A switch box is metal box for electric wire pipes in building. In manufacturing this box, the first press is used to mold and the second to fifth presses are used to process four-sides of a box. So four presses, four molds and four workers are needed. This leads to raise the manufacturing cost including machine lease rent, molding fee, and wages. To make matters worse, the roaring sound, vibration, and dangers of safety accidents make employees avoid from working that job. To solve this problem, a new Handling Mechanism and a cam die which combined four-die-involving processes into one die process were developed. That results job automation of the Job with one press and one die. The job avoidance problem is solved and manufacturing cost is reduced as well.
Background: This study seeks to examine the relationship and impact of occupational health and safety on employees' organizational commitment in Ghana's mining industry. The study explores occupational health and safety and the different dimensions of organizational commitment. Methods: A cross-sectional survey design was used for this study. The respondents were selected based on simple random sampling. Out of 400 questionnaires administered, 370 were returned (77.3% male and 22.7% female) and used for the study. Correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to determine the relationship and impact between the variables. Results: The findings of this study revealed positive and significant relationship between occupational health and safety management, and affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Additionally, the results revealed the significant impact of occupational health and safety on affective, normative, and continuance commitment. Conclusion: Management within the mining sector of Ghana must recognize the fact that workers who feel healthy and safe in the performance of their duties, develop emotional attachment and have a sense of obligation to their organization and are most likely committed to the organization. Employees do not just become committed to the organization; rather, they expect management to first think about their health and safety needs by instituting good and sound policy measures. Thus, management should invest in the protection of employees' health and safety in organizations.
Many poeple has been engaged in industry is aware of the dangers from exposure to high intensity nose levels. The exposure to high intensity noise is encountered in a large number of situations. Laws governing the safety and health of employed people being to create a suitable working environment and eliminate unsafety practices and processes. Work areas should be designed and laid out so that they are satisfactory both from the environmental and safety points of view. In this connection safety also implies that noise is kept at a level which is not likety to cause hearing damage. This study was performed to measure the noise of press and assembly process in an automobile factory. and suggested the method of noise control. Consequently the effect ways of reducing level in working environment are as follows; 1. Changes to machines which would reduce noise generation. 2. Alteration of equipment to avoid impact in machinery and handing materials. 3. Enclosure of noisy machines or machine parts. 4. Mounting of attenuators on gas and air outlets as well as ventilation ducts. 5. Erection of sound absorbing screens. linings. and baffles in work areas. 6. The personal ear protectors can be chosen to protect the workers.
Use of herbicides in Korean agriculture has increased rapidly in recent years accompanying with ever-increasing pressure of farm labor shortage. Herbicides occupied already the second place in the rank of pesticides consumption in 1977. The agricultural experiment stations have carried out over 50 trials of chemical weed control each year since 1968. These research works and registration trials contributed much to the present wide use of herbicides. The pesticide management act amended in 1977 requires reevaluation of pesticides for their efficacy every 5 year-term. However, the development of sound weed control program and recommendations has been hempered very much by the lack of qualified workers of weed control research in agricultural experiment stations and in the institute for pesticide registration trial. Critical review of the past research works on herbicide evaluation and the present status indicates strong need for 1) the characterization of the nature of local and national weed problem, 2) the improvement of ability of the staffs in charge of weed control research through appropriate training on the basics and experimental techniques, and 3) organization and activities of weed control research committee. Furthermore, the present article attempts to clarify commonly misled points in the establishment of herbicide evaluation plan, in the design and execution of field trials, and in the assessment of trial results of the past works from the viewpoint of the basic principles with some case studies for resolution of specific enigmas.

Most cases of power transformer failure are caused by physical factors linked to the transient vibrations of multiple 120Hz combinations. In addition, the noise generated in the transformer from this vibration not only directly contributes to the worsening of the work environment but also causes psychological stress, resulting in the worsening of the workers efficiency and of the living environment of the inhabitants around the power plant. Thus, to remedy these problems, the mechanical-excitation forces working on a power transformer were categorized in this study, and the mechanical-damage mechanism was identified through the vibration transfer paths acting on machines or structures. In addition, a study on active noise cancellation in a transformer using the FXLMS algorithm was conducted to develop a system that is capable of multiple-sound/channel control, which resulted in the active noise reduction effect when applied on the field.

In case of the construction equipment using by the military camp, such equipments are different from those equipments using at general construction site, of which muffler(silencer) is attached at the passenger seat side, since such equipments are obsoleted, it is great part that a considerably loud noises are continuously diffusing. When working, such noise can be influenced a lot of effects to those working soldiers nearby the equipment, and though it is really terrible loud noise as much as can arise a civil complaints by neighboring civilians, but because its specialty of the military, it is real state that there are many difficulties in establishing an effective soundproof countermeasure due to study shortage and lack of the relevant material regarding to military construction equipment. Accordingly, this study has ever grasped the characteristics of noise by its each frequencies and by distances about those 9 kinds of construction equipments using chiefly by the military camp. As the result, it was known that the military construction equipment is generating the loud noise which can influence bad effect to the workers, and such high sound pressure level of low frequency band can harm even to far distance.
Purpose: Medical support staff nurses have traditionally performed various supportive tasks for physicians, often extending beyond standard nursing roles. Despite these long-standing practices, there is a notable lack of official recognition and legal protection for these expanded responsibilities, leading to increasing legal concerns. Therefore, there is a need for proposing a rational solution to address these issues. Methods: The number of medical support staff nurses is rising, particularly as they fill gaps left by the 2024 resident physician strike. The study focuses on identifying potential challenges arising from this shift and developing strategic improvements to address these challenges effectively. Results: This study proposed legally expanding the scope of nursing duties and creating a robust system for training and certifying nurses to handle these responsibilities effectively, by integrating these roles within the advanced practice nurse (APN) framework. Conclusion: Integrating these roles within the framework of APN can offer a sustainable and legally sound solution to the ongoing healthcare crisis, ensuring patient safety and safeguarding healthcare workers' legal rights.
The training of forest ranger level and forest worker level to push the sound forest management and to increase the employment effects in forestry will be done without delay as soon as possible. So several opinions to be considered are here discussed. 1. The ranger level will be at first completely trained with the technics developed and modernized, to process really the sound forest management based on the concept of ecological and economical technic. 2. The organization of vocational training and it's systematical training method will be newly adopted to increase the labour efficiency in forestry. The case of fulltime worker level should be more intensively trained and part-time worker or forest famer level should be trained by the forest ranger and skilled worker with visiting circularly their working place. And the daily employed workers and village people for working should be done by the skilled workers. 3. The training subjects for them at the beginning step will be exploited by the instructors and concerned experts with studying their current conditions. Their practical training is more reasonable to do in the practically managing forest and to carry out under the responsible of leader of this forest. 4. The instructors included rangers of training forest will get specially certain intensive training through the aids of outside experts or through the group instruction with them. 5. The training fields and their reasons to be learned by them are discussed in this paper from the basic knowledge to the skill technics. 6. In oder to systematize and mordernize more rapidly our forest technics that need for training them and also applying directly in the forest management, a total effort of certain type by scientists and technicians scattered individually all over the country is now earnestly demanded to synthesize their knowledge, technic and experience. So to do like this, the establishment of certain organization through which can do their total efforts together will be considered and assisted by the concerned authority. 7. For better lieving of full-time workers, the whole-round year working amount have to be supplied though the work technic-and working plan development. And under the conditions that the timber harvesting work is still not so enough and it has a bad climatic season, the in-side working system and side - job aids will be developed for their sound lieving. 8. The organization of labour management will be soon introduced in the concerning administrativ authority to solve the forest labour problems and to increase the employing effects in forestry in future. 9. The supply programm of improved and trained tools and maschines for forest work is also considered to use by the trained persons. If not to do so, the training results will return to the original condition and will get nothing any more.
In this paper, the proposing a fundamental data for a systematic and effective organizational management by examining the extent of the levels of conflict perceiving among individuals of social welfare workers in the Busan community social welfare center, a social welfare organizations, and investigating the related influencing factors are the purpose of the study, The summary of this study is as follows. At first, it is dysfunctional when the level of conflict is either exceedingly high or low in the interrelational conflict aspect. However, the social welfare workers' working in the community social welfare center, the extent of individual conflict is relatively low as 2.37 out of 5 points. Secondly, the multi-regression analysis is operated for controlling the population sociological factors and measuring the effectiveness of the conflict factors to the level of conflict. The influencing factors affects the result in the order of greater extent are communication factor, leader's flexibility of leadership factor, spontaneity among personality, confidentiality. As a result, Not like the case that in the technological bureaucratic organizations such as the enterprises or industrial organizations, in the human service organizations including social welfare organizations, these technological bureaucratic paradigm does not applying directly since the material of organization is composed of humans who are given moral values. Therefore, this paradigm should be put as a presupposition of the conflict management strategy. And, the communication among colleagues, learning a reasonable problem solution method, or the chances of education or training for establishing a sound human relationship should be prepared in order to lower the level of the conflict among individuals in the community social welfare department. Furthermore, professional education programs are needed for not only supporting an effective supervision and consultation(consultation with superiors and colleagues), but also, working with confidentiality and pride as a professional.

Fishermen have higher risk of occupational injuries and disease due to frequent machine usage and direct contact to live biological materials. Moreover, growing elderly workers makes the susceptibility to occupational injuries and disease higher. This study was performed to investigate the occupational safety and health status among fishermen. The interview was carried out at Jumunjin and Geojin ports which were representative port at North East side of Korea. The structured questionnaire were used to interview the fishermen from AM 6:00 to PM 11:00 and total respondent were 97 workers. The results were followed; 7 fishermen of all respondents experienced occupational injuries during their work, 5 fishermen were needed to admission longer than 4 days. The injury types were contusion(4 persons), fracture(1 persons) and amputation(2 persons). The cause of injury might be the lack of caution and the unstability of working condition. These results suggested the ergonomical evaluation of working condition and proper management. But there was limited concern and studies on the policy on occupational safety and health on fishermen. So, further study was required to establish the sound policy of fishermen's occupational safety and health.
