Existing change detection researches have been focused on changes of land use and land cover (LULC), damaged areas, or large vegetated and water regions. On the other hands, increased temporal and spatial resolution of satellite images are strongly suggesting the feasibility of change detection of small objects such as vehicles and ships. In order to check the feasibility, this paper analyzes the performance of existing pixel-based change detection methods over small objects. We applied pixel differencing, PCA (principal component analysis) analysis, MAD (Multivariate Alteration Detection), and IR-MAD (Iteratively Reweighted-MAD) to Kompsat-3A and Google Map images taken within 10 days. We extracted ground references for changed and non-changed small objects from the images and used them for performance analysis of change detection results. Our analysis showed that MAD and IR-MAD, that are known to perform best over LULC and large areal changes, offered best performance over small object changes among the methods tested. It also showed that the spectral band with high reflectivity of the object of interest needs to be included for change analysis.
Photovoltaic panels are hazardous electronic waste that has heavy metal as one of the hazardous components. Each year, hazardous electronic waste is increasing worldwide and every heavy rainfall exposes the photovoltaic panel to become the source of heavy metal soil contamination. the development needs a monitoring technology for this hazardous exposure. this research use relationships between SAR temporal baseline and coherence of Sentinel-1 satellite to detected photovoltaic panel. Also, the photovoltaic plant detection tested using the difference between that photovoltaic panel and the other difference surface of coherence. The author tested the photovoltaic panel and its environment to calculate differences in coherence relationships. As a result of the experiment, the coherence of the photovoltaic panel, which is assumed to be a permanent scatterer, shows a bias that is biased toward a median value of 0.53 with a distribution of 0.50 to 0.65. Therefore, further research is needed to improve errors that may occur during processing. Additionally, the author found that the change detection using a temporal baseline is possible as the rate of reduction of coherence of photovoltaic panels differs from those of artificial objects such as buildings. This result could be an efficient way to continuously monitor regardless of weather conditions, which was a limitation of the existing optical satellite image-based photovoltaic panel detection research and to understand the spatial distribution in situations such as photovoltaic panel loss.
Today the market of EDMS is esteemed more than 100 billions won. It signifies a comming of age of electronic records. The traditional archival theories which are based on the paper records are confronted with a new challenge. In some leading countries of archival studies reorientation of archives management has been tried by a number of distinguished specialists such as Bearman and Hedstrom since 10 years. As a consequence new paradigm of archival theories has been developed. Also in Korea this new paradigm has been introduced by some expert such as Lee, Sang-Min, Sul, Moon-won, Lee, Seung-Eok. However their arguments are too general to offer a concrete clue for new paradigm. Faced by new age of electronic records, it's important to start a discussion for the reasonable methods of electronic records management at once. The most drastically changed part of record management by the electronic technique is the life-cycle of records. The commonly practiced three-stage life-cycle is to be reduced to the two-stage life-cycle, and the concept of the spatial movement of records is to be changed. It can be also pointed that the public emerges as user from the early creating stage of records beyond time and space. Thus is can be said that the method of the management features dynamic and cohesive. The method of appraisal must be also changed and reproduced, so that it can reflect the various levels considering dynamics of the electronic records. Supposedly it will be a core factor that causes the change of methodology in records management with the change of life-cycle theory. It must be noted that various subjects would be involved in the work of classification and description over time and space and that feedback between them is of important. Description also tends to be made at the crating stage of records and structured dynamically. It results from the change of life-cycle and the introduction of the concept of continuum. Such trend allows us to start discussions on the assumption that description of both creator and archival professionals act together an important role. Of course, it is linked with the methodology in which most descriptions are made automatically at the early drafting stage of the structure. The meat date is formed on the assumption that there should be feedback between areas of automatic description, description of creators and archival professionals. The most important thing in description is to develop a suitable way how it is structured. An alternative must be offered for managing data set. As iweb that is being operated by Myongji university shows, records created in daily business are managed not as electronic records but as date base. This is because they exist outside the repository in the EDMS system. Since data set often has various sources, an alternative for classification needs to be developed. It is now likely that database is filed according to the created year to be transferred automatically to the repository. Over a long-term the total management of database, electronic records and electronic information will be a topic. A right direction of new paradigm will be found for both iweb and E-government, when practice and studies of theories are combined and interacted.
Purpose and Method: In this study, a questionnaire interview survey was conducted for the victims living in the temporary house by the Pohang earthquake, and improvements were derived. Results: As a result, major improvements in terms of facilities are as follows. First, in order to expand the toilet and cooking space, the existing inner gate and the wall are removed and the width of the toilet is expanded. Minimize the inconvenience by adding a cooking table as wide as the extended toilet. Second, a separate sleep compartment is set up to secure storage space in a limited area. And the storage closet is installed below and used as a storage space. At this time, the size of the sleeping space is set to double bed size. Third, curtains and blinds are installed on both windows to secure privacy, thereby protecting privacy and psychological stability. Conclusion: If the remodeling of the temporary house proposed in this study is utilized and applied, it is possible to provide a better living environment. In addition, it is expected that it will be possible to improve the efficiency of space and overcome existing spatial limitations by minimizing inconveniences reflecting the needs of the victims.
Due to changes in the distribution industry, inner harbors have been on a sharp decline in the recent past. However, through the application of the right development plans, such harbors can be revitalized into vibrant urban areas again. The importance of inner harbors has been recognized by the relevant authorities in Korea which are now pushing forward with redevelopment plans for its inner harbors. This study proposes a new approach to redevelopment plans based on the recognition that inner harbors have unique characteristics involving both inland areas and the ocean. In the study, representative inner harbors were selected and analyzed comparatively according to two distinct concepts of location: the Gateway Concept and the Central Place Concept. Based on these concepts, the conditions of the inner harbors were examined. Their location can be typed, and development directions were proposed according to their types and conditions. However, difficult points such as isolation and separation between an urban district and the harbor area, can be obstructions to their potential revival. An inner harbor needs to be considered as an intermediary, connecting place between the ocean and the city, not as another ordinary development area. In addition, a redevelopment plan should be accompanied by a strategic viewpoint to make the most of this feature.
In the immersive virtual reality environment, we can select and manipulate various virtual objects. in order to select a virtual object, we generally use Ray-casting method that fires a virtual line in user's view and selects an object when the line and the object match, or Cone-casting method that is widely used to select multiple objects at the same time. However, since the virtual objects used in CAD are composed of small and complex objects in detail, when selecting an object in the user's view by existing methods, there occurs a ambiguity problem that needs additional realignment operation even though an object is selected as a group. in this paper, even if a virtual object is composed of several small virtual objects, it calculates the spatial and logical relationship among objects and expands or shrinks desired objects, so that the user can quickly and accurately select a desired object. in order to evaluate the proposed method, performance comparison were performed using Our and Ray-Casting and Cone-Casting methods. Experimental results show that the proposed method has the fastest speed and the highest accuracy when selecting the desired objects.

This study derives the characteristics of the private external space planning in multi-family housing through the analysis of the good case built after 2000 in Europe. First, the cases were categorized into block or block perimeter, linear and point type to examine the relationship between the type of building in urban context and the location of private external space. By block or block perimeter and linear type, private external spaces are planned in the inner courtyards or open space between buildings used as common space for residents, inducing communications between neighbors. And the direction of private external space depends on the arrangement of the building mass in urban context. In the classification as point type, there are many cases, where private external spaces are arranged in all directions, connected almost all interior spaces. Second, based on the above results, the planned characteristics of the private external space are derived by dividing it into three categories: intermediated space between inside and outside, intermediate space between private and public /individual and collective space and the identity of the intermediate space. (1) In most cases, direction, size of enclosed area and location of private extern space is designed to fit the surrounding context, so residents can perceive as much of the assets of the surrounding environment as possible, and it can be used as an extended area of living space. In another cases, it is divided into various sub-areas to experience the spatial transition from inside to outside or vice versa. 2) The private external space, which is placed in a courtyard or in a collective open space, is partially enclosed and blocked, allowing interaction with the neighbors without pressure. Along the street, they are designed to allow residents to experience the vitality of the city and to be formative element of the facade, which could confidently reveal the lifestyle and taste of residents. 3) By some of point types, which facade is three-demensional layer as a habitable external space, the private external space is very flexible for use. This intermediate space is composed of diverse spaces for various needs, or it has generous size with positional conditions connected with all interior spaces to be used multi-functional.

The geospatial schemes based on topo-climatology have been developed to produce digital climate maps at a site-specific scale. Their development processes are reviewed here to derive the needs for new schemes in the future. Agricultural and forestry villages in Korea are characterized by complexity and diversity in topography, which results in considerably large spatial variations in weather and climate over a small area. Hence, the data collected at a mesoscale through the Automated Synoptic Observing System (ASOS) operated by the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) are of limited use. The geospatial schemes have been developed to estimate climate conditions at a local scale, e.g., 30 m, lowering the barriers to deal with the processes associated with production in agricultural and forestry industries. Rapid enhancement of computing technologies allows for near real-time production of climate information at a high-resolution even in small catchment areas and the application to future climate change scenarios. Recent establishment of the early warning service for agricultural weather disasters can provide growth progress and disaster forecasts for cultivated crops on a farm basis. The early warning system is being expanded worldwide, requiring further advancement in geospatial schemes and digital climate mapping.
The purpose of this study is to diagnose problems in the regulation and management of Restricted Development Zone and to prepare a construction plan to convert it to a data-based monitoring system. Unlike other land-use zones, the Restricted Development Zone is a exceptional zone that prohibits all development activities other than the minimum maintenance and must be strictly controlled and managed by the local government. However, the current Restricted Development Zone management is distributed according to the conditions of each local government, and it is not possible to monitor changes in the entire Restricted Development Zone as shown in the survey results. In particular, in this study, by introducing an AI-based monitoring system, MOLIT sends the results of detecting changes across the country at regular time points(monthly and quarterly) to the local governments based on the same regulation standards, and the local governments can be trusted while inputting the regulation results into the system. To propose this methodology, first, a survey and interview were conducted with local government officials and experts. Second, we analyzed cases in which AI analysis was applied to local governments and proposed a plan to improve the efficiency of regulation work according to the introduction of the monitoring system. Third, a plan was prepared to establish a monitoring system based on the advancement of the management information system. This monitoring system can be expanded and applied to land that needs periodic regulation and management in the future, and this study tried to propose a methodology and policy for this.

The purpose of this study is to derive a curriculum environment for operating various student-centered teaching and learning methods, and the following results were derived: First, most of the lectures, discussions and consultations, data search, report preparation, presentation, work exhibition, and others were commonly derived, regardless of the types of long-term and short-term project classes for each subject. In particular, the necessity of operating various classes at the same time was suggested, indicating the need for an integrated teaching and learning operation environment in the unit subject class. Second, considering that practical classes are linked concurrently to lectures and discussion classes to conduct one subject class, it is necessary to switch to a specialized curriculum system that allows various classes such as lectures to be carried out at the same time. Third, as a result of grasping the appropriateness of the space size of the subject class for realizing different class types in the future, it can be seen that the space size of the practice room, including the space for practice and the area for exhibition, should be expanded. Based on the research results, the spatial environment for the operation of future teaching and learning classes is based on the public curriculum classroom system, and whether professional curriculum classes, such as lecture rooms and discussion and presentation rooms, are secured according to the number of students.
