A Look at the Physics Concept Hierarchy of Pre-service Physics Teacher Through the Knowledge State Analysis Method (지식상태 분석법을 통한 예비 물리교사들의 학년별 물리개념 위계도 분석)

  • In order to be efficient teachers should understand the current level of leaners through diagnostic evaluation. However, it is arduous to administer a diagnostic examination in every class because of various limitations. This study examined, the major issues arising from the development of a new science diagnostic evaluation system by incorporating the using knowledge state analysis method. The proposed evaluation system was based on the knowledge state analysis method. Knowledge state analysis is a method where by a distinguished collection of knowledge uses the theory of knowledge space. The theory of knowledge space is very advantageous when analyzing knowledge in strong hierarchies like mathematics and science. It helps teaching plan through methodically analyzing a hierarchy viewpoint for students' knowledge structure. The theory can also enhance objective validity as well as support a considerable amount of data fast by using the computer. In addition, student understanding is improved through individualistic feedback. In this study, an evaluation instrument was developed that measured student learning outcome, which is unattainable from the existing method. The instrument was administered to pre-service physics teachers, and the results of student evaluation was analyzed using the theory of knowledge space. Following this, a revised diagnostic evaluation system for facilitating student individualized learning was constructed.

  • In order to recommend the mechanical smoke exhaust operation mode, Subway Environmental Simulation (SES) is used to predict the airflow of the inlet and outlet tunnel for the subway station. Fire Dynamic Simulation (FDS) is used the SES's velocity boundary conditions to clarity the smoke exhaust effectiveness by the variations with mechnical ventilation system. We compared each 6 types of smoke exhaust systems for the result of smoke density and temperature distributions for 1.5m height from the subway station base in order to clarify the safety evaluation for the heat and smoke exhaust on subway fire.

  • In paper, We evaluated for various diode type ESD protection device using TLP measurement method. An Evaluation diode is divided to Enclosed type and Stripe type as pattern style in extensive. These diodes is split up followed factor that Anode-to-Cathod space, N+ region width, Multi type and Contact to Active space. After a TLP measurement, we can be got the Vt2, It2 by I-V characteristic values. In the results, diode of enclosed type is present relatively higher Current capability(It2) than stripe type in a same voltage conditions. And the Second-breakdown voltage(Vt2) were that Stripe type's diode higher than Enclosed type's diode as have $14{\sim}15V$. Finally we suggest the best diode design condition as ESD protection device using entire consequence.

  • An apparel products retrieval system was proposed in which users can refer to products using Kansei evaluation values. The system adopts relevance feedback using history of the retrieval to learn the tendency of user evaluation. The system is based on a vector space retrieval model using products images expression as semantic scales. The system makes a query from user inputting information and retrieves closest products from the database. Revising algorithms of the difference method. linear multiple regression performed to investigate the effectiveness and criteria of the search. As a result of evaluation of the accuracy, it was found that the linear multiple regression and the neural network models are effective for the retrieval considering the individual Kansei.

Middle School Students' Knowledge State Analysis about Light

  • In this study, 15 evaluation questions about light were developed and presented to 30 middle school students, and then the theory of knowledge space was used to analyze the status of the middle school students' knowledge about light. Not only was the state of the students' knowledge about light intended to be measured by schematizing the knowledge hierarchy obtained; the data obtained were also intended to be used as basic materials to improve the teaching methods used. To achieve the purpose of this study, the evaluation results, the individual knowledge state, and the hierarchy of questions were analyzed. As a result, different knowledge structures were found in the individuals and groups, and it was determined that individuals and groups should be diagnosed differently. In addition, the implication that there is a connection between each question and the individual knowledge state was drawn.

  • This study has carried out a series of field investigation for a ASSM railway tunnel which was constructed several decades ago. It appears that the tunnel lining was cracked in the region of arching structure. Precise inspection is carried out for this region with various non-destructive testing equipments. Based on the inspection results, the cause and the effect of tunnel defects were discussed by conducting the evaluation of tunnel safety with numerical analysis.

  • The recently-developed automated vessels require a system which evaluates the operating condition of the ship at present position form weather information as well as sensors; forecasts the operation condition the sea state to come in foreseeable future ; and suggests the optimum course and speed for ship's sa-fety.   • The objective of this study is to analyze the space usage and user evaluation of community facility in High rise Mixed-use Apartment. This study was conducted case study and questionnaire survey. Four High rise Mixed-use Apartments built since 2000 were chosen for case study and 166 residents were collected for questionnaire survey. The frequency, percentage, mean, t-test and F-test were executed through SPSS for Win 12.0 statistics package program. The types of community facilities of High rise Mixed-use Apartments were consisted of sports, child care/study, information sharing, leisure/cultural facilities. The usage percentage of community facilities increased since the residents have moved to their current residence of High rise Mixed-use Apartments from their previous residence. The most satisfactory facility was sports facilities. The satisfaction of community facilities showed high in general. The satisfaction of community facilities was significant with gender and age.

  • In an evaluation process of aircraft flying qualities, a clear and concise application interface is important since an evaluation process requires numerous repeated evaluation. This flight evaluation program have implemented efficient flight evaluation user interface along with changed trim condition interface and composed of comprehensive evaluation interface have mounted all automated FQ evaluation modules that was selected to be compose of 14 items in respect of an unmanned fixed-wing aircraft. Accordingly when it is necessary to design the flight control system as well as to develop a FQ considered aircraft, this S/W can be utilized as a tool that is a useful test evaluation S/W with scalability and enable to reduce the time and the cost of verification and evaluation process.
