Differentiation among stability regimes of alumina-water nanofluids using smart classifiers

  • Nanofluids have recently triggered a substantial scientific interest as cooling media. However, their stability is challenging for successful engagement in industrial applications. Different factors, including temperature, nanoparticles and base fluids characteristics, pH, ultrasonic power and frequency, agitation time, and surfactant type and concentration, determine the nanofluid stability regime. Indeed, it is often too complicated and even impossible to accurately find the conditions resulting in a stabilized nanofluid. Furthermore, there are no empirical, semi-empirical, and even intelligent scenarios for anticipating the stability of nanofluids. Therefore, this study introduces a straightforward and reliable intelligent classifier for discriminating among the stability regimes of alumina-water nanofluids based on the Zeta potential margins. In this regard, various intelligent classifiers (i.e., deep learning and multilayer perceptron neural network, decision tree, GoogleNet, and multi-output least squares support vector regression) have been designed, and their classification accuracy was compared. This comparison approved that the multilayer perceptron neural network (MLPNN) with the SoftMax activation function trained by the Bayesian regularization algorithm is the best classifier for the considered task. This intelligent classifier accurately detects the stability regimes of more than 90% of 345 different nanofluid samples. The overall classification accuracy and misclassification percent of 90.1% and 9.9% have been achieved by this model. This research is the first try toward anticipting the stability of water-alumin nanofluids from some easily measured independent variables.

Distribution of Advertisement on Instagram in Relation to Satisfaction and Loyalty of Low-Cost Airline Passengers in Indonesia

  • Purpose: Low-Cost Carrier airlines attempt to provide the best service for their customers. However, the pandemic has forced airline companies to keep developing new strategies. Moreover, in this digital era, airlines must intensely market their service through social media to reach as many customers as possible. This research aims to study the impact of advertisements on Instagram and the customer experience concerning customer loyalty and satisfaction in the aviation industry. Research design, data, and methodology: This study uses a quantitative explanatory with the combination of the positivism paradigm. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires to related airline Instagram followers. Meanwhile, the sample calculation uses using the Slovin formula in which 414 respondents are gained. The collected data is analyzed with Structural Equation Model and using Smart-PLS software. Results: The study results indicate that advertising on Instagram and customer experience significantly positively affect customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, the variable customer satisfaction has a significant positive on customer loyalty. Conclusions: The study results indicate that the ease of obtaining information via Instagram can affect satisfaction and will increase when customers have made a flight so that they will become loyal customers.

  • Since Tim Berners-Lee introduced the idea of the web to the world in the late 1980s, the way information is produced, accessed and used has been constantly changing. This was once again an era of upheaval after Apple's Steve Jobs introduced the smartphone to the world in the mid-2000s. Before the advent of smart devices, web browsing was mainly done using desktops. After the advent of this device, the era of solving almost all human needs with a small PC in the palm of your hand has arrived. The necessity of seamless connectivity between devices, which are constantly emerging and evolving, asks our attention more than ever. In this study, we will discuss a case of design and development of a national open access website, which is optimized for dynamic online user behaviors with diverse devices. Our goal is to provide one true web for people to use in their environment. Device makers need to provide products identical to the desktop environment as much as possible. Service providers should also provide services optimized for each device in hyper-connected environments. Providing a web, optimized for user's online context, will eventually result in a sustainable user experience.

  • With the development of digital content software production technology and the technological progress of related hardware, the social status quo in the post-epidemic era, the popularization and application of 5G networks, the market and consumers' increasing demand for digital content products, artificial intelligence, virtual digital human, virtual Idols, virtual live, self-media content and metaverse-related content industries are all developing rapidly. Virtual idols, virtual digital human, etc. are not only accelerating innovation in production technology. The economic cost, technical difficulty and time requirements of production are also greatly reduced. With the arrival and development of the Metaverse, the author believes that the content industry with virtual digital humans as the core will continue to develop in the direction of refinement, specialization, facilitation and customization. In this article, we will analyze and study the production of virtual digital human based on Photoscan technology and Unreal Engine 5 Metahuman software, and discuss the application status and future development of related content.

From Technology to Content: Research on the Development of VR Flow Experience

  • Immersion is a features of VR technology, and the most important condition for evaluating VR experience. With the improvement of VR technology, including the presentation accuracy of VR content, the degree of interaction is diversified, the user's immersion in VR equipment should not only be improved technically, but researched from the user's perception level. The paper defines two important factors, immersion and presence, in a participant's experience with a VR device. Although the current technology can already simulate the real environment information visually and audibly, the content of the VR environment is not enough for us to achieve a completely real experience. Based on the Flow theory of Csikszentmihalyi and the sensory immersion achieved by current technology, this paper proposes the key factors of how to achieve conscious immersion for users in VR media. We prove that immersion is an indicator of the true degree of sensory simulation of VR equipment and is the basis for the realization of flow experience. What really makes the participant feel a perfect experience is the content provided by the VR environment and gave participants a sense of presence, it is not limited to video or games. On the premise of the Multi-Sensory, Immersion, Interactivity and Imagination experience achieved by using virtual reality technology, combined with the content creation of flow theory, the interactive immersion achieved by users is an important method to realize the awareness immersion of VR equipment.

A Study on NaverZ's Metaverse Platform Scaling Strategy

  • We look at the rocket life stages of NaverZ's metaverse platform scaling and investigate the ignition and scale-up stage of its metaverse platform brand, Zepeto based on the Rocket Model (RM). The results are derived as follows: Firstly, NaverZ shows the event strategy by collaborating with K-pops, the piggybacking strategy by utilizing other SNSs, and the VIP strategy by investing in game and entertainment content genres in the 'attract' function. In the second 'match' function, based on the matching rule of Zepeto, the users can generate their own characters and "World" with Zepeto Studio. However, for strengthening the matching quality, NaverZ is investing in the artificial intelligence (AI) based companies consistently. In the 'connect' function, NaverZ's maximization of the positive interaction is possible by inducing feed activities in Zepeto & other SNSs and by uploading attractive content for viral effects in the ignition. For facilitating this, NaverZ expands the scale to other continents like Southeast Asia and Middle East with the localization strategy inclusive investment. Lastly, in the 'transact' function, based on three monetization experiments like Coin & ZEM, user generated content (UGC) fee, and advertising revenue in the ignition, NaverZ starts to invest in NFT platforms and abroad blockchain companies.

Effects of Nursing Skills Educational Programs Using Multimedia

  • Nursing students who play a role as future nursing professions are provided with education through various teaching and learning methods in order to develop necessary competencies. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of nursing practice education using multimedia. A quasi experimental study with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used, and the participants of the study were students from two nursing colleges, who received an educational intervention using multimedia as the experimental group and those without education were selected as the control group. Data collection was conducted immediately before and after educational intervention, and data analysis was performed using the SPSS 21.0 program by x2-test, Fisher's exact probability, and t-test. As a result of the study, the experimental group was statistically significant in self-efficacy (t=3.402, p=0.015), resilience (t=2.047, p=0.045) and performance confidence (t=2.128, p=0.018) compared to the control group. Through these results, we could confirm that multi-media practical education is effective educational method for enhancing nursing students' self-efficacy, resilience, and performance confidence. Therefore, in order to establish a systematization of the nursing profession, it is essential and should be continued for nursing students to use structured multimedia and core fundamental nursing skills.

  • 증강현실로 날씨, 뉴스 요약 등이 제공되거나 AI 비서 기능을 제공하는 스마트 미러(smart mirror)가 개발되고 있다. 본 작품에서는 IoT 통합제어, 뉴스 요약 및 날씨 정보 제공 등의 서비스를 하나의 웹 플랫폼으로 구축하고 이를 손가락 제스쳐 및 음성 명령으로 제어하는 것을 제안하고 구현하였다. 본 작품에서는 음성 인식을 통해 IoT 서비스를 직관적으로 이용할 수 있게끔 설계하여 사용자의 편의성을 높였으며, 디바이스를 직접 터치하는 방식이 아닌 finger gesture로 제어하는 방식을 채택해, 디바이스 유지 보수 및 위생 문제를 해결하였다. 단순 IoT 통합 제어 기능뿐만 아니라 다양한 컨텐츠 및 기능을 제공함으로써 통합 플랫폼의 기능을 수행할 수 있도록 하였다. 뉴스 홈페이지에서 Crawling한 뉴스를 text rank 알고리즘을 이용. 자동으로 요약하는 기능과, 사용자의 IP를 기반으로 위도와 경도를 추론, 해당 지역의 일기 예보 정보를 표현해 주는 등 단순 IoT 제어 플랫폼이 아닌, 통합 플랫폼의 기능을 다하도록 설계하였다. 이처럼 다양한 정보를 압축해서 사용자가 편하게 볼 수 있도록 제공하며, 직관적인 two track 제어 방식을 채택. 사용 대상의 편의성을 증대시켜 본 프로젝트는 기존 프로젝트보다 사용자에게 더 나은 사용 경험을 제공할 것이다.

  • 4차 산업혁명과 각종 통신매체의 발전에 힘입어 다양한 분야에서 무인화와 자동화가 급속도로 진행되고 있다. 특히 스마트팩토리와 자율주행기술 및 지능형 CCTV와 같은 분야에서는 높은 수준의 영상처리 기술이 요구되고 있다. 이에 따라 영상을 기반으로 동작하는 시스템에서 전처리 과정에 대한 중요성이 높아지고 있으며, 영상의 잡음을 효과적으로 제거하기 위한 알고리즘이 주목받고 있다. 본 논문에서는 복합잡음 환경에서 잡음판단과 분할마스크를 사용한 필터링 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 입력 영상의 화소값을 대상으로 잡음판단을 진행하여 필터링에 적합한 분할마스크를 스위칭하여 최종출력을 계산한다. 제안한 알고리즘의 성능을 검증하기 위해 시뮬레이션을 진행하였으며, 기존 필터 알고리즘과 결과영상을 비교하여 평가하였다.
