First, this study extracted 748 uncontrolled keywords from inquiries for reference in the field of social science. Second, calculated similarity indices between the words on the basis of co-occurrence frequency, and performed not only clustering but also MDS mapping. Third, to grasp the difference in inquiries for reference by period, dividing the period into two parts, and performed comparative analysis. As a result, there formed 5 clusters and "Korea Education" showed an overwhelming size with 40.3% among those clusters. The result of the analysis through the period division showed there were many questions about "Education" during the first half, while a lot of inquiries with focus on "welfare and business information" during the second half.

  • This study verifies the validity of the role-relaxed consumption scale developed by Kahle (1995b) for Korean consumers. This study also tests a model that includes consumer susceptibility to interpersonal influence along with attention to social comparison information as antecedents and their relationships. Data were gathered by surveying university students in Seoul, Korea, using convenience sampling, and 600 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. Correlation analysis, factor analysis, ANOVA and path analysis were conducted in order to analyze the data. It was proved that the role-relaxed consumption scale was effective for Korean consumers. A path analysis showed that consumer susceptibility to interpersonal influence and attention to social comparison information influence role-relaxed consumption.

  • The aim of this study is to investigate how travelers' destination visit intentions are influenced by avatar self-congruence in the metaverse platform. We extended the impression management theory by considering both perceived enjoyment and social engagement, and illustrated the interaction effect based on users' digital age. To achieve this, we conducted an online survey with 302 users. The survey results revealed that avatar self-congruence significantly influenced users in terms of perceived enjoyment and social engagement, thereby affecting their destination visit intentions. This study also revealed a significant interaction effect between digital age type and avatar self-congruence on users' perceived enjoyment. The results of this study are expected to provide not only a theoretical reference for metaverse research and travel research but also managerial implications for destination management and metaverse applications.

  • Much Interest has focused on social network services such as Facebook and Twitter. Previous research conducted on social network often emphasized the architecture of the social network that is the existence of path between any objects on network and the centrality of the object in the network. However, studies on the semantic association in the network are rare. Studies on searching semantic associations between entities are necessary for future business enhancements. In this research, the ontology based social network analysis is performed. A new method to search and rank relation sequences that consist of several relations between entities is proposed. In addition, several heuristics to measure the strength of the relation sequences are proposed. To evaluate the proposed method, an experiment was performed. A group of social relationships among the university and organizations are constructed. Some social connections are searched using the proposed ranking method. The proposed method is expected to be used to search the association among entities in ontology based knowledge base.

Participants in this study included 1610 infants (825 boys, 785 girls) and their mothers. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, infant temperament demonstrated a direct relationship to mother's self-efficacy. Lower levels of infant temperament indicated lower levels of self-efficacy, and higher levels of infant temperament indicated higher levels of self-efficacy. Second, infant development demonstrated a direct relationship to mother's self-efficacy. Greater communicative and social interaction between mother and child demonstrated a higher level of maternal self-efficacy. Third, mothers' parenting stress demonstrated a direct relationship to mother's self-efficacy. Higher levels of parenting stress demonstrated lower levels of maternal self-efficacy. Forth, Social support demonstrated a direct relationship to mother's self-efficacy. Greater levels of social support demonstrated lower level of maternal self-efficacy. Fifth, the greatest single relationship effecting mother's self-efficacy was mother's parenting stress. This research suggests the need for development of diverse social policies and programs to help mothers reduce maternal parenting stress and support the development of positive parenting skills with the goal of boosting mother's self-efficacy.
