무창 비육돈사에서 습식공기정화기의 여름철 공기정화효율 분석 (An Air Cleaning Efficiencies of Wet Air Cleaner in the Windowless Swine Fattening Stall in Summer)

  • The climate of stall significantly influences on animal production ability. High concentration of ammonia gas, $CO_2$ and lots of dust are found in modern densely raising stall system, as results, they provide a negative influence on animal and farmer health, and production ability. Therefore, it is necessary to keep clean the inside air of stall to increase the productivity. An air cleaner of wet type, consisting of a fan, a motor, rotating discs, a dust collector, a water bowl, an ozone generator etc, has been developed to clean the stall air. The work principle is that the inside air is sucked through the fan, and the rotating discs make water into fineness spray and blow into the stall. The rest water flows down to the dust collector. In the present study, we measured the dust, ammonia gas, odor, temperature and humidity in a swine stall that were installed two wet air cleaners with 700 fattening swine with On-mode and Off-mode of wet air cleaners. The dust measure was divided into 3 categories, TSP, $PM_{10}$, and $PM_{2.5}$. In summer, the TSP in on-mode were maximum $0.259mg/m^3$ and minimum $0.128mg/m^3$, and the average was $0.195mg/m^3$. These are comparable to the data from Off-mode stall that maximum $0.308mg/m^3$, minimum $0.139mg/m^3$, and average $0.277mg/m^3$. However, $PM_{10}$ and $PM_{2.5}$ showed any significant differences between the tests. The concentrations of ammonia gas in Off-mode stall were maximum 13.8 ppm and minimum 5.9 ppm, and the average was 8.47 ppm. However in On-mode stall the ammonia gas concentrations were maximum 10.5 ppm and minimum 5.5 ppm, and the average was 7.63 ppm. The concentration of ammonia gas in On-mode was 10% in average lower than off-mode stall. Odor was measured by olfactometer. In the Off-mode stall, the odor unit were maximum 420 $Ou/m^3$ and minimum $300\;OU/m^3$, and the average was $367\;OU/m^3$, but in the On-mode stall the odor unit were maximum $330\;OU/m^3$ and minimum $210\;OU/m^3$, and the average was $253\;OU/m^3$. Odor removal efficiency was about 31% in On-mode stall.

다단 천음속 압축기의 유동 불안정성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Research on Aerodynamic Instabilities in a Multi Stage Transonic Axial Compressor)

  • This study presents unsteady and unstable characteristics of three stage transonic axial compressor, developed by Korea Aerospace Research Institute. As approaching to the unstable operating region at the 103% design speed of the compressor, a modal type stall precursor appears in front of highly loaded 3rd rotor row at first, and it propagates to the upstream. On the contrary, actual stall cell initiates from the stall precursor in front of the 1st rotor row, and it propagates to the downstream of the compressor. After the stall region reached the 3rd stage and stall cell rotates circumferentially about 360 deg, it develops to one dimensional compressor surge mode. It shows a mild surge behaviour with 3~4 Hz frequency. From the test data, it can be suggested that there is a priority to give an optimum blade loading distributions to construct a multi stage transonic axial compressor stages either to secure more stable compressor operating ranges, or to maximize the compressor efficiency.

Therefore, it is necessary to keep clean the inside of stall air to increase the productivity. A wet type air cleaner has been developed to clean the stall air. The work principle is that the inside air are sucked through the fan, and the rotating discs make a water into a fineness spray and blows into the stall. The spray can take the dust, $NH_3$, and odor from the stall inside air and give back to the circulating water, which can be refreshed in 2 hours interval. In the Present study, we measured the $NH_3$, dust, odor, temperature and humidity in a swine stall that were installed two wet air cleaners with 700 fattening swine with on-mode and off-mode of wet air cleaners. In fall, the concentrations of $NH_3$ in off-mode stall were maximum 24 ppm and minimum 16 prm, and the average was 18.2 ppm. However in on-mode stall the $NH_3$ concentrations were maximum 7ppm and minimum 1ppm, and the average was 2.7ppm. The concentration of $NH_3$ in on-mode was 74% lower than off-mode stall. Odor was measured by olfactometer. In the off-mode stall, the odor unit was 3,800 OU/$m^3$, but in the on-mode stall the odor unit was 2,100 OU/$m^3$ Odor removal efficiency was about 45% in on-mode stall. The dust measure was divided into 3 categories, $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$ and $PM_{1.0}$. Whereas the $PM_{10}$ showed no significant differences between the tests, $PM_{2.5}$ and $PM_{1.0}$ in the fine particle range reduced remarkably in the on-mode.

돼지 축분자원화물의 발생 및 배출부하 원단위 산정에 관한 연구 (A study on the estimation of unit load generation and discharge from livestock resources of piggery)

  • 본 연구에서는 돼지 분 뇨 및 폐수의 오염물 부하를 조사 및 분석함으로써 다양한 형태의 돼지 돈사로부터 발생 및 배출되는 오염물 부하 원단위를 산정한 결과는 다음과 같다. 오염물질의 발생부하 원단위는 돼지의 성장단계에 비례하여 증가하였으나, 돈사의 형태에 따른 발생부하 원단위는 각 돈사별 평균값을 고려할 때 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 3계절과 생체 중량을 고려한 평균 분뇨 발생량은 분이 1.49kg/head/d, 뇨가 3.08kg/head/d로서 총 4.57kg/head/d가 발생하였다. 돈사의 형태와 계절을 고려한 최종적인 평균 오염물질 발생부하 원단위는 BOD 199.5g/head/d, $COD_{cr}\;413.5g/head/d$, T-N 27.8g/head/d, T-P가 5.3g/head/d로 나타났다. 시멘트 돈사에서 배출되는 폐수의 배출부하 원단위는 BOD 31.3g/head/d, $COD_{cr}\;95.6g/head/d$, T-N 8.9g/head/d, T-P가 3.1g/head/d로 조사되었다. 분의 수거율(80%, 90%)을 고려한 분의 발생부하 원단위와 시멘트 돈사의 폐수발생 원단위의 합을 슬러리 돈사의 배출부하 원단위와 비교 시, 오염물질과 항목별로 다소의 차이는 있으나 거의 유사하였다.

파워 조절 방법에 따른 풍력 터빈의 방사 소음 특성 (Characteristics of Noise Emission from Wind Turbine According to Methods of Power Regulation)

  • In the development of electricity generating wind turbines for wind farm application, only two types have survived as the methods of power regulation; stall regulation and full span pitch control. The main purpose of this paper is to experimentally identify the characteristics of noise emission of wind turbines according to the power regulation types. The sound measurement procedures of IEC 61400-11 are applied to field test and evaluation of noise emission from each of 1.5 MW and 660 kW wind turbines (WT) utilizing the stall regulation and the pitch control for the power regulation, respectively. Apparent sound power level, wind speed dependence, third-octave band levels and tonality are evaluated for both of WTs. It is observed that equivalent continuous sound pressure levels (ECSPL) of the stall control type of WT continue to increase with increasing wind speed whereas those of the pitch control type of WT show less correlation with wind speed. These observed characteristics are believed to be due to the different airflow patterns around the blade between the stall regulation and the pitch control types of WT; the airflow on the suction side of blade in the stall types of WT are separated at the high wind speed. It is also found that the 1.5 MW WT using the stall control emits lower sound power than 660 kW one using the pitch control at wind speeds below 8m/s, whereas sound power of the former becomes higher than that of the latter in the wind speed over 8m/s. This wind-speed dependence of sound power leads to the very different noise omission characteristics of WTs depending on the seasons because the average wind speed in summer is lower than 8m/s whereas that in summer is higher. Based on these experimental observations, it is proposed that, in view of environmental noise regulation, the developer of wind farm should give enough considerations to the choice of power regulation of their WTG based on the weather conditions of potential wind farm locations.

정지 비행에서의 곤충 날개 궤적에 따른 공기역학적 특성 (The effect of aerodynamic characteristics on the insect wing tip trajectory in hovering flight)

  • Insect flight is adapted to cope with each circumstance by controlling a variety of the parameters of wing motion in nature. Many researchers have struggled to solve the fundamental concept of insect flight, but it has not been solved yet clearly. In this study, to find the most effective flapping wing kinematics, we conducted to analyze CFD data on fixing some of the optimal parameters of wing motion such as stoke amplitude, flip duration and wing rotation type and then controlled the deviation angle by fabricating wing tip motion. Although all patterns have the similar value of lift coefficient and drag coefficient, pattern A(pear-shape type) indicates the highest lift coefficient and pattern H(pear-shape type) has the lowest lift coefficient among four wing tip motions and three deviation angles. This result suggest that the lift and drag coefficient depends on the angle of attack and the deviation angle combined, and it could be explained by delayed stall effect.

  • 본 논문은 KC-100 소형민항기의 스핀시험을 위해 장착될 스핀회복장치의 설계 및 지상활주 전개 시험에 대해 기술하였다. 스핀회복장치에 대한 상세 설계 단계에서 공력, 구조, 안정성, 조종성 등에 대한 해석적 결과를 토대로 낙하산 단위면적당 라이저 길이, 낙하산 다공성, 낙하산 펼침 시간, 및 전개방법 등의 설계 변수를 결정했다. 본 시스템의 검증을 위해 항공기에 스핀회복장치를 장착한 상태에서 기능점검 후 KC-100 고속활주 중 스핀슈트 전개를 수행했다.

  • The influence of different grids on numerical prediction of subsonic compressor performance and stall was investigated. Two types of grids were examined, structured H type grid and structured O-H type grid. Evaluations were conducted by comparing the numerical results with experimental results obtained from a low-speed single-stage rig test for a new concept compressor, called diffuser passage compressor, aiming at improving tip clearance sensitivity. At low mass flow operating conditions, the numerical calculation with O-H type grid showed that the lowest mass flow operating point for which the calculation was able to converge was almost the same as the lowest steady mass flow obtained from the rig test. On the other hand, the numerical calculation with structured H type grid diverged at higher mass flow operating point. It was found that this difference was attributed to the effect of double-valuedness of H type grid that existed at leading edge on the boundary layer development on the blade surface.

  • This paper aims to clarify the spatial form and functional characteries of traditional market place in Seomjin river. The objects of this study are Gokseong, Gurye, Soonchang, and Okgok market place. The results are as follows. First, the form of the traditional market that it was open focusing on large open space of a village was maintained until now. Second, the spatial form of a market place surrounds market-shop located at the center of a market, and a permanent market-store is located in a line. Spatial element important for constituting a market place is three, market-shop, stall, and the mall of market place, and each spatial element is functioning in linkage. The unit space of market-shop is mainly determined by between pillars, and a store is opened. And the same type of industry adjoins, and market-shop's forms a fixed domain and is distributed. The stall is located with many kinds and forms at street mall, and it is taking charge of the important function of trade.
