스마트 하버의 개념설계 (Conceptual Design of SMART HARBOR)

  • This paper presents the primary conceptual design results of Smart Harbor. As the world trade becomes active, so container cargo volume is increasing constantly. Since the coming of very large container ships, It's necessary that a harbor handles many containers more than before. Therefore, we designed the new concept of SMART HARBOR which overcomes land site problem for port expansion and geographic constraints of very large container ships in harbor.

  • Recently, with increasing container ships' volume continuously, the conceptual design "Smart Harbor" of newly logistics processing system has been suggested. It is necessary to estimate resistance and horsepower for the selection of an appropriate propulsor at the initial design stage of Smart Harbor. In this study, CFD and the circulating water channel of the University of Ulsan are employed for estimating the resistance of the Smart Harbor Crane Ship with 1/100 scaled model. Two turbulent models are used. One is realizable k-${\varepsilon}$and the other is Reynolds stress turbulence model. In addition, the effects of the change in y+ and the number of meshes are considered during analysing.

  • 본 연구에서는 항만구조물의 구조건전성 모니터링을 위한 Imote2 센서 플랫폼 기반의 고민감도 스마트 무선센서를 개발하였다. 이를 위해 첫째, 고성능 Imote2 센서 플랫폼을 기반으로 하고, 고민감도 MEMS 가속도계를 탑재한 스마트 무선센서를 설계하였다. 둘째, 스마트 무선센서가 독자적으로 모니터링을 수행할 수 있도록 하는 내장 소프트웨어를 설계하였다. 마지막으로, 개발된 스마트 무선센서의 성능을 모형 케이슨 구조물에서의 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

Experimental Results of Ship-to-Ship Stabilized Mooring System for Mobile Harbor

  • A new concept of ocean transport system, called mobile harbor, was introduced as a feasibility study in Korea in 2009. Target of the mobile harbor is a smart distance transport of containers with or without cargo handling cranes. Although the mobile harbor project has a lot of topics to deal with, this paper is to focus on only ship-to-ship stabilized mooring, which plays a key role in cargo handling. The ship-to-ship stabilized mooring system was developed and installed on beard a barge of LOA 32m and breadth 12m. The dockside tests as sea test were carried out so as to ascertain ascertained whether the systems can work well to control the barge's motion. The results of dockside test showed that the heave motion of the barge's motion can be reduced by more than 45%.

Vibration-based damage monitoring of harbor caisson structure with damaged foundation-structure interface

  • In this paper, vibration-based methods to monitor damage in foundation-structure interface of harbor caisson structure are presented. The following approaches are implemented to achieve the objective. Firstly, vibration-based damage monitoring methods utilizing a variety of vibration features are selected for harbor caisson structure. Autoregressive (AR) model for time-series analysis and power spectral density (PSD) for frequency-domain analysis are selected to detect the change in the caisson structure. Also, the changes in modal parameters such as natural frequency and mode shape are examined for damage monitoring in the structure. Secondly, the feasibility of damage monitoring methods is experimentally examined on an un-submerged lab-scaled mono-caisson. Finally, numerical analysis of un-submerged mono-caisson, submerged mono-caisson and un-submerged interlocked multiple-caissons are carried out to examine the effect of boundary-dependent parameters on the damage monitoring of harbor caisson structures.

Hydrodynamic interactions and coupled dynamics between a container ship and multiple mobile harbors

  • As the size of container ships continues to increase, not many existing harbors can host the super-container ship due to its increased draft and the corresponding dredging requires huge budget. In addition, the minimization of waiting and loading/offloading time is the most important factor in harbor competitiveness. In this regard, mobile-harbor concept has been developed in Korea to achieve much improved harbor capacity and efficiency. In developing the concept, one of the most important elements is the operability of crane between two or more floating bodies in side-by-side arrangement. The container ship is to be stationed through a hawser connection to an outside-harbor fixed-pile station with the depth allowing its large draft. The mobile harbors with smart cranes are berthed to the sides of its hull for loading/offloading containers and transportation. For successful operation, the relative motions between the two or more floating bodies with hawser/fender connections have to be within allowable range. Therefore, the reliable prediction of the relative motions of the multiple floating bodies with realistic mooring system is essential to find the best hull particulars, hawser/mooring/fender arrangement, and crane/docking-station design. Time-domain multi-hull-mooring coupled dynamic analysis program is used to assess the hydrodynamic interactions among the multiple floating bodies and the global performance of the system. Both collinear and non-collinear wind-wave-current environments are applied to the system. It is found that the non-collinear case can equally be functional in dynamics view compared to the collinear case but undesirable phenomena associated with vessel responses and hawser tensions can also happen at certain conditions, so more care needs to be taken.

증강 현실과 QR 코드를 이용한 안내 및 설비 관리 앱 개발 (Development of Guide and Facility Management App by using Augmented Reality and QR Code)

  • 본 논문에서는 증강 현실(AR, augmented reality)과 QR 코드를 이용하여 항구 안내를 하고 선박의 시설물들을 관리할 수 있는 앱을 개발하였다. 스마트 기기의 앱을 이용하여 목포항을 찾아가는 과정 및 항구 안내를 받을 수 있으며, 접항, 입항 시설물에 대한 위치 찾기, 길 안내 형태의 서비스를 이용할 수 있다. 스마트 기기의 앱 활용을 통하여 원하는 목적지를 쉽게 찾을 수 있으며, 선박을 이용하는 관광객들에게 편의를 제공할 수 있다. 또한 QR 코드를 이용하여 선박의 시설물들에 대한 설명을 볼 수 있고, 시설물에 대한 점검일지를 작성하여 관리할 수 있다.

  • 부표는 항구나 해양의 위험물을 표시하기 위하여 체인에 의해 묶여진 부양물체이며, 크게 이동형과 고정형 부표로 나눌 수 있다. 해양 생태환경의 관찰과 연안지역 주변을 관찰 요구를 충족하기 위하여 스마트 부표들이 개발되었다. 스마트 부표들은 GPS, CDMA, ZigBee과 같은 무선 네트워크 시스템을 가진다. GPS 기술을 사용하면 부표의 위치나 주변 환경에 대한 추적이나 관찰을 할 수 있다. 그러나 고정 부표에 사용되는 GPS 시스템은 비싼 비용과 많은 양의 전력을 소모한다. 많은 부표들은 ZigBee를 사용하여 전력소비를 급격하게 줄인다. 본 논문에서는 적은 데이터 전송과 적은 전력소모를 가진 추적가능 부표 시스템을 소개한다. 제안하는 프로토콜은 시스템의 변경없이 비정상적인 움직임을 찾고 추적 가능한 정보 모을 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 2개의 추가적인 비트와 가입요청 메시지들이 추적 가능한 부표시스템에 사용된다. 제안하는 프로토콜은 페트리넷으로 모델링하였고 도달 가능성을 증명한다.

Music License in the Metaverse

  • This paper provides a comprehensive analysis of the implications of the metaverse on the music industry, focusing on copyright issues and potential solutions. It delves into the concept and characteristics of metaverse platforms, describing them as environments that immerse users in a variety of virtual experiences. A significant portion of the paper is dedicated to exploring music use and copyright infringement in the metaverse. It examines how users incorporate existing music into their content, often leading to legal challenges due to copyright infringement. The paper discusses the role of online service providers (OSPs) in this context and the legal implications of their actions. The paper also addresses the 'safe harbor' provisions for OSPs and examines the balance between protecting rights holders and limiting OSP liability. It highlights the challenges and limitations of copyright enforcement in the metaverse, especially given the unique nature of content on platforms such as Roblox. Finally, the article proposes solutions to simplify music licensing in the metaverse, suggesting a shift from property rules to liability rules and the establishment of Collective Management Organizations (CMOs) to streamline the licensing process and better protect copyright holders' interests.

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study is to find that Factors in the practical application of LISMB(Logistics Information System Practice Based) on S.P(Smartphone)' Characters. and take in the whole situation of LISMB on S.P' Characters by this research and it is clear from the findings that LISMB on S.P' Characters situations and distinctiveness. Research design, data, methodology : Research model and hypotheses have been developed based on literature review and working-level interview The collected data were analysed with structural equation modeling, examining the hypothesized relationships and mediating effect. Result : The results of research are as follows, First, LISMB on S.P' Characters has a positive effect on a precariousness of operation management. but That has no effect on a precariousness of general management. Second, Consign management and User non-cooperation has a mediating effect on relationships between LISMB on S.P' Characters and general management. Third, Old version system, User non-cooperation and Unskilled in equipment new system has a partly mediating effect on relationships between LISMB on S.P' Characters and operation management. Conclusion : Smart-phon Prevalence rates keeps increasing. Nevertheless, LISMB on S.P' Characters may no be used in Container transportation market. This problem are being blamed for hampering corporate activities and harbor logistics industry development. so we need new way to solve that problem.
