  • This paper proposes an object-oriented software development guidance and an evaluation index for the productivity related to Seam Framework. Heavyweight and lightweight architecture to resolve the problem with benefits to support the new architecture is a large size distributed object standardization architecture. This architecture, such as the Seam Framework, to provide all of the architecture is possible. The distributed object standardization architecture is most often used in business Seam Framework is well-known architecture. Therefore, this study is based on the Seam Framework large distributed object architecture, design and implementation of JPetStore order system based standardization software development productivity and the objective is to provide guidance.

  • The aim of this study is to establish the actual conditions of the exhibition's facilities, especially on the focus of the exhibition booth. In general, exhibition booths are perfectly advanced on time. So, we surveyed on 14 convention center which each province has one or two in nation, and then analysed types of exhibition focused on booth type. Second survey of exhibition of booth exhibition in COEX. We find that the present system of the booth's design, however, neither meets this qualification nor has the standard one. And they also have no recycling and reusing of it. Therefore, our study makes a suggestion that the present booth system will be replaced with new one. The conclusion of this study is as follow; firstly, the booth of iron system which has standardization, but it needs to prove design. and the booth of wood system which has various design, to prove standardization. Secondly, mixed booth of iron and wood system that is able to require from users will be designed as soon. Finally, there are several types of exhibition booth that have a flexibility as follows; rectangle system, triangle system, and freely system.

Standardization and Method Selection for the Trenchless Repair Technology of Sewer using Cured-in-place Pipe

  • The trenchless entire repair technology (TERT) have many different names depending on the companies, and they have the same or similar methods as well as materials. In addition, there was quiet difficulty in application of field working and even confuse to classify for new TERT, while application criteria of TERT is not listed systematically. This study proposed standardization and method for TERT affecting by pipe condition, working materials, working method, specification/quantity per unit according to field condition, strange affairs and others. Determination criteria of defective sewer pipe has proposed to effective method which modify a criteria between Ministry of Environment and Seoul Metropolitan City. A Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is suitable for TERT, and the design criteria for the entire broken pipe are proposed when the pipe itself deforms more than 10%. A check lists are specimen preparing, hardening site made by clamped mold, numbers, flexural and tensile property, water leak and desquamation test, and have to use material property of minimum CIPP value depend on ISO 11296-4, ISO 11297-4, KS M3550-7 and KS M3550-9.

A Study on The Education of Medical Classics through Flipped Learning (Flipped Learning을 통한 원전학 교육에 대한 연구)

  • Objective : The college of Korean medicine uses a variety of Korean medical classics. Thus, in order to overcome the natural difference of the details of their curriculum, this paper aims to study the usage of Flipped Learning as a way of standardizing the curriculum that teach Korean medical classics. Method : One effective teaching and learning methodology, which is called for by the changing educational paradigm, is Flipped Learning. To introduce this learning method, which is actively applied to different curriculum, the paper revises the goal of learning objectives and introduces a teaching model of Flipped Learning in order to suggest the standardization of Korean medical educations through the re-design of the curriculum for Korean medical classics. Result : The professors of the Korean medical classics must work together to use the revised learning objectives and teaching model and create a set of lectures to serve as a basis of educational standardization. Conclusion : The standardization of the education of Korean medical classics through the Flipped Learning method could pre-emptively deal with the Korean medical doctor's capacity model that is in development now.

A Study on the Purchasing Practice for Standardization System for Purchasing School Uniforms (교복 구매 표준화를 위한 소비자 구매 실태 조사 연구)

  • This study suggests basic data for the standardization of school uniform purchase by examining the statistics of purchasing practice school uniforms from information sources, purchasing methods, and consumer' perception about collaborative purchases. A survey was conducted with first grade male and female middle-school students, and their parents. A total of 344 questionnaires were returned and analyzed. The results were as follows: first, when making purchases, information sources were explained by parents, friends, senior students, or workers at uniform shops. The purchasing methods were popular brand uniforms or specialized uniform shops. Second, four factors were extracted from purchasing data for factor analysis. The factors were comfort, appearance, service, other external factors, and promotions. Third, the perception analysis and need of collaborative purchases were indicated by 90% of the students' parents, who were aware of collaborative purchase. Additionally, 71.2% answered collaborative purchase was necessary. Fourth, for future uniform purchases, 75.6% of the students answered to buy more popular brands, or products from specialized school uniform shops, while 54.4% of the parents answered positively to collaborative purchases. The results of the examination of consumer school uniform purchasing behavior will provide useful strategies for the standardization system for purchasing school uniforms.

Virtual Standards Development Environments for Concurrent Standardization Process

  • Recently, the increased handling of on-line standards information has emerged as an important feature of information and communications technology (ICT) standardization. In order to meet market needs for on-time standards deployment, most standards organizations are actively seeking more efficient ways of standardization using electronic means in order to accelerate the standards making process. This paper suggests a virtual standard development environment designed for standards developers to carry out their standards-related activities on-line. In this paper, we outline a conceptual model of a concurrent standardization process and describe the design and implementation of an Extranet-based network system called standards information cooperative network (SICN). The system was created with a view to fostering faster standards development with functionalities such as a virtual management of networked standards developers, collaboration support tools, a workflow-based electronic signature system, and dynamic links for ready retrieval of standards information stored in a database. We conclude this paper with an introduction to the concept of a virtual standards development organization (VSDO) that supports all the features needed by the relevant standards making bodies to carry out their activities in a dynamic on-line environment.

  • Major developed countries are seriously considering smart factories to increase their manufacturing competitiveness. Smart factory is a customized factory that incorporates ICT in the entire process from product planning to design, distribution and sales. This can reduce production costs and respond flexibly to the consumer market. The smart factory converts physical signals into digital signals, connects machines, parts, factories, manufacturing processes, people, and supply chain partners in the factory to each other, and uses the collected data to enable the smart factory platform to operate intelligently. Enhancing personalized value is the key. Therefore, it can be said that the success or failure of a smart factory depends on whether big data is secured and utilized. Standardized communication and collaboration are required to smoothly acquire big data inside and outside the factory in the smart factory, and the use of big data can be maximized through big data analysis. This study examines big data analysis and standardization in smart factory. Manufacturing innovation by country, smart factory construction framework, smart factory implementation key elements, big data analysis and visualization, etc. will be reviewed first. Through this, we propose services such as big data infrastructure construction process, big data platform components, big data modeling, big data quality management components, big data standardization, and big data implementation consulting that can be suggested when building big data infrastructure in smart factories. It is expected that this proposal can be a guide for building big data infrastructure for companies that want to introduce a smart factory.

Standardization Trend and Propulsion Strategy of Wind Power Generation (풍력발전 표준화 동향 및 추진전략)

  • Recent alarming acceleration of global warming has made power generations using renewable energy to be in the middle of the spotlight. Korean government has also announced that it will make the related industry to be nation's one of main export items with high investments to low carbon green growth industry. To achieve this goal of exporting the renewable energy power generation system beyond domestic use, internationally acceptable rules should be applied and the three step processes of design, performance assessment and certification should follow international standards. Corresponding this international requests, IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) is conducting the establishment of rules in TC88 for technical requirements of wind turbines. Design life-time of a wind turbine is required to be at least 20 years. In the meantime, the wind turbine will experience a lot of load cases such as extreme loads and fatigue loads which will include several typhoons per year and extreme gusts with 50 years recurrence period as well as endless turbulence flow. Therefore, IEC 61400-1 specifies design load cases to be considered in the wind turbine design and requires the wind turbine to withstand the load cases in various operational situations. It thus appears that the examination of contents and decisions discussed in the international standard committee will help people in the field of offshore wind energy and ocean energy converters.
