The purpose of this study was to understand the Korean teenagers\` clothing behavior through pointing out the factors that clothing behavior of teenagers that was initiated from the important reference group, TV stars. The subject of this study were 570 purposively selected students at female middle and high school students in Seoul. The results were as follows : 1. The clothing conformity to TV stars relating to demographic variables was influenced significantly by location and personal expense variable in the high school group. 2. The exhibition showed a more important role to the clothing conformity in middle school group than in high school group. 3. The clothing conformity to TV stars relating to the clothing related variables was significantly affected by self-confidence to clothing than clothing normative recognition, clothing risk recognition and degree of clothing importance regardless of groups. 4. The clothing conformity to TV stars relating to TV media variables was affected by TV media star identification variable in both groups. And in case of middle school group, interests in TV stars also had influence on the clothing conformity to TV stars. And in case of high school group, interests in TV had effect on the imitation to TV stars\` clothing. As middle school students tend to have self-identification about a particular person, TV media stars become the reference group for the adolescence to follow their clothing.

The ever-evolving Internet environment along with changes in the mass media has been creating a new way of communicating in the virtual cyber world. The Internet users have more services at their disposal to communicate with ease. Such a new way of communication styles, however, makes them vulnerable to personal information leakage, increasing the concerns of cyber security. A thorny issue is how we can control the disclosure of personal information. Lately, the Korean government implemented privacy policies to resolve and prevent personal information leakage incidents that incur social problems. Here, we seek to identify problems in the privacy policies for better solutions.

In this article, a new method is introduced to improve the local search capability of meta-heuristic algorithms using the projection of the path on the border of constraints. In a mathematical point of view, the Gradient Projection Method is applied through a new approach, while the imposed limitations are removed. Accordingly, the gradient vector is replaced with a new meta-heuristic based vector. Besides, the active constraint identification algorithm, and the projection method are changed into less complex approaches. As a result, if a constraint is violated by an agent, a new path will be suggested to correct the direction of the agent's movement. The presented procedure includes three main steps: (1) the identification of the active constraint, (2) the neighboring point determination, and (3) the new direction and step length. Moreover, this method can be applied to some meta-heuristic algorithms. It increases the chance of convergence in the final phase of the search process, especially when the number of the violations of the constraints increases. The method is applied jointly with the authors' newly developed meta-heuristic algorithm, entitled Star Graph. The capability of the resulted hybrid method is examined using the optimal design of truss and frame structures. Eventually, the comparison of the results with other meta-heuristics of the literature shows that the hybrid method is successful in the global as well as local search.

This paper presents a sensing system for smart home which can detect an location transition events such as entrance/exit of a member and identify the user in a group at the same time. The proposed system is compose of two sub-systems; a wireless sensor network system and a database server system. The wireless sensing system is designed as a star network where each of sensing modules with ultrasonic sensors and a Bluetooth RF module connect to a central receiver called Bluetooth access point. We propose a method to discriminate a user by measuring the height of the user. The differences in the height of users is a key feature for discrimination. At the same time, the each sensing module can recognize whether the user goes into or out a room by using two ultrasonic sensors. The server subsystem is a sort of data logging system which read the detected event from the access point and then write it into a database system. The database system could provide the location transition information to wide range of context-aware applications for smart home easily and conveniently. We evaluate the developed method with experiments for three subjects in a family with the installation of the developed system into a real house.

Objectives Although the word Zheng (證) is widely used basic term in nowaday's East Asian traditional medicine, it's definition can't be found in ancient texts before 20th century, and the history in which that term got general meaning in public, have not been clearly introduced. So the present author show the way Zheng confirm it's modern implication. Methods To search the books that contain any contents on Zheng's definition, the author mainly used the electronic texts of Super Star Reader (超星閱讀器). To search modern study article on Zheng's definition, the author used China National Knowledge Infrastructure (www.cnki.net). Results The present study shows that : although Treatments according to disease Pattern Identification (辨證施治) have been prominent treatment modality in East Asian traditional medicine, the general definition of disease Pattern (證) was given in late 20th century. Especially from 1955 to 1965, some major scholars like Ren Ying Qiu (任應秋), Zhu Yan (朱顔), Qin Bo Wei (秦伯未) and Jiang Jian Fu (蔣見復) did important roles in it's concept creation. Conclusions Modern concept of Zheng (證) was defined in late 20th century.

The present study aims to explore the influence of BTS, which is popular around the world. Specifically, it aims to look at differences between Korean and Chinese BTS female fandom. Besides, it also explores factors affecting fandom's daily happiness. The study conducted a survey with Korean and Chinese female fans. Findings from surveys suggest that first, there are differences on star attributes, fandom activity and illusory romance between Korean and Chinese female fandom. Specifically, Chinese female fandom's professionalism and artistic attractiveness which are included in star attributes, and illusory romance which is gained in fandom activity are higher than Korean. In addition, Korean female fans actively participated in offline fandom activities, while Chinese female fans actively participated in online fandom activities. Second, it is found that fandom activity, star identification and illusory romance have positive effects on daily happiness. Based on these findings, implication, limitations, and topics for future research are discussed.

남십자자리(Crux)는 현재 북반구 중위도 지역에서는 관측할 수 없는 별자리지만 고대 중국의 전통 별자리 체계가 성립되던 시기인 춘추전국시대만 하더라도 지평선 부근에서 쉽게 관측할 수 있는 별자리였다. 우리는 세차운동 계산을 통해 남십자자리가 출몰성에서 전몰성으로 변했음을 확인하였고, 고대 중국의 문헌 기록과 성표, 성도의 별자리 그림 분석을 통해 남십자자리의 밝은 4개의 별이 중국의 전통 별자리인 고루성(庫褸星)과 일치함을 확인하였다. 또한 남십자자리가 관측되던 시기와 관측되지 않던 시기에 각각 작성되었던 성표와 성도 분석을 통해 고루성의 별자리 모양이 점차 변형되어 갔음을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 서양의 천문기술이 중국에 전해 진 이후 진행된 동서양의 별자리 상호 비교 및 동정 결과들을 분석하여 중국의 전통 별자리 체계에서 어떻게 고루성이 완전히 배제되게 되었는지에 대한 논의를 포함, 본 연구의 초기 결과들을 발표할 예정이다.

Magnetars are neutron stars powered by strong magnetic field (B > $10^{14}G$). Their spin period is in the range of 2 - 12s. The magnetic stress in the star may distort the crust (observed as outbursts), so magnetars (especially in outbursts) may emit gravitational waves. There are 29 magnetars known (potential gravitational waves sources), and increasing the number will increase the chance of detecting low-frequency gravitational waves. In addition, magnetars can be used for studying matter under extreme condition. In this study, we searched for more magnetars using extensive Chandra archival data and found 11 candidates. Due to the limited sensitivity of Chandra, form identification cannot be made, and more sensitivity X-ray data are needed.

Recent studies of galaxy clusters have shown that the galaxy clusters in dense environment tend to have lower star formation rate in local universe with z < 1. However, this correlation is not significant in galaxy clusters with z > 1. The study of galaxy clusters around z=1 can yield insight into cosmological galaxy evolution. Nevertheless, the identification of galaxy clusters beyond the scope of immediate local universe requires wide field data in optical and near-infrared bands. By incorporating data from Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope Legacy Survey(CFHTLS) and Infrared Medium-Deep Survey(IMS), the photometric redshifts of galaxies in CFHTLS W2 field were calculated. Using spatial distribution and photometric redshifts, the galaxies in the field were divided into redshift bins. The image of each redshift bin was analyzed by measuring the number density within proper distance of 1Mpc. By comparing high density regions in consecutive redshift bins, we identified the cluster candidates and mapped the large-scale structure within the CFHTLS W2 field.

The purpose of this study is considering about drag queen's costume in the point of view of anthropology and psychoanalysis. The contents are the meaning of drag queen by theoretical research and the characteristics of drag queen's costume. The results of characteristics of drag queen's costume are summerized as following. 1. Sexual originality is related with homosexuality. Costume express character of gay not as a transsexual or cross-dresser. 2. Imitation is related with identification of drag queen and famous star like actress, pop singer and historical heroine. 3. Amusement is related with drag queen's life style. There are two kinds of character in amusement. One is humour. Another is an exaggeration. 4. Commercialism is related with mass-media culture. Drag queen's costume have an influence with movie, advertisement and modern fashion.
