Analysis of Dedicated Mission Software Architecture for Unmanned Vehicles for Public Mission (공공임무를 위한 무인이동체 탑재용 임무소프트웨어 구조 분석)

  • The application of the unmanned vehicles in various fields has been attracting attention, and the development of a service utilizing unmanned vehicles has been proceeding. As the service market using the unmanned vehicles rapidly increases, the demand for the development of software for performing the mission with unmanned vehicles is increasing. In particular, as the demand for unmanned vehicle utilization services for public missions such as fire detection, mail delivery, and facility management increases, the importance of developing mission software for unmanned vehicle is increasing. To develop common mission software, architecture design should be made so that unmanned vehicle service provider can easily develop software using reusable libraries or functions through analysis commonly required by various public institutions. In this paper, we discuss the research trends of mission software for public mission unmanned vehicles. In addition, the architecture design of developing formal mission software is proposed. Finally, we propose a data transfer architecture between mission software and data platform.

  • Shortest Path Problems are among the most studied network flow optimization problems, with interesting applications in various fields. One such field is the route determination service, where various kinds of shortest path problems need to be solved in location-based service. Our research aim is to propose a route technique in real-time locationbased service (LBS) environments according to user’s route preferences such as shortest, fastest, easiest and so on. Turn costs modeling and computation are important procedures in route planning. There are major two kinds of cost parameters in route planning. One is static cost parameter which can be pre-computed such as distance and number of traffic-lane. The other is dynamic cost parameter which can be computed in run-time such as number of turns and risk of congestion. In this paper, we propose a new cost modeling method for turn costs which are traditionally attached to edges in a graph. Our proposed route determination technique also has an advantage that can provide service interoperability by implementing XML web service for the OpenLS route determination service specification. In addition to, describing the details of our shortest path algorithms, we present a location-based service system by using proposed routing algorithms.

  • Domestic ASP (Application Service Provider) market has been dramatically enlarged under government supports for last 10 years. However ASP industry recently has been troubled for poor performance and market saturation. In this paper, firstly I derive core service groups through using BCG matrix for ASP market size and growth rate and secondly generate major critical success factors using focused group interview for selected core service groups. Finally I would like to propose a direction of ASP industry revitalization based on above critical success factors and transition strategy to SaaS (Software as a Service).

  • By providing Asp or Client/Server method, most library system service proposal has a problem that is hard to manage and high cost across the software like high cost of hardware and software license, installation and distribution, purchasing cost, upgrade, customization, problem management etc. As proposed in order to solve this problem, smart library system that supporting multi-tenant environment realized on-demand mode that is a simple and little initial investment costs and possible for low cost IT service.

  • Purpose - The study aims to show the successful application of Six Sigma in software companies for process improvement. Research design, data and methodology - A mixed methodology has been used which include both qualitative and quantitative research. In the qualitative research methodology part, a detailed and comprehensive literature study have been carried out. The literature study consists of articles, books, web materials, discussion forms and others. In the quantitative research methodology part, interviews have been conducted. Results - Six sigma is the practical application of a theoretical statistical measurement that equates to 3.4 defects per million opportunities -a position of practically zero defects for any process or service. Initially originating in Motorola Inc. in 1985 as a response to drastic quality improvement pressures from the threat of Japanese competition, it quickly gained many followers particularly G.E., Allied Signal, Ford Motor Company etc. and more recently attentions have shifted to service environments. There are still some problems and misconceptions existed about the applicability of Six Sigma in software companies. Conclusions - The paper concludes that Six Sigma can bring large benefits for software companies too. Furthermore, software companies have already started to implement Six Sigma approach, like Ericsson, Tata Consultancy Service, etc.

  • In recent years, the problem of spectrum mobility in Cognitive Radio (CR) Networks has been widely investigated. In order to utilize spectrum resources completely, many spectrum handoff techniques based on game theory have been proposed, but most studies only concern that users how to achieve better payoffs, without much attention to the diverse needs of users. In this paper, we propose a new channel-switching model based on game theory, using a prioritized approach to meet the diverse needs of users in two different modes (CQ and PS). At the same time, this paper proposes some acceleration techniques to reach the Nash equilibrium more efficiently. We evaluate the performance of the proposed schemes depending on priority using real channel availability measurements, and conclude that the channel quality function (CQ) mode provide better service for priority user but the plan-sorting (PS) mode can be more suitable in multiple priority users exist scene.

  • Open source software has a feature that offers its service by the subscription method without getting a license fee. Therefore, this business style needs a different form of estimate criteria from other proprietary software, which is paid by license fees and maintenance service fees. However, consumers, including the public sector, don't understand this feature. This problem has kept the open source software business from attaining prosperity. I would like to provide a model for the estimate criteria that can apply to the open source software business by investigating and developing various advanced research and market examples.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, issues related to quarantine are emerging. There are various infection prevention methods, but among them, it is certain to frequently disinfect the surface or the entire space of an object that has come into contact with the virus. However, the reality is that the number of times such disinfection is legally designated and the required number of personnel are very different depending on the building and facility. For this reason, there are no companies and systems that can professionally receive orders for disinfection work. In order to solve the aforementioned problems, this paper presents a method to design a disinfection service platform based on the MVC pattern, and implements the required functions based on this. Through this, it is possible to build a more systematic system, and it is hoped that it will be of great help to quarantine with an orderly process for disinfection work.

  • As the demand for quality sleep increases in modern society, the importance of sleep technology has increased. Recently, development of sleep environment improvement products and research on the user's sleep improvement have been activated. Representatively, user sleep pattern analysis research is being conducted through the existing polysomnography, but it is difficult to use it in the sleep environment of daily life. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a system design that can provide a customized deep sleep service to users by detecting sleep disturbance factors in a motion bed environment. In order to improve the user's sleep satisfaction, a logistic regression-based sleep pattern analysis model is proposed and accuracy and significance are verified through experiments. The proposed system is expected to improve the user's sleep quality and effectively prevent and manage sleep disorders.

  • SaaS at a cloud computing is a framework to provide a software as a service. Depending on the difference of the tenant and the use, if the service provider re-establish a service, they are required resources In terms of costs and managerial. So we propose a technique for analysis of software structure using the process algebra to reuse existing software. A process algebra analyze the structure of the software, express in different languages and verify that it can be reused. CCS in a process algebra is useful to convert the business process or XML, by using this, we structure a process as process view and propose meta storage for comparison and management a structured document.
