Purpose: This study examined the interactions between the job strain and social support in the workplace on the development of workrelated neck pain in office workers. Methods: The participants included 62 office workers without neck pain over the last twelve months. A battery of measures evaluating the potential workplace risk factors in office settings were conducted at the baseline, and at the 12 month incidence of work-related neck pain was reported via monthly questionnaires. Survival analysis evaluated the interaction effect between job strain and social support on the development of work-related neck pain. Results: The incidence of work-related neck pain was 1.91 (95% CI: 1.06 - 3.45) per 100 person months. The interaction effect between job strain and social support found that job strain may increase the risk of developing new work-related neck pain when lower social support existed in the workplace. On the other hand, the adverse effects of job strain on the development of neck pain were not significant when workers had higher social support from their colleagues and supervisors. Conclusion: An investigation of the moderating effects of risk factors on neck pain might reveal the unexplained relationship between the risk factors for the development of neck pain in office workers. Therefore, the interest in prevention plans and treatments should involve a comprehensive understanding of the risk factors at workplace.
Social credit rating in China (SCRC) has been criticized as "dystopian" and "Orwellian," an attempt by the Communist Party to hold onto power by exerting ever greater control over its citizens. To explain such measures, value differences are often invoked, that Chinese value stability and cooperation over privacy and freedom. However, these explanations are oversimplifications that result in ethical impasses. This article argues social credit rating should be understood in terms of the commonly human problem of large-scale cooperation. To do so, this paper relies on a cultural evolutionary framework and is an exercise in interpretive pros hen ethical pluralism, attempting to understand how apparently irresolvable cultural differences stem from common human concerns. Wholesale condemnation of SCRC fails to acknowledge the serious, intractable nature of problems resulting from a lack of trust in China. They take for granted the existence of institutions ensuring largescale, anonymous cooperation characteristic of - but somewhat unique to - Western Educated Industrialized Rich and Democratic (WEIRD) cultures. Because of its history and rapid development, China lacks the institutions necessary to ensure such cooperation, and because of anti-social punishment, social credit rating might be one of the few ways to ensure cooperation at this scale. The point is not to defend social credit rating in general, but to raise the possibility of its defense in China and show one way this would be done.
The purpose of this study was to create and validate Scale of Resilience to Burnout and Scale of Burnout Risk for social workers in medical settings. For the purpose, instrument development model, a kind of mixed methods research was used. In the first phase, six dimensions of resilience(: professional competency, accomplishment and worthwhileness, firm belief and value about their profession, good teamwork, support by their agency, and individual resources) and six dimensions of risk to burnout(: dissatisfaction with organizational condition, interpersonal stress among team members, organizational conflict, work related stress, deficiency of professionalism, and individual stress) were suggested thorough the preceding papers with qualitative approaches. The second phase involved analysis of a survey of 185 participants that appeared to validate the dimensions of the measures. The construct validity and reliability of each measure were tested. And it was founded that there were its own factors in each concept, although resilience to burnout related negatively to burnout risk. The results of this study suggest mixed methods research is useful to develop measures reflecting voices in the social work field.

The use of the social media has become part of our daily life activities. The social web channels provide the content generation facility to its users who can share their views, opinions and experiences towards certain topics. The researchers are using the social media content for various research areas. Sentiment analysis, one of the most active research areas in last decade, is the process to extract reviews, opinions and sentiments of people. Sentiment analysis is applied in diverse sub-areas such as subjectivity analysis, polarity detection, and emotion detection. Stance classification has emerged as a new and interesting research area as it aims to determine whether the content writer is in favor, against or neutral towards the target topic or issue. Stance classification is significant as it has many research applications like rumor stance classifications, stance classification towards public forums, claim stance classification, neural attention stance classification, online debate stance classification, dialogic properties stance classification etc. This research study explores different feature sets such as lexical, sentiment-specific, dialog-based which have been extracted using the standard datasets in the relevant area. Supervised learning approaches of generative algorithms such as Naïve Bayes and discriminative machine learning algorithms such as Support Vector Machine, Naïve Bayes, Decision Tree and k-Nearest Neighbor have been applied and then ensemble-based algorithms like Random Forest and AdaBoost have been applied. The empirical based results have been evaluated using the standard performance measures of Accuracy, Precision, Recall, and F-measures.

This study aims to compare the awareness of the social value of public libraries between users and non-users to materialize the abstract concept of social value and, thereby, to present measures that can be applied to the library field. For this purpose, a survey was conducted in person or online for 15 days from May 7, 2023, targeting Paju citizens. Frequency analysis, factor analysis, independent samples t-test, and one-way analysis of variance were conducted on 206 valid response copies using SPSS 25.0. In the results, it is shown that, first, for awareness of the social value of public libraries according to socio-demographic characteristics, there were significant differences depending on age, with in particular, awareness among those in their 10s and 40s being higher than other age groups. For awareness of community development, the awareness of the female group was higher than that of the male group, while, for the awareness according to occupation, it is shown that awareness was highest in the following order: student, others, housewife, self-employed, and office worker. Second, for the awareness of the social value of public libraries, the awareness of the user group was higher than that of the non-user group in all areas. Third, for awareness of the social value of public libraries according to the level of library use, there was no significant difference between groups. In conclusion, it is suggested that measures to encourage non-users to become users, develop new content and services targeting male group and those in their 60s, and 20s, and strengthen community activities are needed to raise awareness of the social value of Paju City public libraries in the future.
Due to the paradigm shift in fashion industry, its contribution to social activities and social enterprises' practice of ethical fashion has been on the rise lately. The surveillance and regulations of international community have increased in light of the betterment of working conditions and protection of the rights, and corporate social responsibility has been emphasized through consumers' interest in ethical consumption. In this regard, the fashion social enterprises' responsible and ethical management can both boost the trust in business and value-added. The study aims to propose feasible methods by exploring ways to induce support from central and local governments, which will lead to the activation of future fashion social enterprises and paradigms shift of consumers's perception and value. The sustainability of social enterprises requires management line or policies that consider social, environmental, economic, and political aspects of virtuous cycle, differentiated internally or externally. Fashion social enterprises also need ethic management and social responsibility management that are distinctive from general fashion enterprises. Thus, they will not be sustainable or differentiated unless entrepreneurial faith and role is not clear. Education and continuous promotion including upcycling are critical to build consumer base as they can make consumers spend ethically and recognize social enterprises. In addition, social education and public relations need to take place in order to internalize consumer pattern. The goal of sustainable corporate social activity is to change the awareness and become social investment that returns some profits to the society as members in line with reviewing corporate image. This can lead to establishing the foundation of securing a big comsumer market and winning the trust of the consumer's through corporate social responsibility and investment.

Korea enacted the Protection of Public Interest Reporters Act in March 2011 to protect whistleblowers from acts of infringement of public interest in the private sector. Most acts of infringement of the public interest are carried out secretly within the organization, which is known to the outside world by reports from members of the organization who are well aware of the problems within the organization. However, whistleblowers are at a disadvantage due to reporting and are reluctant to report. In addition, measures are needed to strengthen institutional mechanisms such as confidentiality, protection of personal information, responsibility, and prohibition of disadvantageous measures to effectively protect reporters due to lack of practical protective measures. Therefore, practical protection measures for whistleblowers are needed in line with the purpose of protecting whistleblowers, and measures to expand the corresponding compensation system will also be needed. Therefore, in this study, we would like to review the main contents of the current system for protecting whistleblowers in Korea and suggest reasonable improvement measures for protecting whistleblowers.
Purpose: As we are facing the global crisis from the climate change and energy depletion, urgent actions are needed to design a integrated sustainable building. This paper suggests that a sustainable design awards can stimulate for architects to bring the cutting-edge ideas into a realized building in comparison to green building certification system. AIA COTE Top 10 design awards, organized and run by AIA(American Institute of Architects) COTE(Committee on the Environment) from 1997, is analyzed as a case study. By researching the core of the AIA COTE Top 10 design awards system in terms of evaluation measures and submission requirements, meaningful suggestions were drawn to supplement Korea Green Building Awards system and to design and realize leading green buildings in Korea. Method: The comparison between AIA COTE Top 10 and Korea Green Building Design Awards was made in terms of evaluation measures, submission requirements, and green building certification systems. Result: This paper finally suggests the following three points in conclusion: 1) Set the standards of evaluation measures reflecting the three aspects(economy, environment, social) of sustainability, 2) Set the qualitative evaluation measures and corresponding submission requirements that can apply in the design awards in comparison to green building certification system, 3) Develop and balance submission requirements in response to evaluation measures to proceed systematic evaluation of the green buildings.
The use of construction machinery has been increasing every year due to the large scale, high-rise and lack of workers in construction work. On the other hand, deaths are on the rise every year due to inadequate risk management for construction machinery work. In addition, the number of deaths caused by the lack of signals or insufficient signals during construction machinery work is increasing rapidly, and it is deemed necessary to analyze the actual conditions and take countermeasures. Therefore this study has developed the Strength Risk Index (SRI) based on the Frequency Risk Index (FRI) and the 5W1H by analyzing in-depth deaths caused by construction machinery over the past five years. The risk index (RI) was assessed using the frequency and strength risk index derived to determine whether it is acceptable (acceptable risk < 0.25 ≦ unacceptable risk) and the risk assessment method for reducing risk was proposed by applying 3E (Engineering, Education, Enforcement) measures for each level of risk for unacceptable risk. It also proposed measures to improve the system, such as requirements for signal numbers, mandatory placement standards, and mandatory installation of side and rear monitoring cameras, as measures for accidents caused by failure to deploy signals or insufficient signals, which account for the highest proportion of deaths among construction machinery operators and workers.
With the aging of society a great deal of interest is being placed on the value of longitudinal data in evaluating physiological losses. We present data on test-one/test-two reliability and reproducibility for measures of training, bone density from a longitudinal study of master athletes. Fifty-two males (mean age at test $1=58.2{\pm}9.8\;years$) and thirty-two females ($54.4{\pm}8.8\;years$) were selected from the study population. Bone mineral density was determined using DEXA (Hologic 1500). The characteristics of the subjects are presented below as $means\;{\pm}\;S.D$. The data was imported into the Statistical Package for the Social Science (SPSS 9.0, Chicago, IL). Paired t-tests were performed between visit 1 and visit 2 in subjects. Pearson correlations were performed. The results of this study indicate the measures of training history, body mass and bone density are reasonably stable and reproducible. We conclude that body composition and bone density parameters are stable and reproducible over time in active older subjects. Physiologic measures in master athletes are fairly stable, and reproducible over time Longitudinal studies investigating age-related changes in master athletes need to be conducted on a time schedule of greater than two years.
