  • Flexible strain sensors, as the core member of the family of smart electronic devices, along with reasonable sensing range and sensitivity plus low cost, have rose a huge consumer market and also immense interests in fundamental studies and technological applications, especially in the field of biomimetic robots movement detection and human health condition monitoring. In this paper, we propose a new flexible strain sensor based on thick CVD graphene film and its low-cost fabrication strategy by using the commercial adhesive tape as flexible substrate. The tensile tests in a strain range of ~30% were implemented, and a gage factor of 30 was achieved under high strain condition. The optical microscopic observation with different strains showed the evolution of cracks in graphene film. Together with commonly used platelet overlap theory and percolation network theory for sensor resistance modeling, we established an overlap destructive resistance model to analyze the sensing mechanism of our devices, which fitted the experimental data very well. The finding of difference of fitting parameters in small and large strain ranges revealed the multiple stage feature of graphene crack evolution. The resistance fallback phenomenon due to the viscoelasticity of flexible substrate was analyzed. Our flexible strain sensor with low cost and simple fabrication process exhibits great potential for commercial applications.

  • Although the IoT market is steadily growing, there is still a lack of consideration for increasing security threats in the IoT environment. In particular, it is difficult to apply existing IP security technology to resource-constrained devices. Therefore, there is a demand for reliable end-to-end communication security measures to cope with security threats such as information tampering and leakage that may occur during communication between heterogeneous networks do. In this paper, we propose an end-to-end message security protocol based on lightweight cipher that increases security and lowers security overhead in resource-constrained IoT device communication. Through simulation of processing time, we verified that the proposed protocol has better performance than the existing AES-based protocol.

  • Many prior studies have been conducted that positive reviews increase the intention to purchase. However, there are very few papers that have studied the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction. It is meaningful to study the impact of review search on purchase satisfaction as it can lead the business successfully by inducing repurchase. There is also no study of how review search have different effects on purchase satisfaction among countries. Given the growing number of cross-border e-commerce, we believe that the need for research is high because identifying these differences between countries can have a very important impact on a company's successful overseas expansion. Therefore, in this study, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction and the national impact were set up as a research model. In order to verify this research model, the survey was distributed to those who experienced online purchase in Korea and China, and a total of 234 copies were collected, including 125 copies in Korea, 109 copies in China, and the research model was verified using Smart-PLS structural equation analysis tools. First, positive review search has been shown to positively affect purchase satisfaction. Second, it has been shown that negative review search also has a positive effect on purchase satisfaction. Third, the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was different between Korea and China. While Korea is more aggressive in review search than China due to its high tendency to avoid uncertainty, China is less likely to avoid uncertainty than Korea and is more likely to rely on brand familiarity. Therefore, according to the uncertainty avoidance moderation effect the impact of positive and negative review search on purchase satisfaction was higher in Korea than in China. In this study, Shopping mall managers need to take strategic measures to maximize shopping mall performance by recognizing positive aspects of negative review search on purchase satisfaction. Companies and managers in Korea and China can establish strategies to promote product sales when companies enter the global market.

We need to verify structural relationship that dessert café environment influences overall quality and brand image and loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology: This study seeks to understand how in-café environment influence overall quality, brand image and loyalty directly and indirectly based on SOR theory. We examine detail effect of in-café environment on overall quality and brand image and subsequently loyalty. Sample data were collected from 563 online survey panels and analyzed by using SmartPLS 3.2.9. Result: The results indicates that all sub-dimensions of in-café environment influences positively overall quality. While, menu and atmosphere make positive impact on brand image. price, food and beverage quality, employee service do not affect significantly brand image. Further, overall quality influences positively brand image and both overall quality and brand image affect positively loyalty. In addition, overall quality plays full mediator role in relationship among price, food and beverage quality, employee service and brand image. Conclusions: Dessert café should differentiate itself from competitors through physical and non-physical environments which are likely to influence overall quality. As overall quality mediates between environment and brand image and influences loyalty, dessert café is required to communicate strength of functional quality and service quality aggressively. Additionally, favorable brand image affecting loyalty is required to be dominated in advance as the market is likely to be segmented along with its growth.
