In a rapidly changing environment, it is essential for companies to develop their capabilities for sustainable growth. To this end, informal learning at work plays an important role for small and medium-sized enterprises that are having difficulties in human resource development. If the GRIT of workers and the spiritual leadership of leaders are maintained at an appropriate level, the effect of informal learning will increase. This study derived the following results through a survey of workers participating in the Work-learning Dual System in Korea. First, experience and feedback among informal learning activities have a significant positive effect on competency development. Second, the higher the level of the GRIT of workers, the greater the magnitude of the positive effect of experience and feedback on competency development, showing a positive moderating effect. Third, in the case of workers with high GRIT, capacity development is strengthened as experience or feedback increases, and the higher the level of spiritual leadership, the greater the scope of reinforcement. On the other hand, it can be seen that in the case of workers with low GRIT, competency development weakens as experience or feedback increases, and the higher the level of spiritual leadership, the greater the extent of the weakening.
This study was designed to clarify how nurses and nursing students perceive their clients' needs for spiritual nursing care, it's practices, and problems. The purpose was to suggest directions for the development of spiritual nursing practice. The major findings are as follows : Respondents primarily perceived spiritual nursing as nursing care designd to help terminally ill patients accept death. Many of the respondents showed a high level of awareness of spiritual nursing care and its necessity. Few of them, however, bad actual experience in spiritual care. Those with experience in spiritual nursing care tend of take either a religious approach or perceived it as the therapeutic use of the self. The greatest problem related to the practice of spiritual care was found to be lack of time. Most of nurses and nursing students were found to be well aware of the needs for spiritual nursing care but were hindered from practising it because of the lack of time. To resolve the problem it was recommended that the scope of nursing practice be readjusted and that pre-and in-service programs should be developed to further heighten nursing students' interest in spiritual nursing care.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to provide the basic data for development of nursing intervention to decrease the uncertainty in cancer patients having chemotherapy through promoting their spiritual health and identifying the relationship between spiritual health and uncertainty. Method: 174 cancer patients who were admitted for chemotherapy at hospital were recruited from the 7th March to the 10th April, 2006. Two instruments have been used for this study. One was Highfield's Spiritual Health Inventory and the other was Mishel's MUIS(Mishel Uncertainty in Illness Scale). The collected data was analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean value, average mean, standard deviation, t-test, Scheffe's test, ANOVA and Pearson Correlation Coefficients with the SPSS PC 12.0 program. Results: The average mean value of the spiritual health $3.50{\pm}\;.48$ and the uncertainty was $1.91{\pm}\;.46$. It meant that the relationships between spiritual health and uncertainty were shown to have a moderately negative correlation(r=-.489, p= .000). This means that the greater is the spiritual health, the less is the patient's uncertainty. Conclusions: It was identified that cancer patients having chemotherapy had moderate spiritual health and uncertainty, and negative correlation between spiritual health and uncertainty. Therefore, it will be necessary for the development of spiritual nursing intervention strategies to relieve the uncertainty among cancer patients having chemotherapy.

Spiritual distress assessment tools were identified through systematic review. Ten studies about spiritual distress assessment tools were identified. From the migrant care-workers arriving in Japan from the Philippines and Indonesia to support the depleted social support system for the large population of the elderly (Ogawa 2012) to the increasing number of retiring Japanese embarking on long-stay tourism in Malaysia (Ono 2015), the Japanese image of Southeast Asia as an exotic destination offering cheap labor in return for official development assistance seems to be fading away. Yet these changes are not necessarily reflected in the way contemporary Japanese, especially those who belong to the global, "spiritual-but not-religious" (Fuller 2001) population, think of and "consume" Southeast Asia in their daily lives. Using three case-studies, spiritual tours, Thai massage, and an NGO founded by a Japanese spiritual therapist, this paper argues that in Japan's large spiritual market, which targets people seeking alternative ways to express their religiosity, the old-fashioned colonial exoticism of Southeast Asian narratives were integrated in a totalizing discourse, in which Japan remains the exceptional outlier (Tanaka 1993), a country still claimed to be "advanced" both spiritually and economically.
