  • The differentiation of this study is largely based on the above discussion. First, I would like to examine the main factors that affect the image of the local government's special transport agencies in terms of users and suggest strategic options for promoting the local government's special traffic. Second, a public service approach is very necessary considering the concept of new public transport such as local government special transport, individual use experience and social impact. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the characteristics of local government special traffic through the five important factors of the service quality which are not capable of objectively measuring the characteristics of the service.

  • In the national economy, rate of service industry is going up to compare with manufacture industry. In spite of getting lots of results to be introduced 6 sigma methodology in Korea, many service companies is suffering with trial and errors. Also 6 sigma isn't settled perfect yet. The reason for that, 6 sigma have been applied to various service without considering. Therefore, this research shows to you right practice plans for service industrial classification to check structural features and difference. So this research seeks methods for revitalization of 6 sigma methodology in service industry after checking existed research, case study for companies to be applied by 6 sigma. As the result, service industry is forecasted to contribute greatly in economic growth and employment enlargement through enlargement of service role in manufacturing industry production as well as by itself.

특수경비업무 발전방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on development of special security service)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 업무현장에서 다양한 경험을 하고 있는 특수경비원들이 현재 인지하고 있는 문제점들을 바탕으로 특수경비업무의 발전방안을 모색하는데 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 특수경비업무에 10년 이상 종사하고 있는 현장전문가 7명에게 면담조사를 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 특수경비업무를 몸소 수행하고 있는 특수경비원들은 특수경비업무의 발전방안을 다음과 같이 제시하였다. 첫째, 현재의 특수경비원 신임교육 제도는 특수경비업무 실무와 관련된 교과목으로 재편성하여 60시간 정도의 교육프로그램으로 개선이 요구된다. 둘째, 특수경비원 직무교육도 국가에서 관할하는 교육기관을 통하여 3개월에 9시간의 교육프로그램으로 전환하여 시행하되 교육이수여부관리에 중점을 두는 것이 적합하다. 셋째, 특수경비원들에게는 실무에서 필요로 하는 교육프로그램과 능력 있고 전문적인 강사진을 통한 분야별 양질의 교육이 진행되어져야 한다. 넷째, 경비업법에 규정되어 있는 특수경비원의 정년은 사회적 환경을 고려하여 상향조정되어져야 할 것이다. 다섯째, 특수경비업체와 경찰 서로간의 인식전환이 필요하다. 여섯째, 특수경비업무와 관련한 발전방안과 특수경비원들의 권익보호를 할 수 있는 특수경비협회의 창설이 요구되어진다.

COVID-19와 IT 서비스: 변화와 대응 (COVID-19 and IT Service: Challenges and Responses)

  • Since the first confirmed case in January 2020, Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) has brought many changes to our society, and Korea is no exception. Some changes are direct and immediate such as restrictions on overseas travel and social distancing, but the others are indirect and slowly adapted such as lifestyle changes impacting industries and businesses. IT service sector is tremendously influenced by COVID-19. IT service is used extensively in response to COVID-19 taking advantage of its non-face-to-face characteristics. In that sense, the industry is positively affected and in some sense invigorated, giving birth to new kind of services. This special issue focuses on introducing how the IT services are affected, what kind of transformations are undergoing, and how these are expedited after COVID-19. This special issue expands and extends the case research section by collecting new IT service case studies concerning these topics. After competitive review process, 11 studies are selected for this special issue which deals with four different but closely related aspects: (1) evolutions of private IT services, (2) transformations in public IT services, (3) impacts in the hospitality and tourism industry, and (4) changes of people's behavior along with COVID-19. The first set reports on the evolution of private IT services that have created terms such as foodtech and edutech as we enter a rapid non-face-to-face situation. The second set consists of studies dealing with the evolution of public IT services. Evolution and rapid response to non-face-to-face appear to be no exception in the public sector. The third includes studies of hospitality and tourism which is most strongly affected by COVID-19. The last set deals with the behavioral changes of users such as technostress in telecommuting. Lessons learned through best practices and key problems identified in these studies may help us to actively respond to the coming waves of changes incurred by COVID-19 in our society as well as in the IT service industry.

차량 인터넷 기술을 위한 시맨틱 차량-사물 연결 서비스 구현 (A Development of Semantic Connected Service between Vehicles and Things for IoV)

  • The recent efforts in academia and industry represent a paradigm shift that will extend the IoT from the home environment so that it is interoperable with the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). IoV is a special kind of IoT. It allows to connect between vehicle and things located in infrastructure. Furthermore, IoV enable to create new intelligent services through collaboration with existing various services such as smart city and connected home. In this paper, we develop a service in order to realize IoV. To this end, we design a novel vehicle service platform which could automatical controlling the IoT device according to drivers' voice. To show practical usability of our proposed platform, we develop a prototype service could be call car-to-thing (C2T). We expect that our proposed platform could eventually contribute to realizing IoV.

메뉴 엔지니어링, CMA분석방법에 의한 일식 메뉴 비교분석 - 특 1급 A호텔 레스토랑 사례 - (Analysis of the Menu from a Japanese Restaurant Using Menu Engineering and Cost/Margin Analysis - A Case of a Restaurant at a First Class (A) Hotel -)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the menu of a Japanese restaurant in a first class tourism hotel. The calculations used for the menu analysis were conducted using MS Excel 2003. Several previous studies have been conducted to analyze menus. For example, Pavesic used of the weighted contribution margins (WCM) and potential food cost (PFC%) to evaluate menus, while Kasavana & Smith used the mix margin (MM%) and unit contribution margin (CM) to evaluate menus. The menu engineering method focused on the customer's viewpoints, while the Cost/Margin analysis method considered the manager's viewpoints. The menus that need continuous keeping Kasavana & Smith (Star) and Pavesic (Standard) included 'Assorted sashimi with side dishes (big), 'Lunch box special', 'Tempura course', 'Broiled Spanish mackerel and side dishes', 'Shrimp tempura', 'Special sushi', 'Seafood Udong', 'Buckwheat noodles'. The results of this study should increase customer satisfaction and profits at the Japanese Restaurant.

지식서비스산업의 구조변화 분석 (An Analysis on The Structural Change of The Knowledge Service Industry)

  • 최근 들어 우리나라는 제조업 부문의 투자와 고용이 부진하여 잠재성장률이 둔화되는 가운데 신성장동력 및 일자리 창출부문으로서 지식서비스의 역할에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 산출 및 고용측면에서 1995년에서 2010년까지의 기간 동안 우리나라의 지식서비스산업의 구조변화 양상을 분석함으로써 지식서비스산업이 경제성장 및 고용창출에 어느 정도의 기여를 하고 있는지를 살펴보고 지식서비스산업 육성을 위한 정책방향을 제시하였다. 지식서비스산업은 여타 산업에 비하여 총산출과 고용의 규모면에 있어서 국가전체에서 차지하는 비중은 그다지 크지 않지만, 타 산업에 비하여 가장 빠른 성장 속도를 보이고 있어서 우리나라의 총산출 증가와 고용 창출에 큰 기여를 한 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 산출증가율과 성장기여도는 점차 하락하고 있어서 지식서비스가 앞으로도 지속적으로 성장동력 및 고용창출에 기여하기 위해서는 생산성 증대를 위한 특별 대책이 요구된다.

현행 「경비업법」상 경비개념과 경비업무 해석의 한계 및 민간보안산업 관련 입법의 제·개정 방향 (Limit of interpreting 'security service' in current 「Security Services Industry Act」 and direction of legislating and revising private security industry)

  • 경비업법은 1976년 "용역경비업법"으로 제정된 이래 수많은 일부개정작업이 이루어져 왔다. 이러한 개정작업의 주된 내용은 기존의 용역경비업의 경비업무를 기초로 신변보호 업무나 특수경비와 같은 경비업무의 추가, 경비업자 또는 경비원의 책임 강화 및 경비업의 체계적 관리를 다루는 규정이 그 대부분을 이루고 있다. 그러나 이와 같은 법률개정의 흐름에는 '경비' 개념에 대한 본질적 문제가 양날의 칼처럼 직결되어 있음을 직시할 필요가 있다. 왜냐하면 일면, 현행 "경비업법"은 기존의 시설 인력경비 즉, Guard duty 중심의 경비서비스로 제2조의 경비업무를 근간으로 하여 경비업의 허가와 그 체계적 관리를 대상으로 하는 형식적 경비업을 규정하고 있음에 비해, 또 다른 관점에서 경비업은 보안(security)산업의 일종으로 현대의 위험사회에서 다원화된 보안욕구를 실현하고, 실질적 경비업의 기능을 육성과 발전의 대상으로 하는 적극적 경영 개념에 기초하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 민간보안서비스 제공의 관점에서 "경비업법"상의 경비 및 경비업무의 해석에 대한 한계를 지적하고, "민간보안산업법"으로서 "경비업법"의 일반 법규성과 특별법으로서 민간보안서비스 관련 법률의 제 개정 작업을 재조명하였다. 또한 바람직한 입법의 제 개정방향을 제시함으로써 '국민보안'의 시대에 걸맞는 입법과 노력이 필요하다는 결론을 도출하였다.

헤어샵 종사자의 유니폼 착용실태 및 선호도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Real Wearing Condition and Preference of Hair Shop Uniform)

  • There is an increased interest in having beauty regardless of ages and sex with improvement of the national income level and increase in social activities. Competition within the beauty service industry is increasing rapidly because of global impact within Korea wave. Thus, active public relations and offering distinguished service in the beauty service industry are important. Also, uniforms play an important role in providing an image differentiated from other brands and presents professionalism to the customer. Therefore, we determined function and design of uniforms required in beauty service industry by researching wearing realities, satisfaction, preferred designs and functions of uniforms from hair shop staff. Functional and aesthetic uniforms play an important role to enhance the staffs' sense of belonging. In addition, it is good for the image of hair shop. Special design mirroring job characteristics with expression of differentiated personalities is needed. However, the research was conducted only in the hair shop in Seoul, Daejeon, and Gyeonggi-do. Further studies on much wider areas will be needed.

  • 6 Sigma movement is the quality innovation activity which Motorola, a nineteen eighties' top-ranking American company of electronics and communication, has started to survive the Japanese companies' frightening gami-gaze. In early days, it's just applicated for reducing customers' complain by eliminations inferior goods centering round producing activity and filling up the competitive market's demand for price and delivery deadline. Nowaday, 6 Sigma application has created a boom extending to a company's most activity fields without any exact scrutiny of 6 Sigma. Although 6 Sigma movement starts from the question of what customers want not by cutting off the inferiority rate but by cutting out causes of producing inferior goods, the service industry has a special character that makes it difficult to compute the level of Sigma. Thus this research examines suitability for introduction of 6 Sigma to the Service Industry.
