A Study on the Tracking Failure of MPPT Control in PV Generation System (태양광 발전시스템의 MPPT제어의 최대전력추종 실패에 관한 연구)

  • Photovoltaic(PV) power generation system has been extensively studied and watched with keen interest as a clean and renewable power source. On the other hand, because the output power of solar cell is not only unstable but uncontrollable, the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control is still hot issue with the tracking failure left unsolved under the sudden fluctuation of irradiance. Hence, in this paper, we introduce the mechanism of the tracking failure under the fluctuation of irradiance, and show the simulation results using SPRW(simulation method for PV power generation system using real weather conditions).

  • This paper describes the development of 7he utility vehicle controller using combination system of battery and photovoltaic power for increasing operation time. In order to keep interchangeability, low cost and high performance, a separately excited DC Motor is controlled without velocity and current measurements by $\mu$-processor. For the parallel operation between the solar cell and battery, dc-dc converter is used, which is applied to the maximum power Point tracking(MPPT) and current control algorithm. By the simulation and experimental results of trial product, the vapidity of the proposed system is verified.

  • Photovoltaic Power Generation system occupies an important position as an alternative energy source, converting directly sunlight into electricity,using a photovoltaic cell. The Purpose of this research is to present and confirm the effectiveness of concentration and tracking of sun in photovoltaic power generation. Comparative experiments were carried outwith two rating 75 watt solar modules in $25^{\circ}$ under condition of various times concentration, tracking and plain normal measuring generated voltages, currents and temperatures of back sheet of modules by internet monitoring system to find out which is best in economic sense. The experiments show that output power of concentration and tracking photovoltaic power generation is over 180% more then that of plain normal system.

  • There are increased interests in using new regeneration energy due to the effect of the latest rising oil price. On this account, various practical applications using small stand-alone PV generation system are being made. In this paper, with intent to change mercury lamp using for existing garden lamp with high flux LED, we have considered load characteristic using high flux LED modules applied to PV system. It is simulated with PSIM and made experiment set with a 75[W] solar cell module, DC-DC converter, controller and battery.

It has been developed and applied on residental electric power system by urbanized countries as a alternative energy source to overcome energy problem after oil shock. This paper summarizes the results of these efforts by offering a snapshot of the configuration of photovoltaic in residential applications. The status of PV system components and inter-connection and safety equipment will be summarized. Hence this paper discusses only points that might be useful for application.

  • 본 논문에서는 태양광 발전시스템의 최대전력추종을 위해 퍼지 이론을 도입한 퍼지제어기를 설계하였다. 퍼지제어기의 디지털 설계를 위해 태양광 발전시스템의 각 부분을 구성하고, FPGA를 사용하여 제어기를 구현하였다. 구현된 제어기는 일사량의 변화에도 안정적으로 동작하며, 출력전압의 리플이 작은 결과를 보였다. 또한 FPGA의 퍼지제어기로서의 구현가능성을 발견하고 그 타당성을 입증하였다.

  • The role of Electrical Power Subsystem (EPS) is to generate a power and distribute it to the electrical devices for the system operation. For on-orbit operation of cube satellite, it is also necessary to supply power to on-board mission devices as commercial satellite does. Recently, commercial EPS products dedicated for the cube satellite application has been developed and widely used for the power subsystem design. In this paper, a permanent magnet attitude stabilization method without external power has been introduced because it has advantage from power consumption point of view and the EPS design of cube satellite by applying the commercial EPS products has been introduced and investigated. This paper also deals with the specification of the commercial EPS products for the beginner of the cube satellite design.

  • This paper describes Transformer-less type utility interactive system that is combined with buck/boost chopper applying partial resonant method, which remove Transformer, and high efficient PWM inverter. Therefore, it is possible to make it lightweight, to cut down the cost, and to improve its reliability. What the merits of this system are that we can transmit arbitrary power arbitrary power to load and utility regardless of generating voltage magnitude of solar cell and we can always obtain high factor controlling by equal phase signal with utility.
