병원행정직의 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도가 감성지능에 미치는 융복합적 영향 (Convergence Influence of Ego-resiliency, Organizational Loyalty and Organizational Commitment on Emotional Intelligence among Hospital Administrative Staffs)

  • 병원행정직의 자아탄력성, 조직충성도, 조직헌신도 및 감성지능 간의 관련성과 이러한 요인들이 감성지능에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 병원행정직에서 이들 요인들과 감성지능 간의 관련성을 조사하고, 감성지능에 미치는 융복합적 영향을 파악해 보았다. 조사대상자는 J지역에서 무작위 선정한 19개 병원의 행정직 212명을 임의 추출하였다. 자료수집은 2019년 5월 1일부터 31일까지의 1달여 기간 동안에 실시되었다. 설문지의 형식은 구조화된 무기명 자기기입식을 사용하였다. 감성지능은 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도와 정(+)의 상관관계가 있었다. 공분산구조분석 결과, 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도가 높아질수록 감성지능을 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 분석결과, 병원행정직의 감성지능을 높이기 위해서는 자아탄력성, 조직충성도 및 조직헌신도를 제고하는 노력이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 조사결과는 병원행정직의 감성지능을 상향시키는 병원직무관리 및 산업보건교육의 기초자료로 활용이 기대된다. 향후연구에서는 병원행정직의 감성지능과 관련된 추가요인과 다양한 감정적인 요인들의 분석이 필요하다고 본다.

노인전문요양시설의 일상생활 지원 서비스 작업흐름 분석 -식사 및 목욕공간을 중심으로 - (Daily Living Service Flowing in Skilled Nursing Facilities for the Elderly -Focused on Dining and Bathing Area-)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic information about efficient space use in the dining and bathing area through the analysis of service flowing. Four researchers observed the service flowing and the using behavior at those areas. The results of the study were as follows: Dining service was proceeded as resident moving, waiting, meal serving, dining, moving and arranging in order. The waiting stage was one of the problematic processes since the staffs made the residents wait to) long at a fixed position. The program right before the meal serving will be helpful for reducing tediousness of the elderly residents. Another problem was that the area was not big enough for the meal sowing. The legal regulation Is needed to prescnbe for the size of dining area per resident. The flowing of bathing service was proceeded as staff preparation, moving, waiting, undressing, bathing, drying, dressing, moving and arranging in order. There were more problems in the dressing area than in the bathing area. The elderly with stretcher or wheelchairs had difficulty in entering the narrow doorway. The dressing area was so crowded with the staffs, undressed elderly, dressed elderly, and other laundries. The division of dressing and undressing area is required to avoid the confusion of the users in the area.

심장외과 중환자실 일반간호사의 업무분석 (Job Analysis of the Staff Nurse in Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to provide for a basic resource, which can be used to set up a efficient management system in Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Units(CSICU). Method: 1) Questionnaires were administered and observation methods were used, to examine the nursing activities performed in the CSICU after having reviewed related literatures and a review by the experts. Thus, the nursing activities were designating 254 activities and classified into 28 categories. 2)The 22 nurses in the 2 CSICUs filled out questionnaires about nursing activities from 12 April, 2002 to 17 April, 2002. The frequency of the nursing activities in the 28 categories counted and new nursing activities added by directly observing 12 nurses by two trained research staffs for 4 day. 3)In terms of validity, the 264 nursing activities were analysed by the 25 experts. As a result, 231 nursing activities were found valid and remained as appropriate nursing activities to be used for the careful analysis of the nursing activities in CSICUs. Result: The 22 categories are as below: assessment, monitoring, respiration management, nutrition management, elimination/drainage management, mobility management, sanitation management, safety management, temperature management, specimens collection, preparation and assistance of treatment, skin/wound management, infection management, medication management, education/support, dying patient care, recording/keeping, supplies management, environment management, communications, evaluations, professional development Conclusion : The manifest job description of the staff nurse will contribute to improving the efficiency of the nursing activities and to reducing the role conflicts among the medical staffs.

해외투자 한인기업 노사관계의 현지화: 미원인도네시아 사례연구 (Localization of Labor Relations in Overseas Korean Company: A Case Study of PT. Miwon Indonesia)

  • Localization of overseas Korean companies has been regarded as one of vital tasks or strategies for decades. However, labor relations have not been the main object of Korean academic researchers. In this paper, I attempt to analyze strategies of localization in labor relations adopted by overseas Korean companies through a qualitative case study of PT. Miwon Indonesia, which has run business successfully for 40 years with recently achieved industrial peace. The company minimized Korean staffs and maximized Indonesian staffs. It pays more than minimum wage, and observes labor law when using outsourcing workers. The managers of the company recognize their labor union as management partner and support union activities through paying bonus for the union head and travel allowances for solidarity gatherings. There is no discrimination between plural unions. Furthermore, collective bargaining is led by indigenous managers according to the musyawarah, a local principle of bargaining. Therefore, PT. Miwon Indonesia could be regarded as a forerunner of localization in labor management among Korean companies in Indonesia. Miwon's case will serve a useful reference when discussing localization of labor management strategies.

  • Staff scheduling is an important area, both from an academic and industrial point of view. It has become increasingly important as business becomes more service oriented and cost conscious in a global environment. There has been a lot of study to develop new and efficient staff scheduling models and methods. The purpose of this paper is not to develop new theoretical results but to develop a comprehensive user-friendly staffing model that can be applied to the real-world practice. The developed staffing software, OptStaff, provides the optimal configuration of the customer support center including the selection of customer support center locations, the allocation of staffs to each selected location, and schedules of staffs, so as to minimize the total cost while maximizing the customer satisfaction level. OptStaff also has capability to do scenario analysis by varying the levels of parameters and to create a variety of graphs and reports with user-friendly interfaces.

  • In this paper, there is the case study which assesses the systems engineering capability maturity of the safety organization that performs the Railway Safety project using systems engineering method. To In ore effective and efficient a research and development to railway safety domain, a new research and development method can be progressively needed such as systems engineering. To assess quantitatively research of systems engineering efforts in the railway safety project, SECM(EIA/IS 731) Standard is utilized in the paper. It is by questionnaire that the capability maturity assessment is executed wit h the safety organization and staffs who performs the systems engineering activities; requirement analysis and management, interface control management. product verification and validation, and so on. As a result, the systems engineering capability level of the safety organization rises from 0 level at the initial project to 2 level after two years and all staffs give an affirmative answer about the importance and effectiveness of the systems engineering approach.

일부 사립대학 교직원의 요통 관련인자에 관한 연구 (A study on the low back pain and its associated factors of the staffs in a university)

  • This study was performed to find the prevalence and the associated risk factors with low back pain(LBP) of the staffs in a university at Kwang-ju city. The data were collected by a questionnaire including SDS(self - rating depression Scale) battery from September 1st to October 15th, 1996. The results were as follows; 1. The prevalence rate of LBP during lifetime was 73.1%, 53.1% for the last one year, and 23.6% for the last one week. 2. Statistically significant factors related to LBP during lifetime were sex and satisfaction with job. Sex, smoking, alcohol drinking, occupation, work posture, forward bending of trunk and satisfaction with job were selected as significant factors related to LBP during the last one year. The significant determinants related with LBP during the last one week were sex, smoking, alcohol drinking, occupation, forward bending of trunk and satisfaction with job. 3. Through the analysis of self - rating depression scores according to LBP, respondents with LBP had the significantly higher value of physiological disturbances and lower value of psychomotor activities than those without LBP. 4. Through the multivariate logistic regression, significantly associated factors with LBP during lifetime were selected to be female(OR=2.63, 95% CI : $1.08\sim6.40$), dissatisfaction with job(OR=2.16, 95% CI : $1.16\sim4.15$), those for the last one year were chosen to be female(OR=2.30, 95% CI : $1.03\sim5.12$), forward bending of trunk(OR=2.18, 95% CI : $1.26\sim3.79$), dissatisfaction with job(OR=1.84, 95% CI : $1.06\sim3.21$), and those for the last one week were female(OR=3.00, 95% CI : $1.17\sim7.69$), forward bending of trunk(OR=2.85, 95% CI : $1.38\sim5.88$). In conclusion, for effective prevention of the LBP at work site, appropriate improvement of work posture and various psychological factors should be considered.

미국 대학 기계공학 실험교육 분석 및 제안 (Analysis and Suggestion on Experiment Education in Mechanical Engineering of Universities in USA)

  • This work investigated experiment education in mechanical engineering of universities in USA. Through the investigation, characteristics of each university were analyzed. Finally, the study suggested new contents of experiment education, full-time professors and staffs for experiment, cooperation with design and experiment education, and incentive for the development of experiment education.

  • Nursing staffing is of major interest in hospital management, however, no practical method has been developed. The present study proposed a mathematical model based on the patient classification system for nursing staffing optimization. A few characteristic parameters possibly determined experimentally and/or empirically were introduced followed by systematic calculation of the required number of nurses. An essential concept of the model is the unit work load defined as the amount of nursing work performed on single patient per unit time, where the work load is defined as the number of nursing staffs multiplied by the working hours. The unit work load was considered to vary with the patient classification level as well as the working time during a day, both of which were represented by corresponding parameter values. The number of patients for each class and the number of working hours were multiplied to the unit work load, and added up to obtain the total required work load. As the next step, the averaged number of hours that a nurse could provide per day was formulated considering the degree of nursing practice experience into 3 levels. Finally, the appropriate number of nursing staffs was calculated as the total work load divided by the average working hours per nurse. The present technique has a great advantage that the number of nursing staffs to fulfill the required work load is systematically calculated once the characteristic parameters are appropriately determined, leading to instant and fast evaluation. A practical PC program was also developed to apply the present model to nursing practice.
