The purpose of this paper is found consistent mathematical data of Inter-reflection of calculation as a mean to grasp characteristics reflex of building materials that primarily uses in Building, and that comes in to the market. The measurement of directional characteristics of non-metallic Building Materials is based on seperation measurement of Boundary Reflected and Layer Reflected component using a Reflectmeter with Polarized. And this study analyzed with not only experiment but simulation to furnish basic data for illumination design to daylighting.
For obtaining estimates of a total magnetic flux, we propose to use measurements of ${\partial}I/{\partial}{\lambda}$. obtained by a modulation method which is formally identical to Stokes V-parameter measurements. In this case the polarization is not analyzed. It is advisable to use in measurements two parts of the spectral line wing.
A two-dimensional velocity map of natural convection in a rectangular cavity is determined using laser speckle photography. Isovelocity contour drawn by spatial filtering and local velocity by pointwise method are obtained. These results are compared with those of numerical analysis.
Background: Solar furnaces are used worldwide to conduct experiments to demonstrate the feasibility of solar-chemical processes with the aid of concentrated sunlight, or to qualify high temperature-resistant components. In recent years, high-flux solar simulators (HFSSs) based on short-arc xenon lamps are more frequently used. The emitted spectrum is very similar to natural sunlight but with dangerous portions of ultraviolet light as well. Due to special benefits of solar simulators the increase of construction activity for HFSS can be observed worldwide. Hence, it is quite important to protect employees against serious injuries caused by ultraviolet radiation (UVR) in a range of 100 nm to 400 nm. Methods: The UV measurements were made at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Cologne and Paul-Scherrer-Institute (PSI), Switzerland, during normal operations of the HFSS, with a high-precision UV-A/B radiometer using different experiment setups at different power levels. Thus, the measurement results represent UV emissions which are typical when operating a HFSS. Therefore, the biological effects on people exposed to UVR was investigated systematically to identify the existing hazard potential. Results: It should be noted that the permissible workplace exposure limits for UV emissions significantly exceeded after a few seconds. One critical value was strongly exceeded by a factor of 770. Conclusion: The prevention of emissions must first and foremost be carried out by structural measures. Furthermore, unambiguous protocols have to be defined and compliance must be monitored. For short-term activities in the hazard area, measures for the protection of eyes and skin must be taken.
Recently, thin-film solar cells of Cu(In,Ga)$Se_2$(CIGS) have reached a high level of performance, which has resulted in a 19.9%-efficient device. These conventional devices were typically fabricated using chemical bath deposited CdS buffer layer between the CIGS absorber layer and ZnO window layer. However, the short wavelength response of CIGS solar cell is limited by narrow CdS band gap of about 2.42 eV. Taking into consideration the environmental aspect, the toxic Cd element should be replaced by a different material. It is why during last decades many efforts have been provided to achieve high efficiency Cd-free CIGS solar cells. In order to alternate CdS buffer layer, ZnS buffer layer is grown by using chemical bath deposition(CBD) technique. The thickness and chemical composition of ZnS buffer layer can be conveniently by varying the CBD processing parameters. The processing parameters were optimized to match band gap of ZnS films to the solar spectrum and exclude the creation of morphology defects. Optimized ZnS buffer layer showed higher optical transmittance than conventional thick-CdS buffer layer at the short wavelength below ~520 nm. Then, chemically deposited ZnS buffer layer was applied to CIGS solar cell as a alternative for the standard CdS/CIGS device configuration. This CIGS solar cells were characterized by current-voltage and quantum efficiency measurement.

The electrical loss of the photo-generated carriers is dominated by the recombination at the metal- semiconductor interface. In order to enhance the performance of the solar cells, many studies have been performed on the surface treatment with passivation layer like SiN, SiO2, Al2O3, and a-Si:H. In this work, Al2O3 thin films were investigated to reduce recombination at surface. The Al2O3 thin films have two advantages, such as good passivation properties and back surface field (BSF) effect at rear surface. It is usually deposited by atomic layer deposition (ALD) technique. However, ALD process is a very expensive process and it has rather low deposition rate. In this study, the ICP-assisted reactive magnetron sputtering method was used to deposit Al2O3 thin films. For optimization of the properties of the Al2O3 thin film, various fabrication conditions were controlled, such as ICP RF power, substrate bias voltage and deposition temperature, and argon to oxygen ratio. Chemical states and atomic concentration ratio were analyzed by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). In order to investigate the electrical properties, Al/(Al2O3 or SiO2,/Al2O3)/Si (MIS) devices were fabricated and characterized using the C-V measurement technique (HP 4284A). The detailed characteristics of the Al2O3 passivation thin films manufactured by ICP-assisted reactive magnetron sputtering technique will be shown and discussed.

A great deal of study for loss reduction of photovoltaic system is conducted currently. It is hard to distinct the fault of photovoltaic system with the naked eye. For that reason, it is essential to repair and maintain the PV system by monitoring the system. The fault of individual modules can cause the huge loss of the entire system because of the mismatch. Therefore, the method of diagnosing the PV array is necessary by measuring the multi-channel arrays simultaneously. In this paper, it is presented the method of measuring I-V curve of multi-channel arrays simultaneously by using the charge and discharge characteristics of capacitor. Generated DC power at PV arrays is charged and discharged at the capacitors in a moment. By measuring the charged voltage and current, it is possible to diagnose of performance of PV arrays.
Since the direct normal insolation is a main factor for designing any solar thermal power system, it is necessary to evaluate its characteristics all over the country. We have begun collecting direct normal insolation data since December 1990 at 16 different locations and considerable effort has been made for constructing a standard value from measured data at each station. KIER(Korea Institute of Energy Research's new data will be extensively used by solar thermal concentrating system users or designers as well as by research institutes. From the results, we can conclude that 1) Yearly mean $5.4kWh/m^2/day$ of the direct normal insolation was evaluated for clear day all over 16 areas in Korea. 2) Clear day's direct normal insolation of spring and summer were $5.53kWh/m^2/day$ and $5.84kWh/m^2/day$, and for fall and winter their values were $5.3kWh/m^2/day$ and $4.94kWh/m^2/day$ respectively. So, spring and summer were higher, and fall and winter were lower than the yearly mean value.

The fullerene solar cells are becoming a feasible choice due to the advanced developments in donor materials and improved fabrication techniques of devices. Recently, sufficient optimization and improvements in the processing techniques like incorporation of solvent vapor annealing (SVA) with additives in solvents has become a major cause of prominent improvements in the performance of organic solar cell-based devices . On the other hand, the challenge of reduced open circuit voltage (Voc) remains. This study presents an approach for significant performance improvement of overall device based on organic small molecular solar cells (SMSCs) by following a two step technique that comprises thermal annealing (TA) and SVA (abbreviated as SVA+TA). In case of exclusive use of SVA, reduction in Voc can be eliminated in an effective way. The characteristics of charge carriers can be determined by the measurement of transient photo-voltage (TPV) and transient photo-current (TPC) that determines the scope for improvement in the performance of device by two step annealing. The recovery of reduced Voc is linked with the necessary change in the dynamics of charge that lead to increased overall performance of device. Moreover, SVA and TA complement each other; therefore, two step annealing technique is an appropriate way to simultaneously improve the parameters such as Voc, fill factor (FF), short circuit current density (Jsc) and PCE of small molecular solar cells.

To obtain the Si solar cells, the Si-wafers were textured by using the IPA+DI water mixed solution with KOH acids during the various 1~40 minutes at the temperature with $80^{\circ}C$, respectively. The samples were analyzed by the scanning electron microscopy for the surface images and the solar simulation for I-V measurement system. It was researched the correlation between the efficiency of solar cells and the effect of texturing. From the results of the surface images obtained by SEM, the efficiency was increased at the sample textured uniformly, and the efficiency of over etched-samples decreased.
