Finishing materials and colors which were expressed in the space is an important factor to decide the imagination of the space. Therefore if we analyze and spotlight the space with that factors again, we will readily know the characteristics that are expressed in our living space. A purpose of this study is how the traditionality like national thoughts, customs and behavior patterns is changed, arranged and expressed in the korean housing space in the 21c on the finishing materials and colors. Though this study we can know that the traditionality which are expressed in modern housing spaces shows with accommodating to characteristic that is expressed in traditional housing spaces.

The purposed of this study is searching the characteris-tic of 'Movement' expression by the Moving experience in display space. First, the concept of 'Movement' was defined by visitor's moving experiences according to the time pass and to visual perception. Exhibit cases were analygied to fine the relationships the defined 'Movement' experience with display spaces. But, 'Movement' is related moving experience from the entrance to importance of display space, and that is picked out key word in movement expression. Consequently, two category (visual expression, expres-sion method) to regard on the space design in display space was suggested focused on the concept of 'Movement'.

Light plays an important role in making a continuity of space and in determining the distinctive expression and char-acter of a space. Particularly, the introduction of natural light derives from our esthetic needs, as well as from the fundamental biologi-cal necessities of human beings. And also, adaptation to time and space is the vital factor of human survival and prosperity. Our visual recognition of light is usually formed not only by practical illumination but by analogy, expection and expe-rienced of lighting itself. As the forecase of natural light is (almost) impossible be-cause of variables such as changing weather, reflection rate of light and the patterns of shade, in designing the introduc-tion of daylight, there should be follow-ed careful considera-tion of the adaptation to such variety and the impet-us of light. The research was conducted to mane a contribution to cre-ate more rich and beautiful interior spaces by studying the characteristic of light which is one of the important factors of interior space design, and by inquiring the way to intro-duce light and its effect through the practical examples of Alvar Aalto, Le Corbusier and Louis I. Kahn.

By providing an environment where energetic particles and micrometeorites can not penetrate, caves on Mars may serve as a human shelter in future Mars explorations. More than 1,000 cave entrance candidates have been detected; however, their physical characteristics that can be utilized in detecting more candidates have not been explored in detail. In this paper, we explore the nighttime temperature of 100 cave entrance candidates and their surrounding areas to investigate 1) the nighttime temperature tendencies relative to their surrounding areas and 2) the extent of these temperature differences. We find that 79% of the cave entrance candidates exhibit higher temperatures than the surrounding areas, and 59% show a temperature difference over 20K, suggesting that the cave entrances may generally show higher temperatures than the surrounding areas during the nighttime.

본 연구는 스페이스 X사의 팔컨 9 발사체의 비행 데이터를 수집하였고 분석하였다. 모든 임무는 극궤도, SSO, ISS, LEO, GTO와 같은 궤도의 종류에 따라 분류하였다. 1단 발사체의 메인 엔진 종료, 역추진, 재진입, 착륙 연소의 특징적인 기동에서 속도, 고도, 동압, 가속도 등의 물리 변수의 변화를 조사하였다. 상세한 기동 분석으로부터 가이드라인을 제안하였고 이는 재사용 발사체 개발을 위한 설계 및 평가 기준으로 사용될 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to suggest the materials for developing the new house style by analysing the space characteristics of wood frame houses in suburbs of Seoul. For this, we analysed 45 drawings(site plan, floor plan, elevation, section) that were designed by MICHOO, WOOD-LAND, STUGA and CHOWONJUTECK company etc. The space design characteristics that we found are as follows; 1. The wood is fragile to humidity. Therefore this characteristic is especially considered in designing the space of bathroom and utility room. 2. It is the merit of wood frame house that inner space can be designed variously by using spilt-level and the slope of roof. 3.The public space and private space are completely separated in most cases and the stair is located in the middle of house. This structure of house is short of horizontal openness. Instead, most houses gets vertical openness by making second floor on the living room opev. 4. In wood frame house as the rural house, the outer space is well used by setting up deck and balcony. The outer spaces like deck and balcony are usually used as a part of life space in connected with living room, dining room, master bed room and family room. 5. The public spaces like kitchen, living room, dining room and family room are considered so important in design that those are arranged in front in order to have good outlook and directiov.

This study places a great emphasis on the approaches to the space environment we inhabit, which I hope will contribute to generating a number of creative possibilities. Looking into 'site-specificity' which is characteristic by public art in public space method based on Daniel Buren's works 'in situ', this study analyze the relationship between the public space and works of art as a perspective of public art. The characteristics of his 'in situ' works that intervened works exist as space consisting of serial factors not simply art-object, and they suggest 'site Is a work'. The case study of Daniel Buren's public art project represented the results, the site marketing and serves as a guideline for the future of true Art/Space experiments. This study verifies the need for the arts and the space to work together in order to develop more creative and conceptual approaches to innovation and presentation. This cooperation is the continuation of space design by other means.

A study of light in Kahn's architecture must be significance as a work in building new architectural space and a new foundation for architecture, as well as clarification of the uniqueness of Kahn's architectural space and search for its significance. In addition, the study provides a greater comprehension of an the concept of Kahn's architecture by clarifying the degree of association of light into other concepts of architecture. Therefore, this study attempts to examine Louis I. Kahn's statement, sketch and work. His sketch along with the characteristics of the technique how to present it also enables comprehension of other aspects of architecture as a means to revive architecture. Khan's use of light enabled the evolution of primarily two types 'specular surface' and 'unique opening part' by associating them with the need to diminish glaringness. Each of these types has been evolved individually and is indicative of a concept of light that can be largely divided into ' object's light ' and ' space's light ' Object's light refers to a type in which the formative significance of structural part and different directions of light coexist, and its formative characteristics play a role that differentiate places within space. Space's light is present on wall spaces that limit space and exhibits its distinguished role differentiating places within space in the form of 'expression'.

Lately in many cases, Spaces are designed by stimulating user's sensibility, emotion, psychological software over based on the user behavior and purpose of space. Because space is not only practical using and use purpose but also the place for expressing ourselves by experiences. But space is a physical thing. so we need to arrange a structure of abstract and formless source of design by sophisticated grammaticalization. Especially storytelling of that abstract thing have characteristics of relation, process among users and space. because storytelling is focused on the discourse of stories and relationship record of that discourses. So this is used by expression device for user's emotion things and subjects in numerous cases. And storytelling is the basic, important element for user's experience in a space. By the way, Overlapping is also basic element for being possible to make experiences by concrete thing. that is because, Overlapping is layering phenomenon of some objects. Overlapping is made distance, distance make depth, and this relations take us an experience. Finally storytelling, Overlapping and space of experience are relation of cause and effect. So in this thesis, researcher looks for the relation characteristics between storytelling and overlapping by experience. and makes the abstract source into concrete and sophisticated formular.

원자산소, 입자복사, 진공 및 열주기 등과 같은 우주환경요소의 복합적인 영향으로 인하여 우주용 자재의 특성 및 물성치에 급격한 성능저하가 일어나게 된다. 따라서 우주환경이 자재에 미치는 특성변화 매커니즘을 이해하고 차세대 우주프로그램에 적용될 수 있는 신소재 개발을 위하여 NASA, ESA 및JAXA와 같은 선진 우주기관에서는 국제우주정거장 또는 LDEF 실험위성 등에 적용된 자재시편을 활용하여 많은 연구를 지속적으로 수행하고 있다. 본 논문에서는NASA 및 JAXA의 우주용 자재연구동향과 ESA의 우주자재 선정기준에 대하여 소개하고자한다.
