Understanding germinal center reactions is crucial not only for the design of effective vaccines against infectious agents and malignant cells but also for the development of therapeutic intervention for the treatment of antibody-mediated immune disorders. Recent advances in this field have revealed specialized subsets of T cells necessary for the control of B cell responses in the follicle. These cells include follicular regulatory T cells and Qa-1-restricted cluster of differentiation $(CD)8^+$ regulatory T cells. In this review, we discuss the current knowledge related to the role of regulatory T cells in the B cell follicle.

The purpose of this study was to review the knowledge related to historic background, causes, symptoms, etiology and rehabilitation methods related to this disease and suggest some ways to reduce complications from it. The importance of underwater pressure disease was not emphasized, therefore, there is a need for continuous research on treatment methods and prevention for it. As one goes into the deeper water, they will be affected by the hydraulic pressure rather then the atmospheric pressure, and it will be increased 1mmHg by 10meters. Underwater pressure disease can be occurred when one comes out of deeper water too quicked. This results the imbalance of the composition rate of nitrogen in blood. However, there is not enough facilities to treat this disease and these facilities are located in limited areas. Therefore, there is an urgent need to set up a medial center that is specialized in prevention and treatment of underwater pressure disease.

Neuromuscular Disorders Affecting the Larynx are steadily important topics at laryngology. Physiology of larynx is controlled by the frame structure and neuromuscular dynamics to acting on the specialized soft tissue, Therefore, for a proper understanding of the larynx, it is needed the voice and swallowing, a series of prayers on the regulation of neurologic function and the correlation between systemic neuromuscular disease and laryngeal symptoms and clinical knowledge, We described that clinical findings and treatments of the 3 neurological diseases causing dysphonia well (Parkinson's disease, laryngeal tremor, spasmodic dysphonia) and vocal impairments for stoke patients.

Design of civil infrastructures is generally based on 2-D drawings and analyses. Design provisions also specify the limit states using member based equations. Most construction projects are done through collaboration of engineers who have different specialized knowledge. Information technologies can dramatically enhance the performance of the collaboration. For the information transfer, we need a mediator between engineers. Object based 3-D models are useful for the communication and for the owners who have to maintain whole the information of infrastructures. In this paper, basic guidelines for the 3-D design according to design phases. Adequate interoperability of 3-D objects from any CAD system is essential for the collaboration. Owners, contractors and design consultants were considered as users of 3-D objects. Cost and performance of each design phases was investigated through the existing data.

Mathematics develops the ability to solve a problem and the spirit of inquiry by logical thinking, and statistics develops the ability to making a decision scientifically or rationally by various data processing techniques. Even though mathematics is a compulsory subject in most of IT-related departments, the reality of Korean education is serious. This research studies on the necessity of mathematics/statistics education for a person studying IT and analyzes the contents of mathematics/statistics among IT-related subjects. And the research makes a plan for specializing IT-related departments by use of specialized education programs using mathematics/statistics and examines a development plan in the short or long term period for connectivity with mathematics/statistics fields. This connectivity between IT-related departments and mathematics/statistics in the 21st century would certainly contribute to creating more practical or technical knowledge.

Thousands of literatures have described the diverse role of ginseng in physiological processes such as cancer, neurodegenera tive disorders, insulin resistance, and hypertension. In particular, ginseng has been extensively reported to maintain homeostasis of the immune system and to enhance resistance to illness or microbial attacks through the regulation of immune system. Immune system comprises of different types of cells fulfilling their own specialized functions, and each type of the immune cells is differentially influenced and may be simultaneously controlled by ginseng treatment. This review summarizes the current knowledge on the effects of ginseng on immune system. We discuss how ginseng regulates each type of immune cells including macrophages, natural killer cells, dendritic cells, T cells, and B cells. We also describe how ginseng exhibits beneficial effects on controlling inflammatory diseases and microbial infections.

This paper describes TVML (TV program Making Language) for automatically generating television programs from text-based script. This language describes the contents of a television program using expression with a high level of abstraction like“title #1”and“zoom-in”. The software used to read a script written in TVML and to automatically generate the program video and audio is called the TVML Player. The paper begins by describing TVML language specifications and the TVML Player. It then describes the“external control mode”of the TVML Player that can be used for applying TVML to interactive applications. Finally, it describes the TVML Editor, a user interface that we developed which enables users having no specialized knowledge of computer languages to make TVML scripts. In addition to its role as a television-program production tool. TVML is expected to have a wide range of applications in the network and multimedia fields.

This paper develops and builds an Integrated Assessment System for National Competency Standard Professional Basic. The integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in the National Competency Standards is developed to conduct examination by means of computers, smartphones and tablet PCs. The system can be used for the basic job competency test, examination for online cyber universities, job competency examination for enterprises, and the listening, reading, and speaking test in the foreign language proficiency examination and is even better in terms of facility investment and saved operating costs as well as efficient use of spaces in comparison with conventional evaluation schemes. Even greater synergy effects can be achieved by providing support for the integrated evaluation system for basic job competency in connection with the NCS qualification system. The evaluation system has been tested and practiced at a specialized high school and can be applied to the NCS education evaluation of the college and four-year college and to the selection examination of new employees of the company.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors affecting the utilization of emergency medical services and characteristics of emergency medical services according to age group among elderly individuals. Methods: This study conducted t-test and linear regression analysis on data of 1,960,575 participants to achieve the objective. Results: Analysis of the factors affecting the use of emergency medical services showed statistically significant correlation in all age groups. As the age of elderly people increased, the use of emergency medical service increased. Conclusions: Emergency medical policies are needed, such as coordinators with expert knowledge of medical and health administration and specialist emergency room operations that can provide specialized medical service for older patients.

Objectives : This paper analyzes the newly discovered manuscripts of the HyangchonGyeongHeomdanbang(鄕村經驗單方). The HyangchonGyeongHeomdanbang is a collection of prescriptions written by Lee, Gyeongbu, a native of Gongju, Chungcheong Province, who served as a central official in the mid-19th century. Methods : First, background of the author was investigated through official sources. Next, bibliographical information along with the contents of the book were examined. Results : 1. Based on the findings of category classification, it can be concluded that the author put the most importance on tumefaction. 2. The author's main philosophy was cultivation based on Confucian ideas. 3. The book was intended for those without specialized medical knowledge. Conclusions : The HyangchonGyeongHeomdanbang(鄕村經驗單方) is an example of maximized convenience and accessibility in the accumulative process of clinical medicine during 19^th century Joseon.
