디지털 자원의 네트워크 이용이 증가하는 정보사회에서 전문도서관 및 정보센터는 연구정보의 전문유통채널로서 새로운 기능과 역할로 확장되고 있다. 본고는 우리나라 전문도서관 및 정보센터의 발전 및 협력현황을 살펴보고, 개념, 범주, 법규, 도서관정책 등의 문제를 검토하였다. 이어 전문도서관 및 정보센터 활동에서 개선되어야 할 점을, 첫째, 전문도서관 및 정보센터 개념의 재정의, 둘째, 범국가적 지식정보 조정기구 설치, 셋째, 민간부문 전문도서관 및 정보센터 활동지원의 제도화, 넷째, 연구정보의 효율적 유통을 위한 선결과제 등으로 정리하였다.

In the age of multi-core and specialized accelerators in high performance computing (HPC) systems, it is critical to understand application characteristics and apply suitable optimizations in order to fully utilize advanced computing system. Often time, the process involves multiple stages of application performance diagnosis and a trial-and-error type of approach for optimization. In this study, a general guideline of performance optimization has been demonstrated with two class-representing applications. The main focuses are on node-level optimization and inter-node scalability improvement. While the number of optimization case studies is somewhat limited in this paper, the result provides insights into the systematic approach in HPC applications performance engineering.

The EST Knowledge Integrated System, EKIS (http://ekis.kribb.re.kr), was established as a part of Korea's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology initiative for genome sequencing and application research of the biological model organisms (GEAR) project. The goals of the EKIS are to collect EST information from GEAR projects and make an integrated database to provide transcriptomic and metabolomic information for biological scientists. The EKIS constitutes five independent categories and several retrieval systems in each category for incorporating massive EST data from high-throughput sequencing of 65 different species. Through the EKIS database, scientists can freely access information including BLAST functional annotation as well as Genechip and pathway information for KEGG. By integrating complex data into a framework of existing EST knowledge information, the EKIS provides new insights into specialized metabolic pathway information for an applied industrial material.

현 시대는 고령화 사회, 삶의 질에 대한 국민의 관심증대, 의료비 감소를 위한 국가의 관심 증대 등으로 건강정보에 대한 관심이 전반적으로 증가된 상황이다. 이에 문헌정보학계의 연구노력, 도서관계의 건강특화서비스 제공 노력, 그리고 국가차원에서의 노력이 이루어져 왔으나, 도서관계에서의 통합적 및 체계적으로 건강관련 정보를 제공하기 위한 정책이나 전략은 명확히 제시되지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기 수행된 선행연구 및 정책연구, 그리고 사례조사를 통해서 도서관에서 건강정보를 통합적으로 제공할 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 그 결과, 건강정보제공통합시스템 구축, 건강관련정보의 총체적 DB 구축, 건강특화 도서관 프로그램 개발 및 운영, 건강정보서비스 총괄지원센터 운영, 건강정보서비스관련 부처 및 기관 간 협력네트워크 구축을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안하는 구체적인 내용은 이후 도서관이 우리나라 국민의 건강증진을 위해 서비스 개발에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

본 연구에서는 한국과학기술정보연구원(KISTI)에서 지정하여 지원하고 있는 우리나라 과학기술분야 전문정보센터를 대상으로 정보서비스 체계 전반에 대한 현황 및 문제점을 분석${\cdot}$파악하고 이를 토대로 최신의 정보기술을 반영${\cdot}$적용한 우리나라 과학기술분야 전문정보센터의 효율적인 정보서비스 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 선행연구 분석, 설문조사, 해당기관 직접방문을 통한 관련자 면담, 해당기관 홈페이지의 관련 사이트 분석, 그리고 관련 전문가로 구성된 상시협의체의 회의를 통한 Brainstorming 방법 등을 병행하여 실시하였다.

Sunchon National University Farming Promotion Center is a unique social education institution for the farmers. This study intends to analyze the educational and training programs for future farmer candidates with a expert technology, successors to the rural leaders of Saemaul Movements, expert farmers, the students of farming practice courses in the Department of Agricultural Education, and the citizens participating in the social education courses. It is an urgent problem to recruit the experts in social education, and in specialized and advanced farm management technology. A committee for the betterment of the social education program should be consisted of the social education experts, and alumni of the Farming Promotion Center to share their farming information with one another. In order to achieve the successful goal in the education program of the Farming Promotion Center, the well planned field trips and the supervised farming practices should be secured, and the follow-up management system for the people finishing the courses of the educational programs should be formulated.

본 연구는 안양시 지역 주민과 안양시 지역 전문가들을 대상으로 설문조사 및 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시함으로써, 안양시 도서관 중장기 발전 방향 수립을 위한 기초자료로 활용하고자 하는 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구에서 수행한 설문조사 및 FGI 분석 결과를 바탕으로 향후 안양시 중장기 발전계획 수립을 위한 주요 시사점과 논의사항들을 정리해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 도서관 이용률에 비해 이용자들이 이용하는 서비스가 극히 제한적이며, 도서관 프로그램 이용률이 낮아 도서관에서 운영하는 다양한 서비스들에 대한 적극적인 홍보와 정보 제공, 서비스 이용 절차 간소화 등에 대한 현장의 개선 노력이 필요하다. 둘째, 도서관 만족도는 비교적 높았으나 일부 불만족 의견의 이유를 분석한 결과, 도서관의 접근성을 높일 수 있는 방안에 대한 고민과 함께 신간 자료 구입에 대한 적극적인 예산 투자가 필요한 것으로 파악되었다. 셋째, 특화도서관 운영에 대한 인지도가 낮아 타 지역 우수사례 벤치마킹을 통해 안양시 공공도서관만의 특화도서관 서비스 개발이 필요하다. 넷째, 향후 안양시 공공도서관은 지식정보센터, 평생교육센터, 생활편의센터로서의 기능과 함께 복합 문화센터로서의 기능을 강화해야 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로, 안양시 도서관 운영 조직체계 개편을 통해 장기적으로 도서관 운영을 체계적으로 이끌어 갈 수 있는 컨트롤타워 구성이 요구된다.

There are numerous plant and animal species which are adapted to the conditioins of the urban environment. The objectie of landscape and nature conservation in cities can be considered as the perservation of these organisms as the basis for a direct contact between urban dwellers and the landscape elements. However, after 1980 in Korea, green and biotope oases started to develop in the center of the urban area, from which the surrounding population benefited, at least indirectly. Thus urban biotope mapping and biotope informatioin system as a specialized tool of urban ecological landscape planning will make clear the orientation for the preservation of species and renaturalizing measures. The results are as follows : 1) Biotope types in the study area were separated to 21 biotope. 2) The written description of the biotopes took place on the computerized forms. The basis for the uniform inclusion and description of all biotopes surveyed was a codeplan. Additional details were included on the urban biotope mapping. 3) The evaluation of the mapped biotopes was completed to the following aspect, namely " species diversity and biotope conservation value" and "nature experience value". 4) UBM and BIS represent an important basis for decision aid for the city administration within the context of the ecological urban and landscape planning process. 5) The methodology of UBM and BIS in this study area could be extended to whole urban area.to whole urban area.

교육기관에서 개인정보의 보호가 중요한 이슈로 부각됨에 따라, 교육과학기술부(현재의 교육부)는 2012년 9월 교육기관 종사자를 대상으로 정보보호교육을 실시하는 교육센터를 4개(사이버센터 1개 포함) 개소하였다. 정보보호교육센터의 취지를 잘 살리기 위해서는 교육수요자의 수요를 반영한 교육과정을 개발하고 장기적인 교육이수경로를 제공할 수 있어야 하며, 정보보호교육의 전문성을 확보할 수 있도록 전문적인 기술교육과정을 편성함은 물론 자질있는 강의인력을 확보하여야 한다. 본 논문은 정보보호교육센터의 개소가 국내 교육기관 및 교육종사자들의 정보보호 수준향상의 직접적인 계기가 될 수 있도록 '교육기관의 운영 효율성' 평가 관점에서 교육내용 및 교육운영을 중심으로 교육기관 평가지표를 개발하고 평가지표의 가중치를 산정하여 제시하였다.

A hot-issued research topic in the workflow intelligence arena is the emerging topic of "workflow-supported organizational social networks." These specialized social networks have been proposed to primarily represent the process-driven work-sharing and work-collaborating relationships among the workflow-performers fulfilling a series of workflow-related operations in a workflow-supported organization. We can discover those organizational social networks, and visualize its analysis results as organizational knowledge. In this paper, we are particularly interested in how to visualize the degrees of closeness centralities among workflow-performers by proposing a graphical representation schema based on the Graph Markup Language, which is named to ccWSSN-GraphML. Additionally, we expatiate on the functional expansion of the closeness centralization formulas so as for the visualization framework to handle a group of workflow procedures (or a workflow package) with organizational workflow-performers.
