고효율 적층형 태양전지를 위한 유무기 페로브스카이트 (Organic-Inorganic Perovskite for Highly Efficient Tandem Solar Cells)

  • To overcome the theoretical efficiency of single-junction solar cells (> 30 %), tandem solar cells (or multi-junction solar cells) is considered as a strong nominee because of their excellent light utilization. Organic-inorganic halide perovskite has been regarded as a promising candidate material for next-generation tandem solar cell due to not only their excellent optoelectronic properties but also their bandgap-tune-ability and low-temperature process-possibility. As a result, they have been adopted either as a wide-bandgap top cell combined with narrow-bandgap silicon or CuInxGa(1-x)Se2 bottom cells or for all-perovskite tandem solar cells using narrow- and wide-bandgap perovskites. To successfully transition perovskite materials from for single junction to tandem, substantial efforts need to focus on fabricating the high quality wide- and narrow-bandgap perovskite materials and semi-transparent electrode/recombination layer. In this paper, we present an overview of the current research and our outlook regarding perovskite-based tandem solar technology. Several key challenges discussed are: 1) a wide-bandgap perovskite for top-cell in multi-junction tandem solar cells; 2) a narrow-bandgap perovskite for bottom-cell in all-perovskite tandem solar cells, and 3) suitable semi-transparent conducting layer for efficient electrode or recombination layer in tandem solar cells.

무선통신에 영향을 미치는 태양폭풍의 통계적 분석 (Statistical analysis for the solar eruption effect on wireless communication)

  • 세계2차대전을 통해 태양폭발은 레이더시스템에 큰 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 1942년 2월 28일의 전파교란 현상은 태양활동의 극대기에 증가한 우주 광선(cosmic ray)에 의한 것이었다. 이러한 사실들이 밝혀지면서 태양폭발 및 태양 입자 활동에 관한 연구가 활발히 이루어졌다. 태양폭발이 우주선에 미치는 영향, 극 운행 비행기에 미치는 영향, 레이더 시스템에 미치는 영향, 무선통신시스템에 미치는 영향 등에 대한 연구가 다양하게 이루어 지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지난 40여년 간의 태양전파 관측자료를 분석하여 태양폭발에 의해 무선통신에 미치는 영향과 태양활동주기간의 상관관계를 분석하였다.

  • Light induced degradation is one of the major research challenges of hydrogenated amorphous silicon related thin film silicon solar cells. Amorphous silicon shows creation of metastable defect states, originating from elevated concentration of dangling bonds during light exposure. The metastable defect states work as recombination centers, and mostly affects quality of intrinsic layer in solar cells. In this paper we present results of light induced degradation in thin film silicon solar cells and discussion on physical origin, mechanism and practical solutions of light induced degradation in thin film silicon solar cells. In-situ light-soaking IV measurement techniques are presented. We also present thin film silicon material with silicon nano-quantum dots embedded within amorphous matrix, which shows superior stability during light-soaking. Our results suggest that solar cell using silicon nano-quantum dots in abosrber layer shows superior stability under light soaking, compared to the conventional amorphous silicon solar cell.

  • In this paper, solar array of KOMPSAT was modeled and analyzed. The modeling results of solar array was achieved by neural algorithm, which is powerful of nonlinear system with a few data sets. The algorithm was analyzed and verified by simulation considering on solar cell data of KOMPSAT. The characteristics VI curves and power generation of solar array are analyzed by using the modeling.

  • The heat transfer analysis is performed on unloaded solar utilization dryer, and thermal performance for a prototype model while drying red-pepper is also investigated. Results of theoretically derived thermal equations are in good agreement with experimental data. This constructed feature of the prototype demonstrates the excellent technical drying performance. Finally, this paper recommends the further work to develop advanced and economic solar utilization multi-purpose dryer.

  • This paper has been analyzed, modeled, designed, fabricated, and tested for solar cell simulator which has solar array characteristics. The main purpose is the development of solar cell simulator to test electrical power subsystem for GEO Communication Spacecraft. The maximum power of the simulator is about 5 ㎾, which is consist of 12 independent simulator modules with 420 W power rating. The 12 simulator modules are independently controlled like as real solar array system.

  • This paper presents an experimental study of a solar drying system designed and installed by KIER. Experiments have been performed using the KIER system for the drying of marine products, such as squid. Presented in detail are the experimental observations of collector air temperature, solar intensity, absorber plate temperature, drying chamber temperature, humidity and other measures of drying chamber performance with variation of air mass flow rate. As a result, average temperature attained in the drying chamber during autumn weather has been adequated for drying of squids.

부하를 고려한 태양열온수시스템의 일간 집열효율에 대한 실험적 분석 (An Experimental Study on Daily Efficiency of Solar Collector with Heating Loads of Solar Water Heating System)

  • This paper describes an experimental study on efficiency of solar collector in solar water heating system connected to hourly water heating load. In general, the functional form of solar efficiency is expressed as a function of fluid temperature entering solar collector, ambient temperature, and solar irradiance. When energy saving from solar heating of water heating system is analyzed on along-term basis such as one year with given solar irradiance data, simplified analysis is more convenient han detailed system simulation for quick assessment. However, the functional form of the efficiency is not convenient for approximately simplified energy analysis because the inlet temperature can be obtained through a detailed system simulation. In the study, solar collector efficiency is obtained with various daily water heating load sand daily solar irradiance using experimental tests. The study also considers large residential buildings such as apartment buildings for application of solar water heating systems. From test results, it is found that daily solar collector efficiency is proportional to daily water heating loads and daily solar irradiance. The data obtained from the study can be utilized to find a functional relation between daily solar irradiance and daily heating load in stead of collector inlet temperature for application of solar collector efficiency to long-term approximated energy analysis of solar heating system.

  • Although PV module manufacturing and its structure are simple, the semi-permanent products can be used out doors for more than twenty years. Therefore it is need to choose proper materials and optimize manufacturing process. This paper suggest that factors of degradation need to be studied to achieve a more understanding of PV module Degradation rates and material failure. Nowadays durability of the PV Module is very important to sustain output safety for obtaining reliability. This paper is about the experiment that soldering uniformity of soldering process and to make least void from soldering process. From This study soldering flux residue and soldering method is main factor to form void blocked soldering uniformity and by using this.
