A Study on the Recognition and Policy Direction of Welfare Service for the Disabled - Focusing on D-County -

  • This study is a study on the recognition and policy direction of welfare service for the disabled. For this, it aims to draw implications about the policy direction of welfare service for the disabled using basic investigation of welfare for the disabled among $2^{nd}$, $3^{rd}$ community social welfare plans of Jeollanam-do. As study results, it was analysed that the demand of welfare service for the disabled is increasing from providing the past livelihood such as establishing the foundation for basic livelihood to customized welfare service such as supplying jobs for enhancing the quality of life of the disabled. That is judged to be caused by needs for human's basic rights according to economic development and improvement in income level, and it will be appropriate to set up the software-focused policy for the disabled individuals rather than to set up the hardware-focused policy like the past. Despite the implications like these, however, this study has limitation that its subject is restricted to D-gun, so henceforth it needs to draw more general conclusions through comprehensive research about more extensive regions.

A Study on Users' Intention to Use Considering Service Quality of Smartphone Banking (스마트폰 뱅킹 서비스 품질을 고려한 사용자 이용의도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose First, this study examines the relationship between characteristics of smartphone banking and trust of smartphone banking. Second, this study investigates the impact of perceived benefit on the trust and usage intention of smartphone banking. Finally, this study considers moderating effect of service quality in the relationships between perceived benefit and trust and usage intention of smartphone-based mobile banking. Design/methodology/approach This research uses the survey method to test its hypotheses, the survey population is smartphone baking users. A software tool called AMOS 17.0 used to analyze the research model. Findings The results showed that characteristics of smartphone banking channel like compatibility, timeliness, and mobility had a positive effect on the trust of smartphone banking. The device familiarity showed a significant positive impact on trust of smartphone banking. While the service quality moderated the relationship between trust and usage intention of smartphone banking, moderating effect of service quality in the relationship between perceived benefit and its usage intention was not significant. The results of this study could provide a theoretical framework to explain customers' decision of smartphone banking and practical implications for banking venders.

  • This paper suggested a web based error manager for societal security service. This is a system that is suitable for detecting, sharing and recovering software error based on multimedia CSCW(Computer Supportes Cooperated Work). With error sharing system, a group cooperating users can share error applications. Our a web based error manager for societal security service enables user to share error objects through interaction awareness. This method has a file sharing, a window copy, a window overlay, or a window sharing. We implemented the web based error manager for societal security service so that the users participated in collaborative work may refer shared error objects as the same view to others.

  • A virtual machine lease service in the cloud computing environment has been implemented using the open source cloud computing platform, OpenNebula. In addition, a web-based cloud user interface is developed for both convenient resource management and efficient service access. The present virtual machine allocation scheme adopted in OpenNebula has performance reduction problem because of not considering CPU allocation scheduler of the virtualization software. In order to address this problem we have considered both the priority of the idle CPU resources of the cluster and credit scheduler of Xen, which resulted in performance improvement of the OpenNebula virtual machine scheduler. The experimental results showed that the proposed allocation scheme provided more virtual machine creations and more CPU resource allocations for cloud service.

Perceived Connectivity, Perceived Belongingness and Intention to Use IoT Appliance Based Service (인지된 기기 연결성이 사물인터넷(IoT) 가전 기반 서비스의 사용의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증연구)

  • With the development of sensor, communication and intelligent software technology, expectation of IoT-based service which can receive desired service automatically and anytime, anywhere is getting higher. In addition, IoT-based services have begun to anticipate the development of a hyper-connected society. Despite these expectations and anticipations, few studies have empirically identified ways to improve the intentions of prospective customers to use IoT-based services. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose a theoretical model that can explain the factors that determine the intention of using IoT-based services. In addition, this study investigates what factors affect the intention to use IoT-based services focusing on the connectedness. Especially, perceived connectivity with the (virtual) community, unlike the connectivity with the machines, is newly proposed, to understand the IoT technology adoption behavior. The empirical results suggest that social relationship is one of the critical factors to affect the use of services running on interconnected technology such as IoT. When IoT-based service is recognized as a link to other communities, it has been found to have a positive effect on intention to use via perceived belongingness.

A Model-Based Interface to Cloud Services for Intelligent Service Robots (지능형 서비스 로봇을 위한 모델 기반 클라우드 서비스 인터페이스)

  • Service robots providing services according to user's needs in dynamically changing environments should be able to utilize external services such as cloud services. Cloud services are, however, changing and expanding continuously and thus the interface to the services must be general and flexible to adapt to the changes of the functionality and data of the services. In order to facilitate the adaptation of the interface to the changes, a model-based general interface to various cloud services is proposed. In this approach, a general and extensible interface is realized by defining standard service profiles that can be easily extended to adapt to the changed services. Experiments with intelligent service robots show satisfying results exhibiting flexible adaptations to new or changed external services.

  • The blockchain contains potential to contribute for the development of education, teaching and learning as it provides the basic technologies which can handle the data transparently and stably in reliability. Especially, blockchain technology can guarantee the transparency, stability and reliability on the data especially in managing longitudinal education data. This study designed the Badgechain service platform combining badges and blockchains. This service consists of Badgechain solution, Moodle LMS linked to Badgechain added with Badgechain service as a learning activity, and Badgechain Wallet site where badges issued by various agencies can be viewed and managed. This study was performed as a basic study on educational use of blockchain.

Influence of the Satisfaction of Nursing Services on the Intention to Revisit in Caregivers of Patients in Comprehensive Nursing Care Units (간호·간병통합서비스병동 입원환자 보호자의 간호서비스 만족도가 병원 재이용 의도에 미치는 영향)

  • Objectives: Guardians of patients have a great deal of influence on decision-making in the course of care in Korea. The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of nursing service satisfaction on hospital re-use intention in the guardians of patients admitted to comprehensive nursing care units. Methods: The survey was conducted on 151 guardians of patients hospitalized in comprehensive nursing care units of two general hospitals for four months beginning in September 2017. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-tests, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analyses using SPSS/Win 21 software. Results: Nineteen percent of variance in hospital re-use intention was accounted for by reliability (t=3.31, p=.001), empathy (t=2.49, p=.014), and recommendations from others (t=2.49, p=.014). The explanatory power was significant (F=13.06, p<.001). Conclusions: To promote hospital reuse, nurses need to improve the quality of their nursing services. Emphasis should be on reliability and empathy among nursing service components. It is also necessary to consider ways to encourage guardians who used hospitals to recommend them to their acquaintances.

  • The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Servant Leadership and Business Transformation on Corporate Competitiveness and Corporate Sustainability. In this research, Service Innovation is the mediating element. The sample of this study was made up of all ship leaders in all crossings of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), which consisted of 150 Commanders or Chief Commanders (Mualim I). The location of the research is the Vessel PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) is used on all crossings of the company. It is a survey research using questionnaires given to 150 respondents. The validity and reliability were checked using Pearson correlation and Cronbach's Alpha. The analysis used the WarpPLS statistical method and WarpPLS software. The results from this research show that the increased Servant Leadership will improve Service Innovation. Business Transformation developed by PT ASDP has not been able to improve Service Innovation. To our knowledge, there is no study on the concept of comprehensive competitiveness and sustainability involving Servant Leadership, Business Transformation, and Service Innovation in an integrated and simultaneous manner. Therefore, the novelty of this research is the development of concepts or models of Corporate Competitiveness and Corporate Sustainability Theory through Servant Leadership, Business Transformation, and Service Innovation.

A Study on the Quantified Point System for Designation of Personal Identity Proofing Service Provider based on Resident Registration Number

  • In this paper, we propose to improve the designation examination criteria of agencies that provide personal identity proofing based on the resident registration number (RRN), a 13-digit number uniquely assigned by the government to identify Korean citizens. In online commerce, etc., the personal identity proofing agency (PIPA) is a place where online users can prove their personal identity by presenting an alternative means instead of their RRN. The designation examination criteria for PIPAs established in 2012 is a revision of the relevant current laws, and there is a problem in applying the designation examination for alternative means of RRN as the current examination standard. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a method to make the current examination criteria applicable to the newly designated examination of the personal identity proofing service provider based on the current RRN alternative method. According to the current designation examination criteria, only those who satisfy all the examination criteria are designated as the PIPA. However, in reality, it is not in line with the purpose of regulatory reform to require that all examination criteria be satisfied. In the proposed method, it is proposed to apply the standard score system for designation of PIPAs, to make the law current, to secure legal compliance, and to establish a new examination standard to provide a new alternative means of personal identity proofing service. By applying the proposed method to the PIPA designation examination, various alternative means of RRN can be utilized in the online commerce service market.
