농촌 소도시의 CSOs 발생패턴분석 및 관리대책에 관한 연구 (Pattern Analysis of CSOs Generation in a Small Rural City and Control Schemes)

  • In this study, combined sewer overflows (CSOs) from five independent rainfall events in rural city area were collected and investigated. First flush effect in sewage pumping station located near the WWTP was retarded 30 to 60 minutes from booster pumping station. The ratios between SS, COD and TP concentrations prior to rainfall and peak concentrations during the period of rainfall were highly increased but nitrogen was relatively constant, which indicates that it is not associated with particles washed off from the surface of watershed. Mass balance results show that 30% of CSO was generated from booster pump station and 66.5% of CSO was from the whole runoff area. In the area of newly constructed sewer system, CSO problem was related with pump and sewer capacities, but in other old sewer system equipped area, it was due to the collection efficiency. Finally, Log-Log pollutant rating equations were suggested.

도시철도 역세권 개발방안 (The Strategy for the Development of Impact Area around Urban Rail Transit Station)

  • The financial incomes of urban rail transit authorities have been only from the fares. In order to increase the customers and expand the scope of enterprise, it is the most feasible mean to develop the area around the stations. Current experiences have confronted the excessive concentration of population and traffic congestion due to the lack of systematic planning and the excessive focus on the business. This study reviewed the necessity of the impact area around the urban rail transit stations by the organizational analysis for the urban rail transit authorities, and reviewed domestic/foreign cases. Finally, This study suggested the strategy for the development of impact area around the urban rail transit stations.

지상 LiDAR를 이용한 고정밀 수치지도 생성에 관한 연구 (A Study on High-Precision Digital Map Generation Using Ground LiDAR)

  • The slope of the road in the forest area has a characteristic of steep slope, so natural disasters such as slope collapse occur. The slope displacement observation technique according to landslide is being studied as a method to observe a wide area and a method to observe a small area. This is a study on high-precision digital map generation using ground LiDAR. It is possible to create a high - precision digital map by minimizing the US side using the 3D LiDAR in the steep slope area where the GPS and Total Station measurement are difficult in the maintenance of the danger slope area. It is difficult to objectively evaluate whether the contour lines generated by LiDAR are correct and it is considered necessary to construct a test bed for this purpose. Based on this study, if terrain changes such as landslides occur in the future, it will be useful for measuring slope displacement.

철도 역명의 유래를 통하여 본 파사드 이미지 및 감성반응에 관한 연구 -충청권 광역 전철화 노선을 중심으로- (A Study on the Facade Image and Emotional Response considering Geographical Language of Railway Station - focused on Metropolitan Line of Chungcheong Railway -)

  • This study is aimed to reflect the current status survey, analysis and response of 10 railway stations using geographical names in one of 19 stations located on Gyeongbu, Honam and Chungbuk line. Most railway stations in the study have shown normal images that are close to the standard type by selecting similar building materials rather than reflecting geographical features. Aside from the shape of the traditional Korean house in Cheongju, almost all newly constructed stations tend to incorporate light gray plating material on their modern exterior to produce Family look design as a railroad station. According to a survey of the sensitivity of the station's name, Osong Station was 73.6 percent, Gyeryong Station 67.3 percent, Heukseok-ri Station was 64.5 percent, Shintan-jin 62.6 percent, and Yeonsan Station 57 percent, more than half. Therefore, the results of the five stations were presented as a calculation and proposed design release focusing on the facades of each station. Each of these stations suggested a way to express the facade design image, considering the railway operation status of Korea Railroad, the area of the station and other surroundings.

박과작물 재배 단동 비닐하우스의 천장 환기시스템 설치 실태조사 (A field survey on roof ventilation system of single-span plastic greenhouse in cucurbitaceae vegetable cultivation)

  • This research was conducted to obtain the basic information for establishment of standard guidelines in the design and installation of roof ventilation system in single-span plastic greenhouse. To achieve this, the greenhouse structure & characteristics, cultivation status, and ventilation system were investigated for single-span greenhouse with roof ventilation system cultivating the Cucurbitaceae vegetables, watermelon, cucumber, and oriental melon. Most of single-span watermelon greenhouse in Haman and Buyeo area were a hoop-style and the ventilation system in those greenhouses mostly consisted of two different types of 'roof vent (circular or chimney type) + side vent (hole) + fan' and 'roof vent (circular type) + side vent (hole or roll-up type)'. The diameter of circular and chimney-type vent was mostly 60cm and the average number of vents was 10.5 per a bay with vent spacing of average 6.75m. The ratio of roof vent area to floor area and side vent area in the single-span watermelon greenhouse with ventilation fan were 0.46% and 7.6%, respectively. The single-span cucumber greenhouse in Haman and Changnyeong area were a gable roof type, such as even span, half span, three quarter and the 70.6% of total investigated single-span greenhouses was equipped with a roof ventilation fan while 58.8% had a circulation fan inside the greenhouse. The ratios of roof vent area to floor area in the single-span cucumber greenhouse ranged from 0.61 to 0.96% and in the case of the square roof vent, were higher than that of the circular type vent. On average, the roof ventilation fan in single-span cucumber greenhouse was equipped with the power input of 210W and maximum air volume of $85.0m^3/min$, and the number of fans was 9.75 per a bay. The number of roof vent of single-span oriental melon greenhouse with only roll-up type side vent ranged from 8 to 21 (average 14.8), which was higher than that of other Cucurbitaceae vegetables while the vent number of the greenhouse with a roof ventilation fan was average 7 per a bay.

KTX 물금역 정차 확정이 양산시 철도 이용자에게 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study of the Effect of the KTX Mulgeum Station Stop on Railroad Users in Yangsan City)

  • 본 연구는 금번 일반철도가 정차하는 물금역이 KTX 정차역으로 확정됨에 따라 변화된 KTDB와 사회경제 지표를 반영하여 달라지는 교통 환경과 경제성 효과를 예측하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 자료를 분석하기 위해 전국 및 양산시를 중심으로 관련 통계자료를 참고한 사회경제 지표 및 교통시설 운영의 일반현황을 조사하였다. 또한 국토개발 및 교통망 구축에 관련된 국가 상위계획인 철도시설 건설계획 및 열차 운영계획에 대해서도 조사하고 참고하였다. 현재 양산시 물금역에 정차하는 일반철도는 ITX(4회/일)와 무궁화호(29회/1일) 뿐이어서 양산지역 열차승객은 고속철도를 이용할 수 없는 실정이다. 특히 양산지역 철도 이용객들은 KTX를 이용하기 위해서는 울산역까지 40분과 구포역까지 30분을 이동해야 하는 교통 불편을 가지고 있어 KTX 물금역 정차 필요성이 지속적으로 제기되어 왔다. 이번에 KTX 물금역 정차가 확정됨에 따라 장래 변화되는 철도교통 수요를 분석한 결과, 물금역 승하차는 2025년 기준 1,674인/일인 것으로 예측되었다. 또한, 물금역 정차로 인해 울산역과 구포역에서 전환되는 열차승객 수요는 2025년 기준 승차 승객은 594인/일, 하차 승객은 562인/일으로 예측되었다. 향후 양산 시민이 KTX 물금역을 이용할 경우, 물금역 접근 시간은 22분~65분까지 단축이 가능하다. 또한 철도 간(일반철도→고속철도) 환승의 불편함이 해소될 뿐만 아니라 환승 대기시간은 최대 40분까지 시간절감의 효과가 있는 것으로 예측되었다. 따라서 KTX 물금역 정차로 인한 경제성 효과는 일반철도 운영비 미고려 시 B/C는 1.823로 나타났고, 일반철도 운영비 고려 시 B/C는 2.127로 분석되었다. 결론적으로, KTX를 이용하여 수도권을 방문할 경우, 울산역이나 구포역을 이용하지 않고 물금역을 이용하면 2시간 43분이 소요되어 통행시간 단축 및 경제성 평가에서 효과가 매우 클 것으로 분석되었으며, 향후 양산시는 고속철도 이용의 오지란 불명예에서 벗어나 수도권까지의 접근성과 이동성을 보다 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대되어진다.

Effect of Early Seeding on Seedling Establishment and Yield in Direct Dry Seeding Rice at Honam Plain Area of Korea

  • To examine the seedling stand and growth as affected by early seeding dates of dry direct seeded rice in the Honam plain area of Korea, Dongjinbyeo was seeded at six seeding dates from early March to late April in rice fields of silty loam soil(Jeonbuk series) at the National Honam Agricultural Experiment Station (NHAES) for two years, 1996 and 1998. Seedling stand decreased slightly. with an early seeding date, but it produced more than the optimum seedling number except for the seeding of 25 March in 1996. Days to emergence was significantly longer, as seeding date was earlier, and days to emergence by early seeding was shortened only by 8 days because the mean air temperature was lower in 1996 than average, while in 1998, the reduction effect was nine to twenty five days because the mean air temperature was higher than average. In early seeding, various weeds occurred at the emergence date of rice and dominant weeds were Alopecurus aequailis, Ludwigia prostata and Rorippa islandica. NH$_4$$^{+}$ -N content in the soil at the 5th leaf stage and maximum tillering stage were lower, as the seeding date was earlier when nitrogen was split applied as basal and top dressed in 1996, while it was not significantly different among seeding dates when nitrogen was intensively applied as a top dressing in 1998. Tiller number at the maximum tillering stage and panicle number/m$^2$ were more, as seeding date was earlier in 1996, while it was not different in 1998. Filled grain rate and 1,000 grain weight was not different among the seeding dates. Milled rice yield was significantly decreased in the seeding before the middle of March, but in the seeding after late March, it was not varied when compared with the normal seeding date in 1996, while in 1998, there was no difference among seeding dates. From the above results, in consideration of seedling stand, weed occurance, rice growth and milled rice yield, the critical optimum early seeding time in the southern plain area may lie in early April. But it was suggested that when soil moisture is proper for seeding practices, seeding amount is increased and nitrogen is applied after plumule emergence of rice, milled rice yield may not be reduced in the seeding of middle or late March, compared with the seeding in April.l.

청송 양수발전소 시공사례 (A Case Study on the Chungsong Pumped-storage power station Construction)

  • The pumped-storage power system is the one of the hydroelectric power systems, generating electricity with hydraulic head difference. In this system, the electricity is produced during the hours of peak demand by using water that has been pumped into an upper reservoir from a lower reservoir during the hours of low demand. Generally, the system consists of an under-ground power house and tunnels such as the headrace, pressure, and tailrace tunnels. The Chungsong pumped-storage power station is the sixth one In the pumped-storage power station in Korea. Both the regional self-government and the population of chungsong -Goon had made a great effort to draw this power station construction into this area. The proposed Chungsong pumped-power station construction project was accepted by the central government as a part of the national electricity plan for the first time in Korea.

금강.공주부근 수역의 식물성플랑크톤 (On the Phytoplanktons of the Geum River near Gongju)

  • Phytoplanktons and environmental conditions in the Geum River near Gongju were investigated at three stations in July, 1979. Fifty eight kinds of hytoplanktons were identified and of these, Cyanophyta and Chlorophyta in this area appeared more in the number of species than that in the Han River. The number of species of Chlorophyta was double or more at station 2 and station 3 which were situated near Gongju than at station 1, upperstream of Gongju and the number of species of phytoplankton was also higher at station 2 and station 3 than at station 1. In physicochemcial conditons, water temperature at all of three stations was lower than air temperature and pH might have no significance among these three stations. All of these three stations were characterized as the slower flowing water type of downstream in diatom river community.

다트판형 공간분할 기법을 이용한 서울지역 지하철 역세권 분석 (Geo-spatial Analysis of the Seoul Subway Station Areas Using the Haversine Distance and the Azimuth Angle Formulas)

  • This paper investigated the human distribution in subway station areas in Seoul, using geotweets and subway ridership data. Eight stations were selected from the districts of Gangnam and Gangbuk. Geotweets located within a 600-meter radius of the central coordinates of each station were extracted, and distances between the center of station and each tweet location were calculated. Donut-shaped dimension and pie-shaped dimension were generated, using the Haversine distance formula and the Azimuth angle formula respectively. By combining the two dimensions, Dartboard-shaped space division is created. Popular places within the subway station areas identified from this research are almost the same as the current well-known popular places, and this is an important case showing that people send tweets from various places where they engage in daily activities. We expect this study can be a methodological guideline for social scientists who use spatio-temporal or GPS data for their research.
