  • In this paper we fabricated QMSAs for 850MHz band on the teflon substrate with $\varepsilon_1-2.6, $ $t=1.6mm(\pm0.08)(CGP-500).$ We measured the resonant frequency and the return loss with cutting the gap region between radiation patch and ground plate by a 5mm length step by step. As a result we found that the measured data was not so bad unlike other papers when the gap region was closer to zero, especially under 10mm.

  • Nowadays, with increasing many vehicles on restricted roads, the conventional traffic light creates prove startup-delaytime and end-lag-time. The conventional traffic light loses the function of optimal cycle. And so, 30∼45% of conventional traffic cycle is not matched to the present traffic cycle. In this paper proposes electrosensitive traffic light using fuzzy look up table method which will reduce the average vehicle waiting time and improve average vehicle speed. Computer simulation results prove that reducing the average vehicle waiting time which proposed considering passing vehicle length for optimal traffic cycle is better than fixed signal method which doesn't consider vehicle length.

  • Natural gas hydrates typically contain 85 wt.% water and 15 wt.% natural gas, and commonly belongs to cubic structure I and II. When referred to standard conditions, 1㎥ solid hydrates contain up to 172N㎥ of methane gas, depending on the pressure and temperature of production. Such large volumes make natural gas hydrates can be used to store and transport natural gas. So, the tests were performed on the formation of natural gas hydrate is governed by the pressure, temperature, gas composition etc. The results show that the formation pressure of structure II is lower about 65% and the solubility is higher about 3 times than that of structure I.

  • Flow-field design has much influence over the performance of proton exchange membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) because it affects the pressure magnitude and distribution of the reactant gases. To obtain the pressure magnitude and distribution of reactant gases in four kinds of flow-field designs without additional measurement equipment, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis was performed. After the CFD analysis, the performance values of PEMFC according to the flow-field configurations were measured via a single cell test. As expected, the pressure differences due to different flow-field configurations were related to the PEMFC performance because the actual performance results showed the same tendency as the results of the CFD analysis. A large pressure drop resulted in high PEMFC performance. So, the single serpentine configuration gave the highest performance. On the other hand, the parallel flow-field configuration gave the lowest performance because the pressure difference between inlet and outlet was the lowest.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of the productivity innovation partnership program and propose the method for improvement. We investigated 90 companies which are sub-contractors of Samsung Electronics, LG electronics, POSCO and so on. Methods: We developed and carried out a survey and analyzed the results of the program. The interviews are also performed. Results: This study shows that the partnership program is a effective method for improving quality and productivity of sub-contractors and it is necessary to extend coverage of this program. Conclusion: We suggested some improvement points of the partnership program and they are to be applied in the next year. The results show that the suggestion is helpful and valuable.

Hepatic Cell Membrane Changes of Rats in the Early Postmortem Period

  • To investigate the postmortem changes in hepatic cell membrane, the rats were sacrificed with cervical dislocation and kept in an incubator at $25^{\circ}C$, 70% of humidity for 12 hours. The biochemical experiments in postmortem were done at 2, 4, 8 and 12 hours. The degree of rigor mortis and algor mortis were increased with the time during 12 hours. The contents of hepatic malondialdehyde were rapidly increased ai 2 hours, and gradually decreased afterward. In histological findings, after 8 hours, the clotted blood was seen in central vein and sinusoids, and especially portal veins were dilated a1though the structure of hepatic lobules was preserved well. Furthermore, both in the histochemical and enzymatic examinations, membrane bounding alkaline phosphatase activities were gradually decreased with the time. In conclusion, the activity of membrane bounding alkaline phosphatase was linearly decreased with time in the early postmortem period and so it might be referred to the possibility fur the estimation of death time in the early postmortem period.

Retrieval of emissivity and land surface temperature from MODIS

  • In this study, emissivity and land surface temperature (LST) were retrieved using the previously developed algorithms and Aqua/MODIS data. And sensitivity of estimated emissivity and LST to the predefined values, such as land cover, normalized difference vegetation index (NOVI) and spectral emissivity were investigated. The methods used for emissivity and LST were vegetation cover method (VCM) and four different split-window algorithms. The spectral emissivity retrieved by VCM was not sensitive to the NOVI error but more sensitive to the land cover error. The comparison of LST showed that the LST was systematically different without regard to the land cover and season. And the LST was very sensitive to the emissivity error excepting the Uliveri et al. This preliminary result indicates that more works are needed for the retrieval of reliable LST from satellite data.

  • The improvement of the water level control is important since it will prevent the steam generator trip so that improve the reliability and credibility of operation system. In this paper, the closed loop system identification is performed which can be used for the system monitoring and prediction of the system response. The model also can be used for the prediction control. Irving model is used as a steam generator model. The plant is an open loop unstable and non-minimum phase system. Fuzzy controller stabilize the system and the stable controller stabilize the system and the stable closed loop system is identified using neural networks. The obtained neural network model is validated using the untrained input and output. The results of computer simulation show the obtained Neural Network model represents the closed loop system well.

  • In this study, as one of the developing ways of the functional elastomer, improvement of the functionality of 1-Chlorobutadiene-Butadiene Copolymer(CB-BR) was attempt through curing reaction by moisture. The curing reaction of CB-BR was determined an use of $\gamma$-Aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APS) and $\gamma$-Aminopropylmethyldiethoxysilane(ADS) as a crosslinking agent with filler at so the uncrosslinked elastomer was exposured in the air and curing reaction by moisture in the air was studied. The results obtained are as follows. 1. APS was more efficient than ADS as a crosslinking agent for CB-BR 2. Optimum amount of APS for moisture cured elastomer was r=1.5(at the ratio of $[APS]/[Cl^*]$) also in case(r=1.5), elastomer formed after soaking $T_{72}$ had similar physical properties with elastomer crosslinked by sulfur and it was very good. 3. Uncrosslinked elastomer(CB-BR+APS+Silica) was easily crosslinked by exposure to the air, and the physical properties was also satisfactory.

  • Amusement park's indispensable facilities are dependent on electrical energy. So it is very important to ensure electrical power against fire, power failure, disaster and accident. To find out present problems, investigation was carried out for emergency and standby power systems at amusement park all over the country. We research the related regulations for Electrical facilities of internal standards and NEC. As a result, we could know that there is discrepancy between the electrical regulation and the actual condition.
