Application contents verifications and operations are essential for using a secure smart phone environment. In the existing smartphone environment, application verification was performed only in the application company and users has direct management application. However these application verification and management practices have been caused by a variety of security vulnerabilities. Therefore, we will analyze the security vulnerabilities in the existing methods and then we propose an application contents management of smart phone using pre-qualification method.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to (a) synthesize nursing education literature using a smartphone for Korean nursing college students based on Whittemore and Knafl's integrative five-step review method and to (b) evaluate the quality appraisal of each article using Gough's weight of evidence. Methods: Articles published in Korea were identified through electronic search engines and scholarly websites using a combination of three search terms, including nursing student, smartphone, and education. Scientific, peer-reviewed articles in nursing education for Korean college nursing students, written in Korean or in English, and published between January 2000 and May 2018 were included in this review. Thirteen papers met the inclusion criteria and had above average ratings in quality appraisals. Results: Three characteristics related to nursing education using a smartphone were derived: (a) as a familiar media, motivating learning and enabling self-directed learning, (b) for the purpose of education or evaluation utilizing the educational movie of application, and (c) the iterative exercise of smartphone usage reinforces student learning. Conclusion: Smartphone use is an effective tool for improving nursing knowledge and skills for nursing college students in nursing education. Future research is needed to standardize smartphone applications across schools for nursing education.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of motivations for using smatphones and tablet PCs on using applications. For this purpose, this study took a survey targeted for smartphone and tablet PC users. The results suggested that the motivations were consisted of four dimensions ; informations, communication, specific functions and relaxation. In terms of motivations, smartphone users preferred to use specific functions and tablet PC users preferred to use them for relaxation. The motivations for using applications were depended on types of applications. Smartphone users preferred communication applications to information or entertainment ones but tablet PC users preferred entertainment and information applications to communication ones. The results also suggested that motivations for using smartphone and tablet PC had strong impact on using applications in part. The motivations for using smartphone and tablet PC worked as a strong factor for using applications. Especially, the motivations of using smartphone had a strong positive relationship with using applications.

We aimed to construct and test a structural equation model to analyze the convergence effect of utilizing smartphone technology for Therapeutic Lifestyle Change(TLC) among people with mental illness. A survey using a structured self-questionnaire was conducted from 549 male and 357 female subjects. The data was analyzed by SPSS 23.0 and AMOS 21.0. The model fit for the modified hypothetical model was shown: Q(${\chi}^2/df$)=3.241, AGFI=0.968, CFI=0.970, RMSEA=0.050(95% CI=0.035, 0.065), SRMR=0.048. In modified model from hypothetical model, the opinions about smartphone use affect the willingness to use smartphone applications. And the willingness to use smartphone applications affect dietary and living habits. The result of this study suggests that a convergent study using various delivery systems such as smartphone technology is necessary to implement TLC, which can facilitate the prevention of the metabolic syndrome among people with schizophrenia.

Nowadays, smartphones have become a portable multimedia computer because of a variety of useful applications in our daily lives, which can be downloaded and installed easily in smartphones. Despite of the fact that, however in the IS literature there has been little research on smartphone applications' user interface design. Specifically, there has been little understanding about smartphone users' cognitive functions as a mediating variable in the relationship between the user interface design of smartphone applications and users' work performance with the applications. Thus, the research aims of this study are to examine 1) the effects of the user interface design attributes including simplicity, consistency, and metaphor on the compliance with or the extension of users' mental models representing users' cognitive functions, and 2) the effects of the users' cognitive functions on their work performance with the applications. A survey was conducted and Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) was employed to analyze the data. The results of this study showed that two of the user interface design attributes, simplicity and consistency, strongly affected users' cognitive functions. In addition, users' cognitive functions significantly influenced users' work performance. However, there was no relationship between the metaphors in the user interfaces of smartphone applications and the compliance with users' mental model. This study contributed theoretically not only to explore users' mental models that are rarely investigated in the IS field, but also to add some findings related to users' cognitive functions to the IS literature. This study also can help practitioners to develop more user friendly user interfaces of smartphone applications by suggesting the design attributes, such as simplicity, consistency, and metaphor.

As users' convenience increases, the issue of personal information leakage about smartphones is also becoming serious. Since all of the user's personal information needed to provide functions such as electronic banking services and personal file storage is stored in the smartphone, the user's important personal information may be exposed if the smartphone is lost or stolen. In order to protect this privacy, governments and telecommunications companies offer smartphone locking or initialization services, but there are many loopholes and problems. In this paper, we design and implement applications that prevent malicious use of a user's personal information stored on a smartphone when a smartphone is lost or stolen, and that automatically initializes the smartphone used after removing or altering the USIM chip and destroys the user's personal information stored within the phone. The proposed application prevents users from maliciously using their personal information when a smartphone is lost or stolen.

Due to the widespread smartphones and application stores, mobile application developments are now booming again in the same manner of PC history. The smartphone software development process, however, gives much inconvenience to developers because of the heterogeneous platform APIs and hardware incompatibility between different devices. To make clear these problems, mobile web applications are being accepted as an alternative to the native smartphone applications. Mobile web applications can be developed more simply and easily than native applications by using webkit engine's html, Java script, and CSS. Additionally developers can provide a platform-independent applications since web applications are going to run on web browsers. In this paper, we develop a personal applications store running on an android phone's browsers. We can accomplish this very simply by using webkit's various APIs such as OpenID. We can find out by implementing a real web application that development of web applications can surpass the native one in cost and time period without much loss of performance.

최근 현대인들의 성인 고도 비만의 비율이 증가함에 따라 건강에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 추세에 발 맞춰 본 논문에서는 건강과 GPS 위치정보를 접목시켜 사용자들에게 보다 효율적인 운동을 할 수 있는 건강관리 어플리케이션을 제안한다. 구현한 어플리케이션은 스마트폰에서 테스트하여 성능 평가하였다.

스마트폰은 현대 사회에서 빼놓을 수 없는 필수 물품이 되었다. 하지만 과도한 사용으로 인해 중독 증세를 보이며 일상 생활에서까지 영향을 끼치는 경우가 자주 발생한다. 본 연구에서는 스마트폰의 사용 시간을 자동으로 측정하고, 이를 분석하여 사용자에게 스마트폰 사용 제한을 권고하는 어플을 개발한다.

Objectives : This article aims to describe the development of smartphone application for the case management of patients with schizophrenia. Methods : Gwangju Bukgu-Community Mental Health Center developed and launched a smartphone application (HYM) for cognitive-behavioral case management and symptom monitoring. The development of the application involved psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and software technicians from a software development company (Goosl Corp.). Results : The HYM application for clients includes six main modules including Thought record, Symptom record, Daily life record, Official notices, Communication, and Scales. The key module is the 'Thought Record' for self-directed cognitive-behavioral treatment (CBT). When the client writes and sends the self-CBT sheet to the case manager, the latter receives a notification and can provide feedback in real time. 'Communication' and 'Official notices' are useful for promoting communication between case managers and clients with schizophrenia. Ratings in 'Symptom record', 'Daily life record', and 'Scales' modules are stored in graphic or table form representing changes in them and shared with case managers. Conclusion : The interactive function of this application is the key characteristics that distinguishes it from other mobile self-treatment tools. This smartphone application may contribute to the development of a youth- and customer-friendly case management system for individuals with early psychosis.
