in parental input, despite some limitations in the statistical learning approach.

The purpose of this study, therefore, was to construct the region statistical information to present methods of the data. The results of this paper are as follows: First, the construction of region statistical data is much in need of utilizing the server of regional information center, or the database to the server of public institutions, Second, there are some difficulties to receive the region statistical data because of only depending on the main source of KOSIS provided by national units from National Statistical Office. Third, as there is another problem which is text searching system served by KOSIS, GU system should be established for the user's satisfaction served by easier accessing screen. Fourth, there should be a standard software production to suit for the accessing software of the region statistical data.

TBM의 제작 사양은 제작사들의 노하우에 의해 경험적으로 설계되고 있다. TBM 제작 사양은 TBM의 굴착성능과 가격을 좌우하기 때문에, TBM의 설계 단계에서 이를 데이터에 근거하여 결정하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 다양한 현장에서 사용된 TBM들의 정보를 수집하여 데이터베이스를 구축하였고, 이를 통계적으로 분석하여 TBM의 제작 사양을 추정하기 위한 상관관계들을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, TBM 최대 추력, 최대 토크, 공칭 토크 및 커터헤드 구동 동력과 같은 TBM의 최대 제작 용량은 지반조건이나 TBM의 형식보다는 TBM의 외경, 즉 TBM의 굴착단면적에 지배적인 영향을 받는 것으로 파악되었다.
