  • This paper reviews the concept and limits of rural community development, examines the relation between consciousness education and movement, and suggests the model of social consciousness education to rural community movement. Since consciousness education is closely related to social movement methodologically, organizational and systematic community development movements for re-structuring the urban-oreiented policies and education which back up them be followed as natural consequence. Based upon the results of this study, the new paradigm is suggested. As shown in the model, new understanding of urban-rural continuum theory, new roles and concept of social consciousness education should be emphasized to solve the contemporary rural community problems. The organizational community development movement for the rural-oriented policy should be an essential process, and peoples' re-orientation, such as 'breaking stereotype', 'assumming a critical thinking toward social reality' etc., is the indispensible background of successful movement.

It was hypothesized that self-esteem and the number and satisfaction of social support would mediate the relationship between attributional style and depression. Data were collected from 226 university students and analyzed by using a series of path analyses. The following scales were used; Attributional style questionnaire, Self-esteem scale, Social support questionnaire, and Beck depression inventory. Results indicated that self-esteem mediated the relationship between attributional style for positive and negative outcomes and depression. The findings were discussed in the relation to the effects of attributional style on self-esteem, social support, and depression.

  • Students' participation in epistemic practices, which are related to knowledge construction on the part of students, is becoming a crucial part of learning (Goizueta, 2019). Research on epistemic practices in science education draws attention to teachers' support of students to engage in epistemic practices in mathematics instruction. The research highlights a need for incorporating epistemic goals, along with conceptual and social goals, into instruction to promote students' epistemic practices. In this paper, I investigate how teachers interact with students to integrate epistemic goals. I examined 24 interaction excerpts that I identified from six interview transcripts of two beginning teachers' mathematics instruction. Each excerpt was related to the teachers' talk about their specific interaction(s) in a small group. I explored how each teacher's discursive moves and goals were conceptual, social, and epistemic-related as they intervened in small groups. I found that both teachers used conceptual, social, and epistemic discursive move but their discursive moves were related only to social and social goals. This paper suggests supporting teachers to develop epistemic goals in mathematics instruction, particularly in relation to small groups.

The research shows that social media buzz positively affects the user growth, proving Granger Causality relation of increasing social media buzz on K Bank increases K Bank users. The research also shows that marketing activities noticeably impacts K Bank's positive user growth. On the other hand, the event of Kakao Bank's grand opening shows negative effect. The results from the research validates the need for periodical monitoring process of social media buzz. Moreover, the research proves that the integrated analysis of social media buzz and marketing effect is also essential.

  • This study aims to prevent the serious threat from dangerous person or group by responding or blocking or separating illegal activities by use of SNA: Social Network Analysis. SNA enables to identify the complex social relation of suspect and individuals in order to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of investigation. SNS has rapidly developed and expanded without restriction of physical distance and geo-location for making new relation among people and sharing large amount of information. As rise of SNS(facebook and twitter) related crimes, terrorist group 'ISIS' has used their website for promotion of their activity and recruitment. The use of SNS costs relatively lower than other methods to achieve their goals so it has been widely used by terrorist groups. Since it has a significant ripple effect, it is imperative to stop their activity. Therefore, this study precisely describes criminal and terrorist activities on SNS and demonstrates how effectively detect, block and respond against their activities. Further study is also suggested.
