In order to learn an existing song and create a new song using an artificial neural network, it is necessary to convert the song into numerical data that the neural network can recognize as a preprocessing process, and one-hot encoding has been used until now. In this paper, we proposed a note embedding method using notes as a basic unit and a bar embedding method that uses the bar as the basic unit, and compared the performance with the existing one-hot encoding. The performance comparison was conducted based on quantitative evaluation to determine which method produced a song more similar to the song composed by the composer, and quantitative evaluation methods used in the field of natural language processing were used as the evaluation method. As a result of the evaluation, the song created with bar embedding was the best, followed by note embedding. This is significant in that the note embedding and bar embedding proposed in this paper create a song that is more similar to the song composed by the composer than the existing one-hot encoding.

Objectives: The purpose of this report was to review the clinical trials of the catgut embedding for obesity treatment. Methods: We searched the clinical trial papers with key words of obesity and catgut embedding via searching Pubmed, Scopus and KISS etc. Results: We reviewed 8 searched articles, 7 articles were conducted in China and only 1 article was published in Korea. Most of Chinese articles used acupuncture as a control group and revealed the equality or superiority of catgut embedding in body weight loss. The only Korean article, which was uncontrolled, implanted catgut in localized fat area, it had changes partially in fat thick, body size. Conclusions: The acupoint catgut embedding has the efficacy of body weight loss, but to confirm the efficacy of localized fat loss, more randomized controlled trials are needed.

This study focuses on improving a word embedding model to enhance the performance of downstream tasks, such as those of dialog systems. To improve traditional word embedding models, such as skip-gram, it is critical to refine the word features and expand the context model. In this paper, we approach the word model from the perspective of subword embedding and attempt to extend the context model by integrating various sentence models. Our proposed sentence model is a subword-based skip-thought model that integrates self-attention and relative position encoding techniques. We also propose a clustering-based dialog model for downstream task verification and evaluate its relationship with the sentence-model-based subword embedding technique. The proposed subword embedding method produces better results than previous methods in evaluating word and sentence similarity. In addition, the downstream task verification, a clustering-based dialog system, demonstrates an improvement of up to 4.86% over the results of FastText in previous research.

Objectives: The purpose of this systematic review was to overview and evaluate the effectiveness of acupoint catgut embedding for climacteric hot flush. Methods: We searched articles from CNKI, Pubmed CENTRAL, Koreantk, Oasis online databases. After searching the articles, we performed quality assessment using Cochrane risk of bias (RoB) tools. Results: Among the 20 articles were searched, one radomized controlled clinical trial (RCT) was selected. 1 Study showed that Acupoint catgut embedding treatment has significant effect on climacteric hot flush in terms of the effectiveness rate. Conclusions: This study found encouraging but limited evidence of aupoint catgut embedding theragpy for climacteric hot flush.

Objectives : The aim of this study is to report a case of idiopathic oculomotor nerve palsy improved by Korean Medicine therapy including needle-embedding therapy. Methods : We treated a 69-year old male patient who has Rt. ptosis, Rt. eye movement impairment, and dizziness with various Korean medical therapy including acupuncture, Bojungikgitanggami, and Hominis Placenta pharmacopuncture. To promote recovery, we additionally performed needle-embedding therapy to periocular acupoints. Results : Ptosis started to remarkably improve after performing needle-embedding therapy. After 54 days of treatment, ptosis and eye movement impairment of Rt. eye were significantly improved similar to the normal eye. Dizziness was cured in a few days after administration. Conclusions : This case suggests Korean medicine including needle-embedding therapy is effective against oculomotor nerve palsy symptoms especially for ptosis.

According to the characteristics of adaptive JPEG steganography which determines the changed DCT coefficients based on embedding distortion, a new steganalysis method by selecting the DCT coefficients with small distortion values is proposed. Firstly, the principle of adaptive JPEG steganography through minimizing distortion is introduced. Secondly, the practicability of selecting the changed DCT coefficients according to distortion values is studied. Thirdly, the proposed steganalysis method is given and the embedding sensitivity of the steganalysis feature extracted from the selected DCT coefficients is analyzed. Lastly, the implement processes of the proposed method are presented and analyzed in details. In the experiments, PQt, PQe and J-UNIWARD steganography are used as examples to verify the effect of the proposed steganalysis method for adaptive JPEG steganography. A serial experimental results show the detection accuracy can be improved obviously, especially when the payload is relatively low.

통신 시스템에서의 더 늘어난 대역폭(Band Width)의 수요로 인해 집적회로(Integrated Circuit)에서 더 높은 동작 주파수(Operating Frequency)를 필요로 하게 되었다. 고주파 영역에서는 SRF(Self Resonance Frequency) 문제와 소자 값의 정확성(Accuracy)에 대한 문제 때문에 정수소자(Lumped Element)를 이용하여 해석을 할 수 없으며 이로 인하여 어떠한 회로의 전기적 특성을 평가함에 있어서 전송선로(Transmission Line)를 이용하여 해석을 하는 것은 중요한 역할을 하게 되었다. 이러한 해석을 위해 순수한 내부 특성을 얻기 위하여 디 임베딩(De-Embedding)이라는 기법이 사용되고 있으나, 알려진 몇 가지의 방법들은 인터커넥터 부분을 완벽히 나타내지 못한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 1-Port 측정을 기반으로 한 8-Term Error을 이용한 디 임베딩(De-Embedding) 방법을 이용하여 넓은 주파수 영역에서의 교정 값을 얻는 방법에 대하여 소개하고자 한다.

In this paper, we propose an automatic composition method using time series embedding of RNN Auto-Encoder. RNN Auto-Encoder can learn existing songs and can compose new songs from the trained RNN decoder. If one song is fully trained in the RNN Auto-Encoder, the song is embedded into the vector values of RNN nodes in the Auto-Encoder. If we train a lot of songs and apply a specific vector to the decoder of Auto-Encoder, then we can obtain a new song that combines the features of trained multiple songs according to the given vector. From extensive experiments we could find that our method worked well and generated various songs by selecting of the composition vectors.

The purpose of this study is to develop a theoretical framework to analyze the social processes of embedding new technologies, among others, green technologies, in society, and based on this, to identify problems and challenges in introducing and assimilating biogas technologies in local communities in Korea. Chapter Two strives to develop a framework to analyze the social processes of embedding new technologies in society. A couple of key concepts such as technology community, technology learning and technology politics are introduced and discussed. Chapter Three and Four examine the problems arising from the social processes of embedding biogas plant technologies in local communities in Korea and tries to suggest policy options to tackle these problems.

Objectives : This study is to evaluate the current situation of Japanese tourists for medical tour of Daejeon University hospital and to draw up a plan for better policies. Methods : 59 Japanese tourists visiting oriental medicines hospital of Daejeon University from January 2012 to September 2012, were analysed in the statistics. And 8 of them answer a questionnaire about reasons for selection of Daejeon University hospital, satisfaction for thread embedding therapy and side effects of thread embedding therapy. Results : A total of 59 foreigners visited oriental medicines hospital of Daejeon University for medical service, consisting of 54 females(92 %), the thirties to fifties 71 % by age. The 87.5 % of patients answered that the reason for choosing this hospital was the subsidization of the medical expenses, and 50 % for appropriate payment, 37.5 % for safety, 12.5 % for recommendation of the people who had good experience at this hospital. The 71% of patients selected thread-embedding therapy for treating wrinkles. The degree of satisfaction was evaluated as quite satisfaction of 87.5 %, full satisfaction of 12.5 % showing that a whole number of the patients treated with thread-embedding therapy showed relative satisfaction. This evaluation is, however, a short term survey which should lead to a further term study. For the evaluation of side effects of thread-embedding therapy, 75 % of patients answered as pain occurred during the therapy, 62.5 % as edema, 50 % as hypodermal bleeding. Conclusion : First of all, there should be more constructive promotion and support for medical tour of oriental medicines, ultimately leading to promoting better clusters of oriental medicines. Secondly, support in terms of a medical law should be established for medical disputes, and the best follow-up service should be considered.
