Duct ANC System에서 부가음원 방향별 소음감소효과 (Noise Attenuation Effect According to the Direction of Secondary Sound Source in Duct ANC System)

  • In this paper, we studied on an attenuation effect of automobile exhaust noise according to the direction of canceling speaker in ANC system. Automobile exhaust noise was recorded at 800 rpm, 3500 rpm and 5000 rpm of a diesel engine. Directions of canceling speaker can be set to $30^{\circ}$, $90^{\circ}$ and $150^{\circ}$ against the primary noise flow by acrylic ducts to be made for the experimentation. DSP board with TMS320C6416 chip of Texas Instrument Co. used to control the ANC system. The algorithm of this ANC system applied the Filtered-x-LMS algorithm that is modified to compensate for a property of DSP input signal and the secondary-path effect. As an experiment result, the direction of canceling speaker was proved to influence the reduction effect of noise. The $150^{\circ}$ duct in the attenuation effect of noise showed a better result than the $90^{\circ}$ or $30^{\circ}$ duct.

화재비상경보음의 건물 내 전달특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Propagation Characteristics of Fire Alarm Sound in Buildings)

  • 본 연구에서는 건축 실내음향 특성파악에 이용되는 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 비상경보설비의 음향장치에 공급되는 전압의 변동에 따른 비상경보설비음의 전달특성을 파악하였다. 현재 가장 널리 사용되고 있는 비상경보설비의 음향장치 음향파워레벨(정격전압 DC 24V)은 경종은 98.6dB, 전자식사이렌 스피커는 95.7dB 그리고 전자식사이렌 폰은 101.8dB로 측정되었다. 또한 경종은 주파수 증가에 따라 음항파워레벨이 증가하고 고주파 대역에서 피크 레벨을 보이는데 반해 전자사이렌의 폰형과 스피커형은 135~200Hz에서 최저음향파워레벨을 보이다가 이후 급격히 증가하는 패턴을 나타냈다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 비상경보설비와의 이격거리에 따른 전달특성을 살펴보면, 대상건물의 복도에서는 전체적으로 고른 분포를 보여주고 있다. 하지만 인접해 있는 강의실에서는 벽체 부분을 제외한 우회전달음의 영향으로 비상경보설비 음향장치의 주파수 특성에 따라 전달되는 음압레벨의 차가 크게 발생하였다. 향후 예측수법의 정확도와 타당성 검토을 통한 화재비상경보음의 전달특성을 건축물의 계획 시에 예측 비교한다면 화재 경보의 인지 가능성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

  • 일반적으로 진동판의 크기와 형태는 스피커의 음파 방출 효율과 재생대역 및 왜곡특성을 결정하는 중요한 요인이다. 지금까지 대부분의 연구결과들은 직경 25mm 이상, 두께 0.1mm 이상의 다양한 소재의 진동판으로 이루어진 스피커들을 대상으로 하였다. 그러나 현재 수요가 급증하고 있는 마이크로스피커에 사용되는 진동판들은 직경이 20mm 이하이고, 그 두께는 수십 ${\mu}m$ 필름 소재를 사용하고 있다. 이러한 이유로 마이크로스피커의 동작특성은 일반적인 스피커에 비해 재생대역이 좁고, 고조파 왜가 크게 나타난다. 본 논문은 수 십 ${\mu}m$ 두께의 필름 진동판을 사용하는 마이크스피커의 설계 시, 기본적인 특성을 예측할 수 있도록 하기 위해 진동판의 두께 변화, 단면의 곡률변화에 따른 스피커의 특성 변화를 조사하였다.

자동차 오디오용 서브우퍼 개발 (Development of Subwoofer for Car Audio System)

  • In this paper, computational analysis and experiments of subwoofer for car audio speaker system were performed and discussed to analyze acoustical phenomena for subwoofer. Ported enclosure system with subwoofer were manufactured and provided for test and simulation purposes. Subwoofer with single voice coil and double voice coil were identified by linear and nonlinear parameter identification method for loudspeaker parameters. For high power inputs to subwoofer, sound pressure levels were compared according to input powers with linear and nonlinear loudspeaker models. For subwoofer system with high power nonlinear speaker model was showed to be adequate to describe the behaviour of loudspeaker.

운전 중 휴대폰 사용 방지 모듈 및 애플리케이션 (Module and Application to Prevent Cell Phone Use While Driving)

  • In this paper, we have developed a module that prevents a driver from using mobile phone while driving. The module is equipped with a vibration sensor to determine if the vehicle is running, a BLE module to transmit the status of the module and a speaker to transmit audible/unaudible sound to the mobile terminal where GUI application is installed. If the vehicle is judged to be moving, the application is activated and the touch function of the mobile phone is blocked. Other data are also transmitted depending on the state of the module, which informs forced module removal, battery failure, or sleep mode of the module.

격자구조로 배열된 실린더에 의한 음파감쇠 (Sound Attenuation by Cylinders Arranged in a Lattice)

  • Sound attenuation of periodically arranged cylindrical rods is studied numerically and experimentally. Cross section of the cylinder is circular and arrays are in a square lattice. Cylinders are made of steel, and consist of five groups with different diameters from 27.2 mm to 48 mm. Each group has 5 rows, while number of cylinders in a row varies from 17 to 31. The area filling fraction is about 60~61 %, which leads to the stop bandgap(2.9 kHz ~ 8.4 kHz). Sound attenuation is computed using two-dimensional BEM, and measurement is done by using a speaker and microphones in a semi-anechoic room. Comparison of the results by BEM and experiment shows that attenuation spectra are qualitatively in agreement, although experiment gives higher attenuations than BEM. After results by BEM are scaled up in accordance with cylinder diameter, it is observed that attenuation curves are in good agreement, which confirms that analysis by BEM is done correctly. It is also found that the measured bandgaps are shifted toward lower frequency by 0.5 kHz ~ 1.2 kHz, when compared to the predictions obtained from infinitely repeated two-dimensional cylinder arrays.

제주도 연안의 각망어업에 있어서 수중음악에 의한 어군의 유집에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Luring of fish Shoals into the Fyke net by the Underwater Sound Emission)

  • The authors carried out a field experiment to confirm the effect of underwater sound on the luring of fish schools in a setnet in the coast of Cheju Island. The effects of the acoustic emission on the luring of fish schools were observed using a manufectured underwater speaker in the setnet, and pure sound, of which frequency was 600Hz and the source level was 126dB, was emitted on and off at 5 minutes intervals in the set net during the night of ,July 29 and ,July 31. So we had recorded behavior of fish schools by the telesounder with two channel and shape of the setnet by underwater video camera and analyzed them. When the flood and ebb currents were around the setnet, the nets rised to the surface of water and it happened occasionaly at the stand of tide. Therefore, it was in the state that fish schools feel constraint to enter into the setnet, and was required a new design of the setnet stand up to strong tidal current. As the pure sound, of which frequency was 600Hz was emitted for the luring of fish schools in a setnet, the catch ammounts of fish, the young horce mackereWI'rachllrlls japonicus), was increased 4~6 times than not emitted.

장방향 복도 공간의 비상방송설비에 대한 음압 레벨과 음성 명료도 비교 (Comparison of Sound Pressure Level and Speech Intelligibility of Emergency Broadcasting System at Longitudinal Corridor)

  • 본 연구에서는 건축음향시뮬레이션을 통하여 재실자에게 비상방송 설비에서 발생되는 비상 방송음이 명확하게 전달되는지를 알아보기 위하여 장방형 복도를 대상으로 NFSC 202의 기준에 따라 25 m 간격으로 비상 방송용 확성기가 설치되었을 때 건축마감재료 변경에 따라 음압레벨, 음성명료도 지표를 비교분석하였다. 마감재료로 흡음특성이 낮은 재료를 적용한 경우 충분한 음압 레벨은 확보할 수 있었지만, 재실자가 비상 방송음을 알아듣기 매우 어려운 수준의 음성명료도를 보였다. 마감재료로 흡음재료를 적용함에 따라 음성 명료도, 음성 전달 지수는 재실자가 잘 알아들을 수 있는 수준으로 개선이 가능한 것으로 나타났지만 재실자에게 전달되는 음압 레벨이 감소되며 같은 공간 내 레벨 차이가 크게 발생되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 흡음재료를 사용하여 음성명료도를 확보하고자 할 경우 고른 음압 레벨 분포를 확보하기 위하여 비상 방송용 확성기를 설치간격 조정 등이 필요한 것으로 나타났다.

컴퓨터를 이용한 억양 교육 프로그램 개발 : 프랑스어 억양 교육을 중심으로 (Intonation Training System (Visual Analysis Tool) and the application of French Intonation for Korean Learners)

  • This study is concerned with the educational program Visual Analysis Tool (VAT) for sound development for foreign intonation using personal computer. The VAT can run on IBM-PC 386 compatible or higher. It shows the spectrogram, waveform, intensity and the pitch contour. The system can work freely on either waveform zoom in-out or the documentation of measured value. In this paper, intensity and pitch contour information were used. Twelve French sentences were recorded from a French conversational tape. And three Korean participated in this study. They spoke out twelve sentences repeatly and trid to make the same pitch contour - by visually matching their pitcgh contour to the native speaker's. A sentences were recorded again when the participants themselves became familiar with intonation, intensity and pauses. The difference of pitch contour(rising or falling), pitch value, energy, total duration of sentences and the boundary of rhythmic group between native speaker's and theirs before and after training were compared. The results were as following: 1) In a declarative sentence: a native speaker's general pitch contour falls at the end of sentences. But the participant's pitch contours were flat before training. 2) In an interrogative: the native speaker made his pitch contours it rise at the end of sentences with the exception of wh-questions (qu'est-ce que) and a pitch value varied a greath. In the interrogative 'S + V' form sentences, we found the pitch contour rose higher in comparison to other sentences and it varied a great deal. 3) In an exclamatory sentence: the pitch contour looked like a shape of a mountain. But the participants could not make it fall before or after training.
