차량주행시 동력전달계의 강제진동 해석 (Computer Simulation of Powertrain Forced Torsional Vibration)

  • For this study, the multi-degree of freedom analysis model of torsional vibration was developed. This model is combined with mass moment of inertia and torsional spring in two wheel drive and four wheel drive vehicle. We compared and analyzed torsional vibration characteristics by natural frequencies and mode shapes which are obtained by free vibration analysis of this model. And we studied torsional vibration contribution of driveline elements by performing the forced vibration analysis of engine excitation torque. The validity of this model is demonstrated by the field test. The reduction effect of the torsional vibration along the driveline design factor is presented by the analytical results.

  • Vehicle weight reduction is a known strategy to improve fuel efficiency and strengthen exhaust gas regulation. The use of high strength steel can satisfy safety, efficiency, emission, manufacturability, durability, and cost requirements. However, springback of high strength steel results in undesired shape defects. Springback is one of the most important issues of high strength steel for many applications in an automobile. Servo press has various capabilities to improve defects, process conditions, and productivity problems when forming a high strength steel. Especially, servo press can be set to function with variable slide motion in a single operation. In this study, the effect of servo press slide motion on 980MPa high strength steel was investigated through U-bending test.

  • In this paper, a numerical method for analyzing the interactions between train and track is presented. The effect of track irregularity on high speed running trains and track is examined by parametric studies. Two types of vertical track irregularity are considered. The first one is ideally assumed to a sine wave to investigate train and track behaviors with the change of its shape feasibly, The second one is artificially generated from PSD of track irregularity which was established from the measured data on real railways. In the track dynamic model, rail is considered to have a distributed mass and to be supported discretely at sleepers above ballast divided into three layers. Then, the contact between wheel and rail is modeled by a nonlinear Hertzian spring.

$\Omega$-형 벨로즈관의 성형을 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Analysis for Forming $\Omega$-type Bellows)

  • The purpose of the study is to form $\Omega$-type bellows without any defect by specific rollers which are designed based on the volume distribution technique. In the present paper, we proposed a forming process of existing U-type bellows to a value-added $\Omega$-type in a progressive manner. It was developed to shape a perfect $\Omega$-type bellows after preforming from initial U-type bellows to final U-type bellows. To examine the suggested 'processing condition design' some experiments were performed in a real scale. It was found out that the spring back effect played a major role in deviating the geometry of formed bellows from the predicted one. The problems found in the experiment can be used as important information in manufacturing equipment for forming $\Omega$-type bellows.

  • Recently, the steel parts used at the aerospace and automobile industries are required to be used light weight parts. Therefore, used material, steel have to be a high stress, which is an indispensable condition in this field. At the consideration of parts design, high hardness of the lightweight parts have an benefit of saving fuel and material. A high stress of metal has a point of difference according to the shape of design, external cyclic load and condition of vibration. A crack generates on the surface of metal or under yield stress by defect of inner metal defect or surface defect and slowly, this crack grow stable growth. Finally, rapidity failure phenomena is happen. Fatigue failure_phenomena, which happen in metal, bring on danger in human life and property therefor, anti-fatigue failure technology take an important part of current industries Currently, the shot peening is used for removing the defect from the surface of steel and improving the fatigue strength on surface. Therefore, this paper investigated the effect on frcature toughness using shot peening which is improve the resistance of crack growth and crack expansion rate by fatigue that make a compressive residual stress on surface.

Zr 합금에서 Nb과 Sn의 함량에 따른 마멸특성분석 (Analysis of wear properties in Zr alloys with variation of Nb and Sn content)

  • In order to evaluate the effect of alloying elements (Nb and Sn) on the wear resistance of advanced Zr fuel claddings, sliding wear tests have been performed in room temperature air and water and these results were compared with those of commercial alloys such as Zircaloy-4, A and B alloys. As a result, the advanced Zr fuel claddings have a similar wear resistance compared with the commercial alloys. The wear resistance of the advanced Zr fuel claddings is closely releted to the content of Nb and Sn even though the effects of transition elements are involved in deforming wear properties. In the tested specimens with similar Sn content, wear volume became down to a minimum at $0.4\;wt\;\%$ Nb, then rapidly increased at 1.0 wt Nb. This behavior results in the variation of grain size with alloying contents. But Sn did not have a significant effect on the wear volume of advanced Zr fuel claddings below $1.1\;wt\%$. The relationship between alloying elements and wear behaviour was evaluated and discussed using material compatibility factor.

무작위 격자 모델을 이용한 파이버 보강 콘크리트의 건조수축 균열 거동 해석 (Simulation of Cracking Behavior Induced by Drying Shrinkage in Fiber Reinforced Concrete Using Irregular Lattice Model)

  • 시멘트계 기질을 사용하는 복합재료는 재료 양생 과정에서 발생하는 건조수축 균열에 취약하다. 본 연구에서는 파이버 보강 콘크리트의 건조수축에 의한 파괴 거동을 시뮬레이션 하고, 파이버의 조건이 균열 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해 분석한다. 수치 해석 모델은 무작위 격자 형태의 기하학적 구조를 공유하는 관로 요소와 rigid-body-spring 요소로 구성되는데, 각 요소가 담당하는 비역학적-역학적 거동의 커플링에 의해 건조수축이 표현된다. 파이버 보강을 모델링하기 위해 rigid-bodyspring network 내부의 semi-discrete 파이버 요소를 적용하였다. KS F 2424 자유 건조수축 실험을 해석하고 시간에 따른 건조수축 변형률 변화를 비교함으로써 재료의 건조수축 관련 계수들을 산정한다. 다음으로 여러 파이버 혼입률에 대해 KS F 2595 구속 건조수축 실험을 시뮬레이션 하고 균열 발생 일자를 선행 실험 결과와 비교하여 해석 모델의 타당성을 검증한다. 또한, 파이버의 길이와 표면 형태를 변화시켜 건조수축 균열 해석을 수행하고 최대 균열 폭을 측정하여 시뮬레이션에서 나타나는 균열 제어 효과를 판단한다.

해안 환경림 조성용 식물개발을 위한 위성류의 증식과 생장특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Propagation and Growth Characteristics of Tamarix chinensis for Development of Plant Using in Coast Environmental Forests)

  • Tamarix chinenis blooms twice a you and its flowers, branches and leaves make the adjustment of tree shape. Propagation methods and growth characteristics of T. chinensis were studied in order to ascertain its potential use as one of vegetation resources for coast forestation and landscaping. The study results indicated that 1 or 2 you old hard wood cuttings showed higher rooting ratio than greenwood or semi hard wood cuttings. One to one mixture between vermiculite and pearlite appeared to be the best for bed soil, and sea sand and silt(loess) mixture was the next. Sea sand and granitic soil followed after. In terms of seasonal differences, spring cuttings showed the best rooting ratio, root number, and root length. Fall cuttings followed after spring cutting, and summer cuttings showed worst results regarding rooting ratio, root number, and root length. The best rooting promotion effects of growth regulators were observed with sea sand bed soils. There was no significant difference among growth regulators in terms of rooting and shoot growth. Low concentration below 100 ppm of growth regulators was enough for rooting promotion effect. In general, the number and mean length of roots and shoots were showed the excellent records in the sites with high rooting ratio. The study result strongly showed that T. chinensis can be considered as a suitable tree for coast forestation and landscaping because of its easy cutting propagation and rapid growth on saline lands.

  • 탄소 섬유 강화 복합재료는 오토클레이브 공정 시 발생하는 잔류응력이 발생하고, 스프링 인, 뒤틀림과 같은 열변형으로 인해 치수 결함이 발생한다. 열변형의 주요원인은 제품의 형상, 수지의 화학 수축과 열팽창, 몰드의 재질과 표면 상태에 따른 몰드 효과 등 다양한 요인에 의해 발생한다. 본 연구는 열변형을 예측하기 위해 점탄성 모델 해석 기법을 평판 모델에 적용하여 열변형의 주요 원인인 수지의 화학 수축과 열팽창의 영향을 분석했고, 몰드 유무에 따른 3-D 점탄성 모델의 해석 기법을 검증했다. 검증된 3-D 점탄성 모델의 해석 기법을 이용하여 L-형상의 몰드 효과를 분석한 결과, 동일한 재질의 몰드를 사용했더라도 표면 상태에 따라 잔류 변형이 다르게 나타났다.

  • To predict the behavior of the intravascular micro active endoscope in the real human vascular system, a human mock circulation system was developed. The intravascular micro active endoscope which consists of micro active bending catheter and micro drug infusion catheter was driven in the velocity, Re number and temperature controlled flow. The three SMA (Shape Memory Alloy) zigzag type spring in the micro active bending catheter was heated by the electric current generated by PWM controller, and the shape memory effect made the actuator bend to any direction. The micro drug infusion catheter was driven through the inner hole of the micro active bending catheter. A mock circulation system is shaped from Ascending Arota to Femoral artery according to a human data (the data contains many vascular sizes and hydrographs of many control points). We developed a vascular model with glass and silicone tubes, and set the flow system with circulation parts, flow settling parts, and lots of valves. The heater and heat-controller was added to the How system to centre! the temperature of the How at 36.5$^{\circ}C$. The result showed that the developed intravascular micro active endoscope could be induced to any point in the vascular model.
